About the role

You will provide key day-to-day support to ensure the effective, high-quality delivery of programmes and training initiatives. This involves coordinating communications, managing event logistics, contributing to reporting, supporting grant administration, and maintaining digital systems. You will work closely with the Programmes team and the Training team to ensure smooth planning, implementation, and evaluation of programme activities and training.

Programmes Delivery Support (50% time)

• Provide day-to-day support to Programme Managers in delivering activities on time and within budget, including coordinating internal communication, logistics, and scheduling.

• Organise and manage training sessions, webinars, and events; support the full re-granting process from due diligence to tracking and correspondence.

• Assist with data collection and analysis, support evaluation efforts, contribute to reporting and storytelling, and help maintain accurate internal and external programme materials.

Training Delivery Support (50% time)

• Oversee the full lifecycle of training programmes, from recruitment and enrolment to delivery and follow-up, ensuring a meaningful participant experience.

• Manage and improve digital infrastructure, tools (e.g. learning management software, scheduling, forms, email platforms), session logistics, and team coordination to support efficient training delivery.

• Collect and organise participant feedback and engagement data, contribute to reporting, and troubleshoot issues while identifying opportunities to enhance systems and user experience.

Key Details

• Salary: £30,000 FTE

About the role

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the management of our current programme activities in Somaliland and Zambia. The role will lead on the management of various grants/ projects within our Somaliland and Zambia partnerships as well as strengthening our partnership approaches in these two countries. The role will be responsible for project closeout, startup of new projects secured as well as developing new funding proposals to support the aims as set out in our partnership and organisational strategies. 

About You

To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience:

Essential criteria

1. BSc or MSc in Global Health or International Relations or aligned subject
2. Relevant experience managing multiple projects (including large and complex grants/contracts) throughout the full project cycle, preferably projects delivered by consortiums
3. Relevant experience working collaboratively with partner organisations in low resource settings
4. Financial management and budgeting experience for complex multi-year, multi-partner projects
5. Experience of developing MEL strategies for large and complex programmes, including developing indicators, theories of change, learning processes
6. Experience coordinating and managing the development of successful funding proposals including institutional donors such as FCDO and the DHSC

You’ll work closely with the Fundraising Manager and wider leadership team to research opportunities, write persuasive proposals, and cultivate funder relationships to help secure long-term income for our work.

You’ll need to be highly organised, self-motivated, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills and a flair for turning data and impact stories into engaging funding applications are essential. Experience with CRM systems and understanding budgets will also be important.

This is a part-time, permanent role (2 days/14 hours per week) with hybrid and flexible working. You'll be based at either our Kingston or Mitcham office.

Desirable: Lived experience as a speaker of English as a second language or knowledge of the UK migration system, interest in digital fundraising, or previous work with volunteers.

About the role 

As Legacy & Mid-Value Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing the one-to-one aspects of our Legacy and Mid-Value supporter cultivation programmes.

Through bespoke communications, calls, events, and meetings, you'll deepen relationships with our most engaged supporters—understanding their motivations and helping them fulfil their charitable goals. 

This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in shaping and delivering meaningful supporter experiences that drive increased lifetime value and long-term loyalty to Save the Children. 

In this role, you will: 

• Personally steward a portfolio of engaged supporters through tailored one-to-one communications, including calls, letters, emails, and meetings. 

• Use supporter insight to create tailored stewardship plans that inspire legacy pledges and mid-value donations (currently £300 - £10,000 pa/). 

• Work with colleagues across Marketing, Philanthropy, Community Fundraising, Volunteering, Retail and Supporter Care to identify and cultivate potential legacy and mid-value leads. 

• Plan and deliver inspiring cultivation events, both in-person and online, to retain and grow supporter engagement. 

• Analyse and adapt stewardship approaches based on supporter feedback and performance results to maximise impact. 

• Advocate for legacy and mid-value giving across the organisation, sharing expertise and insights to strengthen our overall fundraising approach. 

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have: 

• Demonstrable expertise in supporter stewardship, ideally in Legacy and/or Mid-Value fundraising, with a focus on increasing lifetime value. 

• Proven experience building and managing impactful relationships with individual supporters, including high-quality one-to-one communications. 

• Experience delivering bespoke supporter events that inspire and build trust. 

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery. 

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders. 

• A strategic and supporter-centric mindset, with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEND Service Manager to lead on the delivery of our services for children and young people with additional needs (SEND). This includes an Afterschool Club, Weekend and School Holiday Playschemes/Teens sessions and evening youth groups.   The role is offered on a 4 day per week or 5 day per week basis with at least one Saturday a month and school holiday working.

​The role involves planning and delivering inclusive, engaging, and structured group sessions within a fun, safe, and supportive environment. You’ll be key in mentoring staff, ensuring quality service delivery and getting to know the children, young people and families we support.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Organisation

· Collaborate with the Team Leader to manage bookings and allocate places across sessions.

· Support with recruitment and line management of Group Leaders, Deputy Group Leaders, and sessional staff, working with the Head of Services and Talent Acquisition Manager.

· Develop creative, inclusive session plans in partnership with Group Leaders, ensuring activities meet the needs and interests of participants.

· Procure resources for sessions including sensory toys, arts and crafts materials, baking supplies, etc.

· Ensure session documentation and CRM records are accurately maintained.

· Maintain excellent communication with parents, carers, social workers, schools, and internal teams.

· Identify and coordinate training needs within the team, taking part in relevant professional development.

· Liaise with the Office Manager to ensure all spaces used are clean, safe, and hygienic.

· Work with the Marketing Manager to share impact stories, quotes, and photos (with appropriate consents).

Session Delivery & Quality

· Oversee the delivery of all sessions, ensuring they are age-appropriate, engaging, and meet the needs of young people with SEND.

· Supervise and coach staff during sessions, providing guidance on behaviour management and inclusion strategies.

· Ensure every session promotes fun, safety, and a sense of belonging.

· Support staff in session planning and resource management, ensuring spaces are left tidy and ready for the next use.

· Plan and coordinate meals/snacks for afterschool sessions, ensuring adherence to food hygiene standards.

· Foster independence in young people, supporting them to develop social, communication, and life skills.

· Provide hands-on support where needed, including personal care, eating and drinking, mobility, or emotional regulation.

· Implement a simple outcomes framework to measure impact and track progress.

Safeguarding, Incidents & Compliance

· Ensure all safeguarding policies and procedures are followed, maintaining a vigilant and proactive approach to child safety.

· Record all incidents and accidents using CPOMS and escalate urgent concerns appropriately to the Head of Services and Quality and/or CEO (Designated Safeguarding Lead).

· Model professional curiosity and promote a culture of safeguarding awareness ("It could happen here" mindset).

General Responsibilities
