Key responsibilities of the role:

We are seeking an organised, data-driven, and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer to support the delivery of high-quality fundraising campaigns that inspire new and existing supporters to give. This role will be a key part of our Philanthropy team, working on securing funding from charitable trusts and foundations with the capacity to give up to £30,000. The Philanthropy team is highly regarded, consistently bringing in over half of our organisation's total voluntary income.
You'll research, identify and drive forward new income opportunities, maintain relationships with existing donors and ensure our supporters have an excellent experience through giving to us. You'll deliver high quality, written applications and reports to trusts and foundations, in line with funder deadlines and keep in touch with donors and prospects via phone, virtually and in face-to-face meetings and visits.

The Role
As Philanthropy Manager you will play a key role in generating funds and lead on the high value relationship strategy. Duties will include:

Turner’s House is a small independent museum in Twickenham housed in a Grade II* listed building, open to the public since 2017. This is a key role in helping secure its long-term sustainability. We are seeking an excellent communicator and strategic fundraiser who is creative, resilient, and highly motivated. The Head of Philanthropy will play a key role in shaping and delivering sustainable income growth through individual giving, and major donor engagement—ensuring our work is resourced for the long term.
The post-holder will report to the Strategic Director of Fundraising & Development, deputising as required, and will line manage the Development Administrator. This role is predominantly based at Leeds Playhouse with some scope for hybrid working, complementing the Strategic Director role (a part-time role, mostly working remotely).
This is a permanent, full time contract. We would like to fill a requirement for 35 hours per week, which is full-time for this role, with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required. However, we are open to hearing from people interested in part-time work or job sharing. Pay for the role is £35,700 per year based on 35 hours per week.
