Job description

Urgent Projects is a charity based in London, whose role is to support people and institutions of Ukraine during its war with Russia. 

The scope of ​​activity of the Foundation is the support of restoration and development projects in the fields of medicine and education. It also includes providing the population of Ukrainian territories with food, clothing, medicaments, medical equipment and other essentials during the active phase of the war. 

As Fundraising and Development Manager, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing the fundraising strategies to support the Foundation’s priorities. You will lead on major donor, corporate, and trusts & foundations fundraising, work to identify opportunities to diversify Urgent Foundation’s fundraising portfolio, and closely work with the CEO of the Foundation to network and strengthen relationships with current and prospective donors.

The successful candidate will bring significant fundraising experience and expertise and will have skills to develop various fundraising streams. They will need great personal dynamism and the ability to win support for Urgent Foundation’s cause and have experience of developing and implementing a strategic fundraising plan and the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholder groups with tact, diplomacy, and great personal warmth.
