Job Title: Housing Support Worker

Location: Non residential service which is based in Brent (Close to the Civic Centre), you will provide support based in the main office and in the wider community, including homes

Salary: £27,000

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rota which can range between 08:00 - 16:00, 09:00 - 17:00 and 10:00 - 18:00. You may be required to work outside these hours dependant on service and participant requirements. 

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to support individuals with multiple, complex needs on their journey towards recovery, reablement, and independence, all within a compassionate, trauma-informed environment.

In this role, you'll be at the  heart of delivering high-quality, person-centered support to vulnerable adults who have been or are at risk of homelessness. They are identified as having low/medium support needs. You will create tailored support plans to provide practical interventions, to empower our participants to overcome personal challenges, develop life skills, and achieve their personal goals. You will also work closely in partnership with various organisations to support the different needs of our participants, which may include signposting. About the role:

You will lead and support a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet VS and Homicide Service standards and contractual requirements. You will have a passion for excellent service delivery, performance management and team welfare.

The family caseworkers provide in person support to families who have experienced the sudden and traumatic death by Homicide. The caseworkers are responsible for ensuring the needs identified are met, that each person being supported receives guidance, advise and practical support as well as emotional support and advocacy.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills essential to managing a diverse workload, and be committed to supporting the caseworkers to deliver support.

You will have excellent communication skills and will support the Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery, across a widely geographically dispersed team.

You will be prepared to travel across the geographical area including occasional overnight stays to ensure you can meet team members in person as well as online.

You will enjoy working closely with a range of stakeholders (including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers within the Major Crime teams/Coroner officers and other statutory agencies) and will have experience in building constructive working relationships.

You should be confident to deliver internal and external presentations to a wide range of audiences. You will have experience of achieving key performance indicators, as directed by the Operations managers and Deputy Head of Service.

•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to design and deliver MAP’s individual giving retention strategy. Including bespoke welcome and ongoing multi-channel supporter journeys, for UK and international supporters 
•Support the Supporter Retention Manger (Loyalty) to review individual giving retention activities and supporter journeys – developing a strategic approach and annual planning with a focus on regular giving and growing life time value

Campaign Management

We are seeking a highly organised and quick-witted Operations Officer to join our dynamic team at Spring Community Hub. As our Dementia Coordinator, you’ll lead the development and coordination of dementia-focused activities, working closely with volunteers, carers, and local partners. Your work will help create a supportive, connected community where people living with dementia feel valued and engaged.

Our Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST)  groups are where group members who are living with dementia and other cognitive impairments can participate in meaningful and stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory and mental function. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new relationships. MCST Activities include discussions, word games, quizzes, physical activities and creative and musical activities.

Our monthly Memory Cafés offers a relaxed, informal setting for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers to get together. The Memory Cafés provides a mixture of talks, information and advice, entertainment and activities

What you’ll do:

• Lead the delivery of our dementia groups including MCST sessions and our Dementia cafes, with support from volunteers.
• Work with the wider team to support your clients in accessing befriending support, social activities beyond the dementia groups and other related services.
• Build strong partnerships with local dementia services across health, social care, and the voluntary sector.
• Use and support the team of existing dementia linked volunteers and develop further recruitment and training as needed.

The Senior Direct Marketing Executive is a key role within the Acquisition & Development Team. They will be driving collaborative working as they lead on cross functional digital projects across Brand, Fundraising and more! We are looking for a digital expert who thrives in an independent working environment and who can hit the ground running to lead on email strategy, a digital fundraising audit and the projects that arise from that. They should be solutions focused, proactive, innovative and collaborative.

Location/base: This role will be based from home, but will require regular travel to London, Birmingham and other Trust locations for meetings and team days. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Reviewing, owning and implementing our Digital Fundraising Audit project – taking the actions to complete the audit, and also leading on the workstreams that come out of it.
• Leading on email strategy and becoming a super user of Marketo, our email platform, and continuously looking to optimise ways of working regarding emails.
• Leading on onward journeys and reporting on them on a regular basis.
• Working closely with the CRM Manager and Supporter Journey Manager to ensure excellent supporter experience, clear data flows and journey maps are completed for all digital campaigns.
• Developing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders – from brand marketing and web development teams to creative and paid media agencies.
• Working closely with the Acquisition Team to help us deliver detailed digital analysis of campaigns.
• Ensuring we explore new and innovative digital opportunities, while remaining compliant.
• Reforecasting income and expenditure for areas of responsibility.
• Support the wider Individual Giving & Legacy team as required, including stewardship of other donor audiences during peak seasons and campaign support as required and agreed with their team manager. 

Person Specification

Essential

• Demonstrable digital experience, particularly within a role or organisation focused on conversion and direct response
• Strong interpersonal skills, skilled at building internal and external relationships.
• Experience of analysing digital campaign performance and optimising in order to meet fundraising targets.
• Experience of email marketing and email marketing platforms.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward proactively.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to adopt the Trust’s values as your own: caring, openness and transparency, supporting the local community, involving others, and striving for excellence
• Proficient in the use of MS office applications, particularly Excel and Word. 

Desirable

• Experience of working in a digital fundraising role in a charity
• Technical experience of digital platforms
• Experience of building reports and using PowerBI
• Understanding of Fundraising regulation and statutory data compliance,
• Knowledge of Fundraising databases and customer relationship management programs
• Experience of working in a fast paced and ambitious team environment.

What we are looking for

• Someone who is skilled in delivering a person-centred and trauma-informed approach to their work
• Experience working with people in recovery from addiction, including voluntary or lived experience. We are open to a range of experiences that demonstrate understanding and empathy in this area.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social or equivalent experience in a support setting. We value transferable skills, even if gained outside of formal qualifications
• Excellent communication skills and an understanding of Customer Relationship Management systems (such as Salesforce) to ensure accurate record-keeping
