Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We help women rebuild their lives through safe housing, access to essential services, and programmes focused on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. Our mission is to empower women to thrive in their communities and build a brighter future.

We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team. 

Key Responsibilities

The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:

Beneficiary support

·  Undertaqking key working activities including: referrals, risk assessments, support
planning

· Support beneficiaries communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that arise for them

·Take a holistic approach to support beneficiary needs, seeking and highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project level

·  Fostering a holistic approach to supporting beneficiaries needs, seeking and
highlighting opportunities for change at the individual’s and project/ organisational
level

·   Jointly developing and delivering a group programme which meets the needs of the women
and aims of the project, such as effective communication and conflict resolution

·   Developing individual key work plans alongside the beneficiary and offering them
appropriate support to implement them

·  Supporting the beneficiaries to access voluntary work, extra-curricular activities and
educational courses

Reporting and Compliance

· Verbal and written handover to other staff

· Use on call if needed in an emergency

·  Ensure our monitoring system Lamplight is up to date

· Complete online training

· Gather data for monitoring and evaluation

Person Specification

Our uncompromisable support services are wide-ranging and bespoke to each family.  We provide symptom management, end-of-life care, post-death care, short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and more.

We support families across a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts. We have free secure on-site parking for families, staff and volunteers to use. 

Every year we need to raise £6.7m to keep our doors open and only around 17% of our income comes from government sources, the rest must be raised through fundraising activity.

The role: Counsellor

To work as part of our Family Support Team providing holistic and therapeutic support to children and young people under the care of Bluebell Wood as well as family members experiencing anticipatory grief or bereavement. Our bereavement offer also extends to those families referred to us via external partnerships where children and young people have died suddenly and unexpectedly.

 The requirements:

You will be a counsellor qualified to level 4 (minimum) with at least 2 years post-qualification experience. You will meet the BACP competencies to work with children, young people and adults.

To fulfil the role effectively you will be a creative and resilient person and able to work collaboratively with your team.

You will have experience of working with children and families who have complex needs, offering support packages that meet their individual requirements.

Working Well Trust is a specialist employment charity in London.  All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.

We are recruiting for a Peer Employment Worker to join the Tower Hamlets Mental Health Employment Service.

Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training around employment support and in supporting people with mental health issues.  As this is a Peer role applicants must have lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact. 

You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. You must be willing to share your experience of mental health and employment to support clients to address their concerns about employment and to support them to develop strategies to support them sustaining work.  Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace.  Experience of pre-employment support such as CV and application writing, and interview practice is desirable.

The role we are recruiting for is as follows: 

One Full Time: 35 hours per week - we offer flexible working which for this role is three days on site in our office in Bethnal Green and two days working from home.

You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences, to access training, education and volunteering opportunities. You will use a client led/person centred support approach.

You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.

Purpose

Programme Assistant to support coordination of capacity building and training for Emergency Medical Teams, and humanitarian and academic partners.

The key objective of UK-Med’s training and capacity building capability is to work with colleagues, members, partners, stakeholders and national health staff to strengthen response skills in order to enable Emergency Medical Teams and wider health services to be better prepared for emergencies. Main Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver a structured programme of enjoyable, recreational, high-quality activities to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs and disabilities who attend Short Breaks clubs.
• To coordinate and take responsibility for the planning, allocation of places, and sufficient staffing to ensure safe delivery of Short Breaks clubs.
• To assist in the recruitment, training and ongoing development of the Disability staff team.
• Leadership and Line Management of a team of Play/Youth Workers and volunteers.
• Have responsibility for processing new referrals, initial assessments, individual care plans and any associated risk assessments or specialist plans to ensure we meet individual needs.
• To be the lead practitioner providing the staff team with advice, coaching and on-site management of club structure.
• To develop strategies and behavioural support plans for young people attending activities and access YMCA Disability Services.
• To be aware of Ofsted requirements and ensure Short Breaks clubs for children are compliant, with ongoing monitoring.
• Maintain and monitor agreed attendance levels and activity budget.
• To promote clubs and share stories via social media. Manage cohort numbers and waiting lists efficiently. 
• Lead in Administering medication, PEG feeds and undertaking movement and handling for children and young people with complex health needs. Undergo relevant training and transfer this knowledge onto the staff team.
• Work closely with individual children and young people and their families to identify a range of social, recreational and leisure activities to meet the needs of young people and children.
• Ensure that all young people are made to feel valued and enabled to develop and improve self-esteem, life skills, self-confidence and positive experiences
• To gain young people’s feedback, capturing their voice in shaping and evaluating future club sessions.
• Work closely as part of the delivery team, initiate programmed activities, alongside additional opportunities locally.
• To be responsible for the Health and Safety of children, young people and staff, above all, ensuring that Safeguarding Children and Safeguarding Adults at Risk policies are adhered to.
• Managing the venue, ensuring all risk assessments are completed in line with our policies to ensure the environment is safe, secure and suitable for staff, CYP and our service delivery.
• Provide information, guidance and advice for parent/carers about local services for young people and families.
• Attend and participate in relevant internal/external meetings and forums related to the CYP services activities.
• To provide operational Coordinator or Leader cover for other Disability Services or locations as required.
• Design and deliver training sessions to CYP staff.
• To undertake the role of Duty Officer at the Sovereign Centre, at times to be agreed with Disability Services Manager.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities reasonably requested by the Disability Services ManagerTop of Form.

We have an opportunity for a Press Officer to join our Communications Team in Basingstoke.

This is a full time permanent role where you'll have a mix of home and office working.

The starting salary is £46,000 - £56,000 depending on experience.

The Role:

As a Press Officer at SNG you'll be managing the organisation's press office activities. This is a crucial role where you'll be leading on national and regional media campaigns and issues, to raise our profile and ultimately support us to build more affordable homes and provide an excellent service to our customers.

You will be responsible for managing our reputation in the media and minimising negative coverage, as well as managing relationships with journalists and senior stakeholders within the business.

You'll build SNG's reputation by developing high-profile relationships and telling great stories, creating content for national, local and online media to help SNG to achieve its business and social objectives.

This is a fast paced role where you'll be managing multiple priorities, and you'll be supported by a friendly and dedicated team. There will be some out of hours working required in this role.

What we need from you:

Previous experience as a Press Officer. We are open to different backgrounds and sectors but a knowledge of housing associations or adjacent sectors, such as development, would be an advantage. 

The ability to work with media outlets and create content in collaboration with colleagues that protects SNG's reputation. 

We are looking for:

• A proactive approach to working with colleagues to find the organisation's best stories
• Experience in successfully crafting compelling and newsworthy press releases that attract media attention
• Strong experience of crisis management and responding appropriately to protect the company's reputation
• The ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and media outlets
• Strong copywriting skills and the ability to edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy and consistency
• The ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
