The responsibilities of the Senior Non-Current Asset Accountant will include:

• Support the accounting for the GPA’s non-current assets including maintaining the Non-Current Asset Register
• Support the preparation of non-current asset notes, accounting policies and disclosures for inclusion in the GPA’s financial statements
• Provide information to external and internal auditors of non-current assets and associated controls, supporting the Head of Non-Current Asset Reporting in audit planning, managing fieldwork and the resolution of audit issues
• Prepare forecasts for depreciation and impairments to inform annual and medium-term planning
• Provide technical advice to business areas and finance team members on accounting and budgeting of capital and non-current asset transactions
• Support the preparation of the GPA’s dilapidations provision and associated policy, working with GPA’s commercial partner to resolve any queries or disputes
• Drive continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the non-current assets function, delivering maximum value for the GPA and ensuring robust controls are in place
• Seek out opportunities to lead/contribute to cross-government and cross-finance initiatives outside of own role
• Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness

Key Skills & Experience 

• Hold a CCAB or equivalent qualification

Role Purpose:

The Clinical Director will provide strategic clinical leadership to the Restraint Reduction Network, ensuring that all initiatives, standards, and practices align with evidence-based approaches, human rights principles, and the goal of reducing restrictive practices across education health and social care settings. This role will champion best practice, influence policy, and support the implementation of RRN Training Standards nationally and internationally.

This role will also include delivering training, audits, working on projects that reflect areas of expertise and supporting organisations to restrictive practices through six core strategies.

Role Summary

· To be the clinical lead for RRN including leading our work supporting providers to improve via the six core strategies.

· To provide clinical leadership for the RRN  Partners Programme through acting as lead RRN consultant and delivering programmes.

Job purpose

This role will underpin the operation of our fundraising and membership programmes, with a mixture of public facing interactions and focused operational, database work.

Our long-standing membership scheme is an integral part of our fundraising at Action for ME, and we are fortunate to have a generous membership base of over 3,000 loyal supporters. You will be the main point of contact for our members, ensuring they feel valued and connected to our work, as well as supporting efforts to increase our current membership.

You will also be responsible for the smooth running of crucial operational processes for our membership, trading and individual giving income streams, both during fundraising campaigns and day to day. With a commitment to continuous improvement of these systems, you will help us to increase the efficiency and quality of our stewardship, retain our donors and bring in new supporters.

Key duties

Membership

• Be the main point of contact for our members and provide high quality stewardship over the phone, by email and by letter, always ensuring consistent and high-quality communication.
• Be responsible for delivering operational tasks relating to the membership scheme and improving their efficiency. Including, but not limited to, gift importing and processing, data administration, thanking members, processing renewals and sending out renewal reminders.
• Work with the Fundraising Operations Manager and our Senior Supporter Engagement Officer to monitor the performance of the membership programme and support its growth.
• Maintenance and creation of the mailing lists for our membership magazine, InterAction.  Assist with the distribution of the magazine across all channels (post, email, audio).

Individual Giving & Trading

• Ensure that gifts are processed, recorded and thanked appropriately in a timely manner; and that database records are kept up to date, in line with fundraising data regulations.
• Assisting with the administration of our Winter and Spring raffles and Lottery programme.
• Work with the Fundraising Operations Manager and the wider team to maximise fundraising potential using data and donor insights/feedback.

Overall Purpose

As Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting RFUK’s income generation and donor engagement strategies. We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Events and Fundraising Coordinator to support the delivery of our fundraising activity, events and supporter engagement programme. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining relationship-building, organisation and delivery, and who wants to play a hands-on role in creating positive supporter experiences. You will support individual giving, community and challenge fundraising, and a programme of events that recognise and celebrate our supporters and pro bono partners.

Purpose of the job

The successful candidate will be employed as part of the Evidence Team working in a supportive, dynamic and fast-moving environment. While the post is initially funded for 1 year, there is likely to be further funding to work on projects related to water quality monitoring/modelling and nature-based solutions beyond this date. The role is to lead delivery of various projects within the Evidence Program, working closely with a variety of project partners and focusing on evidencing water quality pollution issues, identifying opportunities for pollution mitigation using nature-based treatment solutions, and monitoring their effectiveness. Projects vary from local and national scale to international collaborations.

You will undertake water quality monitoring, co-ordinate networks of citizen scientists to monitor water quality, perform dataset analysis, perform water quality modelling, and provide advice and guidance on the best nature-based solutions. This job would suit somebody with experience in monitoring water quality and/or nature-based solutions, and working with volunteers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

        Support the delivery of various projects – including constructing work plans, achieving project milestones.

· Routine maintenance of probes, water testing kits and other field equipment.

· Data inputting, analysis, presentation and visualisation using a variety of software and online tools such as Excel, ArcGIS, QGIS.

· Production of high impact verbal and written reports aimed at a range of expert and non-expert audiences.

· Undertake surface water sampling and data collection, analysis and interpretation of results, desk-based studies and project reports and recommendations.

· Coordinate stakeholders across projects and partnerships to implement/co-develop new tools/approaches to data and evidence analysis/modelling.

· Method development and support of monitoring carried out by citizen scientists.

· Delivery of other types of project work, as and when required by project or team managers.

· Work outside in a riverside environment in a variety of weather conditions.

· Work with Thames21 colleagues to develop and implement Thames21’s vision.

The Digital Hub is a critical new initiative to strengthen collaboration, knowledge-sharing and access to resources involving many organisations. It aims to be a thriving community of key actors in the child poverty space in London. 

In its first launch phase at the start of 2026, the Hub will primarily target and engage London charities, including The Childhood Trust’s charity partner network.

This one-year role builds on the creation of the Digital Hub in 2025. This role is managing the implementation, testing and optimisation of the Hub in January and February 2026, before launching to an external test user group in March for a period of a month.

This role is critical to establishing the Hub’s purpose and value, and focusing on driving signs ups, engagement and re-engagement.

The role will be to oversee the resolution of any technical or user issues, especially in the first few months of the launch, supporting senior management in measuring and reporting the success of the Hub against set KPIs for the first year, ensuring content remains relevant to the needs of users, and beginning to embed the Hub as a core component of our wider Thrive Together programme of support, partnerships and collaboration.

The Project Manager will report to the Head of Communications and Marketing and work closely with several internal team members, as well as external stakeholders and be the primary contact for the digital agency responsible for developing the Hub.
