The role
As Forward Action’s Partnerships Officer, you’ll support the Partnerships Director to build and maintain strong relationships with our partners, so we can help them achieve change on everything from climate change to refugee rights.
In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage the administration side of our partnerships, from initial contact and briefing, through proposal management, all the way to issuing contracts and drafting scopes. You’ll work across multiple projects and deadlines, managing processes, organising meetings, following up action points, and keeping accurate partnership records.
You’ll champion the partner experience and ensure we always deliver value. This includes meeting with organisations to explore their goals, and briefing colleagues on new partners’ needs. You’ll also lead on our marketing and webinar programme, coordinating plans and working with colleagues and freelancers to deliver outstanding content.

About you
You’ll have experience as an account manager or another relationship-based role in fundraising, events, sales or marketing. You might have worked in an agency or the NGO sector, but this isn’t essential.

You’ll also be proactive, process driven, and an excellent problem solver who’s always keen to improve the way we do things. IHP is recruiting a Logistics Officer to become part of our growing logistics team who coordinate the safe and responsible donation of medical products to where the needs are greatest, so that people don’t suffer needlessly from treatable illnesses.
As a Logistics Officer you will play an integral role in IHP’s work arranging the shipping of donated medicines and medical supplies, for example our essential health packs and antibiotics, ensuring their secure transportation to diaster hit and vulnerable communities such as Sudan and Gaza.

Operations Consultant – Commissioning and Procurement
Reports to: COO/Head of Grant Operations
Open to: Individual consultants or consulting firms with significant experience supporting organisations receiving and distributing public funding to strengthen processes and use of best practice.
Period: Start immediately, with aim to complete audit work by no later than August 2024.
Budget: YEF anticipates a budget of approximately £10,000 and typical day rates for consultants working for the charity range between £500-£650, depending on experience.
About the Youth Endowment Fund
The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) is a charity with a £200m endowment and a mission that matters. We exist to prevent children and young people from becoming involved in violence. We do this by funding great initiatives, finding out what works and building a movement to put this knowledge into practice.
To make this possible, YEF funds a wide range of organisations aiming to prevent young people from becoming involved in violence. This ranges from delivery organisations providing front line services to young people who need it most, evaluators working with those organisations to understand what’s working, research organisations focused on helping us deeply understand the context and problem, organisations supporting us to put this knowledge into practice, and a variety of organisations supporting our team to execute in the most effective way possible. We have several departments commissioning this work to external organisations and a variety of different processes and mechanisms to do so.
As the volume of work we commission increases across our various departments, we’re looking for an experienced individual or team to support ensuring consistency, compliance with our policies and procedures, and training across a number of different teams on best practice.
Key activities
· Conduct a thorough desk review on YEF policies and guidance, regarding our commissioning and grant management practices across our programmes, evaluation, research and change departments. Interview a subset of individuals to get a sense of their understanding and comfort with the policies. Produce a written report on how this is going, highlighting any areas where we could improve in consistency or best practice.
· Advise the delivery operations team on how they can best support teams to commission effectively, including helping to clarify roles and responsibilities and ongoing training or support needs for teams.
· If needed, suggest revisions to YEF policies, guidance or agreement templates to support greater efficiency, compliance or best practice.
· Conduct a series of trainings across our different departments to ensure staff responsible for commissioning understand YEF’s policies and best practices for distributing and managing the use of public funding.
· Create a set of public facing materials to help external organisations understand YEF policies and processes for applying for funding, as needed.
Deliverables
· Provide a written report on how YEF is doing adhering to its own policies, ensuring consistency in practice across different teams and adhering to best practice.
· Conduct 3-4 training workshops to different YEF teams, taking into account their own commissioning and grant management requirements.
· Conduct regular, informal advising sessions for a subset of individuals responsible for overseeing commissioning across the organisation.
· Produce a set of public facing guidance on YEF commissioning practice relevant for organisations navigating applications for funding.
· As needed, produce revisions to policy, internal guidance, or agreement templates.
Key requirements
· Must have significant experience of commissioning and procurement within an organisation of comparable size, preferably with organisations receiving and distributing public funding.
· Experience and proven track record working to improve policies, processes and practices within an organisation.
· Experience of charitable grant-making or research work in the UK, either as a grantee, a grant-maker, or a grant evaluator or researcher.
· A strong understanding of UK government guidelines and legal terms and conditions related to grants and contracts for services. This does not mean you need a law degree, but you must be very comfortable understanding and working with a variety of different agreement mechanisms.
· The ability to understand, collate and synthesise complex sets of information and use them to make informed recommendations.
· Ability to work independently, seeking input from relevant team stakeholders throughout.
Desired experience
· Prior experience working with a What Works Centre or other evidence-focused organisation.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our Education Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support an integrated and holistic approach to education, health and care, work under the direct supervision of an allocated teacher / senior specialist teaching assistant, support access to learning and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils in learning opportunities and to assist the teacher in providing relevant support for pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex therapeutic, medical and health needs.

