Job description

Senior Manager, Community Wellbeing Services, Catalyst Support

Location - Based at Nankeville & Hybrid - with regular presence across community sites, partner organisations and Catalyst locations

Salary - £41,000 - £45,000 p.a. FTE

We are so pleased to be partnering with Catalyst Support to help them find a Senior Manager, Community Wellbeing Service, this is a newly shaped senior leadership role with real opportunity to influence how community support is delivered across Surrey.

As one of Surrey's leading wellbeing charities, Catalyst works alongside individuals and communities to improve mental, physical and emotional health, creating accessible support that changes lives and strengthens local communities. Guided by kindness, integrity and collaboration, they are now looking for an ambitious and values-led Senior Manager to lead an important portfolio of community wellbeing services. At Catalyst Support, they believe that wellness is a right, not a privilege.

Leading a portfolio that includes Community Connections, Safe Haven and Counselling services, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple services, ensuring they are connected, high-quality and responsive to local need. More than service management, this role is about creating a genuinely joined-up approach to community wellbeing, shaping pathways, building partnerships and ensuring people can access the right support at the right time.

You'll work closely with the Director of Services and wider leadership team to embed a "One Catalyst" approach, bringing services together around a shared vision and operating model. You'll also play a pivotal role externally, developing relationships across the VCSE sector, statutory services and local communities, ensuring Catalyst remains a trusted and influential partner across Surrey.

They are looking for an experienced leader with a background in community services, mental health, social care, wellbeing or related fields. You'll bring experience of leading teams and services in complex environments, strong safeguarding expertise and a track record of building meaningful partnerships that improve outcomes for people and communities.

Equally important is your leadership style. You'll be someone who can hold strategic oversight whilst remaining visible and connected to frontline delivery. You'll enjoy working collaboratively, navigating complexity and supporting teams through change with clarity, empathy and purpose.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established senior manager who is passionate about community wellbeing and wants to shape services that truly make a difference.

If you're a strategic and collaborative leader who believes in the power of community-based support, we'd love to hear from you. Whether you're currently leading wellbeing, mental health, social care or community services, this is an opportunity to shape a connected, innovative portfolio that improves lives across Surrey.

To apply, please submit your CV and the 3 questions that are downloadable on a separate document. (You can download the documentation when you click on 'Apply Now' button.) If you'd like an informal conversation about the role before applying, please contact Abi at Charity People.
