We’re looking for an interim Head of International High Value Fundraising, who will take the lead on high value fundraising for our international work, ensuring our work can impact dogs and their owners across the world.

What does this role do?
As Head of International High Value Fundraising, you'll:

• lead the International High Value Fundraising team, providing direction and day-to-day leadership to inspire and support the team in cultivating transformational giving. Motivate and empower colleagues to unlock major opportunities in the United States and strengthen our approach in other regions.
• partner with other fundraising teams across Dogs Trust and our international partners, World Veterinary Service and Mission Rabies, to enhance and align global philanthropy strategies. Identify and pilot innovative approaches to generating significant new income and building long-term, sustainable partnerships.
• personally manage a portfolio of high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, foundations, and major donors, leading on all aspects of relationship management, from prospect identification and tailored proposal development to bespoke stewardship and long-term engagement that secures six-, seven-, and eight-figure gifts,
• represent Dogs Trust internationally, strengthening our global profile and cultivating relationships that increase awareness of, and secure substantial philanthropic support for, our international programmes.

Trinity delivers specialist end-of-life and palliative care at the Hospice and in the community as well as support and counselling services for family and friends. The Compton team deliver transformative funding results allowing the hospice to deliver outstanding care to patients and their families. ABOUT THE ROLE

Currently corporate income at Trinity averages £150-200k per annum and incorporates a small local business supporters programme, corporate sponsorship of hospice events or services and several larger corporate partnerships. The Corporate Partnerships Manager is a newly created role and they will work to increase income from corporate and business partners over the next 3 years. They will develop a strategy for growing this important area of fundraising and execute it. 

The successful candidate will build on what has been achieved to date to enhance our corporate offering, which will include engaging more businesses through the Local Business Heroes programme, working in partnership with other departments of the hospice to facilitate corporate volunteering and visits. They will work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator and Head of Philanthropy and Events to secure sponsorship for key events such as the RTH Gala Dinner, Dinner and Quiz, Opera at the Hospice, Light up A Life and others underpinning their financial success. In addition, we will look to the new Manager to enhance and develop our current offering. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will be supported by a small team of Fundraising Executives as required and report to the Head of Fundraising.

·Lead on developing and implementing an ambitious corporate fundraising strategy for our client to increase income to  £300k+ over the next three years.

·Manage and grow our existing corporate partnerships, retaining relationships where possible and increasing income.

Experience, knowledge, skills, and characteristics

Required:

·At least two years of corporate fundraising or corporate relationship management experience.

·A strong track record in managing corporate fundraising promotion and relationship management to achieve sustainable growth.

·An interest and understanding of the importance of corporate support for a local hospice or other charitable organisation. 

·A passion for fundraising and aligning with a corporate’s CSR / ESG goals to create meaningful change.

·Excellent relationship management and donor stewardship skills, with the ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and other key stakeholders.

·Experience of running a variety of campaigns, events or products and monitoring budgets.

·Well-organised, and confident in planning and executing activities.

We’re looking for a Trusts Officer to join our dynamic Fundraising Team to contribute towards securing vital income from charitable trusts and foundations across the UK.

Working closely with the Trusts Manager, you’ll develop and submit compelling funding proposals, build strong relationships with new and existing supporters and ensure the highest standards of donor care. You’ll also help maintain accurate records, collaborate across teams, and contribute to achieving ambitious income targets.

We’re looking for an ambitious and strategic Head of Fundraising to lead the acceleration of Lift Schools’ comprehensive fundraising strategy and scale a proven fundraising income stream that supports our ambitious mission and long-term growth.

The Executive Director has overall responsibility for TOLFA UK’s fundraising, financial management, marketing and communications, and personnel, to implement its mission of providing vital and preventative healthcare to India’s ownerless animals and those belonging to low-income owners, as well as educating communities in their welfare and value 

Initially  a salary of £19,000 per year for 24 hours per week; both the hours and salary could potentially increase based on the organisation’s income and financial assets

Responsibilities 

• Proactively diversify and sustainably increase TOLFA UK’s fundraising, such as: 

• Submitting grant proposals and reports to trusts and foundations 

• Cultivating individual donors and major donors 

• Using TOLFA UK’s donor database to raise funds more effectively 

• Collaborate with the Board of Trustees to develop the strategy of TOLFA UK, which will include becoming a more impactful organisation with increasing revenue and additional staff 

• Provide the vision and leadership to ensure the implementation of TOLFA UK’s strategy 

• Maintain excellent communication with the Board of Trustees, including providing monthly reports 

• Lead, motivate, and evaluate other staff, freelancers or consultants of TOLFA UK 

• Oversee TOLFA UK’s finances, collaborate with a bookkeeper to create and monitor budgets and ensure strong financial controls are in place, and promptly notify the Board of Trustees of any concerns. Lead on oversight of processes such as submission of year end accounts with third party accountancy partners. 

• Liaise with TOLFA India, including to understand their funding needs and obtain content for communications and fundraising 

• Manage TOLFA UK’s public communications, such as enquiries from the public and the media 

• Fill other roles and complete additional tasks as needed