Role Requirements
STL1 – Provide support for Learning Activities set by Classteacher & Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant
- To support learning activities for individual, groups or whole classes of pupils, leading activities under the direction of the teacher or Senior Teaching Assistant supporting the teacher in their delivery of lessons.
- To demonstrate our School Ethos and Pupil Charter throughout the School day.
- Holistically integrate education, health and care needs.
- Evaluate and record procedures for learning activities.
- To know individual learning targets for each pupil in the group(s) and take specific action to enable individual pupil goals be achieved.
- To attend to the general care, maintenance and storage of classroom equipment.
STL 2 – Support Children’s Development
- Observe pupils, sharing observational findings, contribute to the implementation of activities to support development.
- Actively contribute towards record-keeping particularly in respect of pupil learning, therapeutic interventions, behaviour management, child protection and any other specific programme set up for individual pupils by the teacher / Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant / Therapist.
STL 3 – Help to keep Children Safe
- Undertake annual safeguarding training.
- Adhere to the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection procedures and policies. Recording incidents pertaining to pupil safety, including for illness, accidents and incidents, accepting that Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and that ‘it could happen here’.
- Read relevant documentation / mandatory reads in relation to Keeping Children Safe In Education.
- Report any signs and indicators of possible abuse, being sensitive to the child/young person and circumstances, Identifying, report and record changes in behaviour and physical signs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced youth worker to join our Brent team. You will bring energy, compassion, and resilience to make a real change to the life chances of young people in the UK asylum system.
You will be responsible for supporting young people aged 14-25 years, enabling them to access a range of social, emotional, and practical support as they navigate the complex and challenging processes of the UK asylum system.You will help us run activities for young people at our advice hub on Wednesday evenings in Brent and run our youth group on Thursday evenings in Brent n as well as our sporting activities and trips.

About the role
The Access Project is an evidence-based, data driven intervention. Central to our programme are the ways in which we use data to ensure each of our students receives the provision they need, to learn about how we can improve our delivery and to evaluate our impact on our students’ university prospects. We have developed sophisticated monitoring and evaluation systems bringing together data from a variety of sources to track students’ progress (impact management) as well as ascertain their outcomes (impact evaluation). We collect data on our students’ academic and socio-demographic background, their participation on our programme and progress on our bespoke university readiness scales, and their academic results and university destinations. We use this data to intervene in real time when delivery goes off-course but also to understand how The Access Project programmes affect student outcomes and publicize this impact externally.
As part of the Strategy and Impact Team, the Data & Insights Lead will be responsible for ensuring all teams have the right data and to deliver and monitor our programme in a timely and effective way. They will manage, analyse, interpret, and present data and information, most of it recorded on our Salesforce system, to enhance the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by participants and ensure that the project achieves the greatest possible social impact. As one of our regionally dispersed Community Fundraiser's, you'll be joining a busy team, where you will manage relationships with our key supporters with the primary purpose of generating income across a geographical area, through community fundraising activities. Main purpose of the post
We are seeking to appoint a Business Development Coordinator to join a wider team that spearheads RUSI’s research fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Director, Research Business Development, the successful candidate will enhance the institute’s business development activities by providing administrative and coordination support for business development, contracts, and risk management. We are now looking for a Member Engagement Officer to assist a lively and talented team with all areas of Remember a Charity’s membership administration, in addition to supporting the marketing and partnerships workstreams.
This is a unique opportunity not only to help grow charitable giving, but to also work closely with those member charities (close to 200) who rely on gifts in Wills to continue their vital work.
Key Accountabilities
· To maintain and update records on Remember A Charity’s CRM database and E-Comms mailing lists for charities, legal supporters and partner organisations. To run CRM reports as required.
· To assist with the onboarding of new joiner charities and legal sector supporters.
· To use the website content management system (CMS) to build member charity and legal sector supporter online profiles; and to make any amends to these profiles and other website pages as required.
· To manage the central In-Box and respond to all enquiries or signpost to the relevant team member.
· To co-ordinate the programme of rolling annual membership renewal and new-joiner invoicing, including credit control of all invoices.
· To prepare monthly engagement report collating key activity metrics for members and legal sector supporters
· To assist with online and in person member, prospect and legal sector supporter events, including creating registration links, managing attendee information on the CRM and other events preparation and follow-up required.
· Representing Remember A Charity at key charity and legal sector exhibitions when required.
· To capture minutes from all key meetings.
· Diary management when required.

About the role
This vacancy is for a University Access Officer to work in London across up to 3 schools along with remote working. Our schools are shown on a map of The Access Project schools on our website.
The University Access Officer works with school staff at all levels, volunteers tutors, and with the rest of The Access Project’s team to ensure that the delivery of the programme is optimised.
Role responsibilities
Our schools undertake either our Gateway model, which includes mentoring and tutoring or our Accelerate model, which includes mentoring and coaching. Some Accelerate schools also have tutoring included on our Accelerate Plus model.
Depending on the model in the schools you are based in, role responsibilities will include:
- Engage with students in school and enrol them onto the programme
- Assess student progress towards being able to make successful university applications
- Upload information onto the Salesforce database (training is provided)
- Build and manage relationships with volunteers to ensure they have a positive experience of the programme
- Manage students’ relationships with volunteers through monitoring of systems, emailing and making phone calls.
- Work with school staff to ensure their cooperation and timely completion of activities contributing to the smooth running of the programme
- Chair and present at school meetings with Senior Management to report on programme progress.
- University Access Officers support the volunteering team by helping to deliver volunteer training sessions, and attending university site visits, which take place on occasional Saturdays and weekday evenings (paid time off is provided).
- Any other responsibilities reasonably deemed necessary by The Access Project’s Programme Managers or Director.
