We are looking for someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic to join our Supporter Care team, who will carry out essential supporter engagement and administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials. With previous experience of providing excellent customer service, you will have the ability and confidence to communicate with a variety of people, engaging with supporters by phone, email and in writing about a wide range of enquiries.

The Supporter Care team at Alzheimer’s Research UK is often the first point of contact in the charity for supporters, potential donors and members of the public. The Supporter Care Administrator works alongside five other team Executives handling supporter enquiries, processing donations, and thanking supporters to ensure an excellent standard of customer care and to generate the maximum amount of income for dementia research. This role reports to the Senior Supporter Care Officer (SSCO) and ensures that the team successfully deliver an efficient and a first-class supporter experience for the charity.

This role will be known internally as Supporter Care Executive.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Supporter engagement

· Answering inbound telephone calls; responding to a wide range of enquiries including marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.

· Managing email enquiries, either by responding or forwarding as necessary.

· Responding to written enquiries received in the post.

· Making outbound telephone calls in order to increase the value of, or to retain supporters; including thanking, obtaining Gift Aid declarations and reactivating lapsed donors.

· Recording feedback received by the charity and assisting in the resolution of complaints.

· Champion high quality supporter care, ensuring that all supporters and members of the public have an excellent experience when contacting the charity.

Donation processing, database and general administration

· Processing donations from telephone calls and mailings, acknowledging supporters appropriately.

· In Memoriam giving; sending out materials, processing donations and sending appropriate acknowledgements to donors, Funeral Directors, and the Next of Kin.

· Regular giving; processing new Direct Debit instructions and Standing Order payments, amending and cancelling gifts as necessary.

· Processing and thanking donations relating to regional fundraising and sporting events.

· Ensuring the integrity of the database (currently Salesforce), by amending supporter details as necessary.

· Opening and batching incoming post.

· Updating team procedures as required.

· Archiving, scanning and filing documents.

Other duties

· To take personal responsibility for ensuring a good working knowledge of Alzheimer’s Research UK when communicating with supporters. This will require attendance at marketing campaign briefings and other staff presentations and continuously building knowledge by taking the time to read daily news summaries, press releases and the staff intranet.

· To recognise fundraising, engagement and retention opportunities when communicating with supporters using a range of initiatives to explain how donations positively contribute towards the cause.

· To actively and enthusiastically promote supporter care at Alzheimer’s Research UK and be willing to take part in various initiatives to help maintain this such as department updates and trainings and being involved in inducting new starters to Alzheimer’s Research UK on the work of the Supporter Care team.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Location: Home based - within a commutable distance of London as there will be a requirement for fortnightly travel to the Chelsea & Westminster Clinic and with additional occasional travel across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Shine’s Health Team 

Shine’s Health Team provides condition-specific health advice and support to people of all ages with spina bifida, hydrocephalus, NPH or IIH, promoting good self-management and enabling our members to live in optimum health.  The Team also aims to reduce the numbers of pregnancies affected by spina bifida and anencephaly through education around supplementation and fortification with folic acid, and other measures. 

Purpose of Job 

The Shine Nurse Specialist will deliver services and create resources to improve the health of Shine’s members, by informing members, their carers and professionals 

Principal Duties 

• To provide ad hoc advice to Shine’s members, their carers  and professionals on complex health issues, and signpost to NHS services 

• To attend and represent Shine at the Chelsea & Westminster Spina Bifida Clinic

• To collect information, statistics and research from a variety of sources to inform Shine’s health projects 

• To create resources to inform and support members’ health 

• To develop training/information resources for professionals 

• To plan and deliver projects, events, presentations and information sessions for members and professionals 

• To provide an information resource for Shine staff 

• To form and engage with networks of health professionals 

• To represent Shine at events and meetings 

• To work closely with the Health Research & Information Coordinator to produce and disseminate health information to Shine members and the general public 

Skills and Experience

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our dynamic fundraising team. The Sutton Trust is at an exciting point in our organisational journey, with a new Chairperson and ambitions to significantly grow our impact and fundraising as part of our 2030 strategy.

Over the past five years the impact of the Sutton Trust has increased, especially in our programme numbers, securing a relatively stable income of c.£6m over a number of years. In recent years this has grown to c.£7m, and our organisational strategy to 2030/31 will continue this fundraising trajectory to increase income to £12m. With corporate income accounting for nearly half our fundraising, there is considerable enthusiasm and opportunity in the corporate world for building strategic partnerships with The Sutton Trust.

Our fundraising approach will continue to focus on major gifts and strategic multi-year partnerships, leveraging a range of drivers to secure corporate support. We have a strong portfolio of existing supporters primarily from the legal, banking, and finance sectors, and our strategy involves expanding our reach into other sectors to support increased social mobility in UK businesses.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will join a small and high-performing Corporate Partnerships team, taking over a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects at our ‘consortium’ partner level, ranging from £10k-£50k per annum.

You will identify, engage, secure, and steward corporate partner prospects from sectors that include law, construction, manufacturing and logistics, as well as supporting other team members across different sectors as the need arises. The existing portfolio of partners are primarily legal firms who also engage with our impactful programmes, and you will also have personal and team new business targets and support senior team members to steward our flagship partners.

We are looking for a fundraiser who is keen to develop their corporate fundraising skills, especially building relationships with delivery partners, strategic funders, and corporate foundations. Our ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, a confident communicator, and able to work independently under their own initiative as well as within the team.

The role will be line managed by the Head of Corporate Partnerships, working closely with other members of the Corporate Partnerships team, and collaboratively across the wider Development team and Employability Programmes team. 

Main duties

New business

• Personally scope, develop and secure new corporate partnerships at consortium level (£10k-£50k), aiming for a robust portfolio of partners in assigned sectors with multi-year commitments, working with the Head of Corporate Partnerships and other relevant stakeholders to appropriately to secure and steward.
• Support the Head of Corporate Partnerships to engage in proactive new business development within the corporate sector, including support for network mapping with senior volunteers.
• Manage writing and submission of reports and proposals for grants to corporate foundations, working alongside other Development team and wider organisation members to ensure high-quality submissions.
• Alongside team members, manage the shared Development inbox to ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a prompt, consistent, and friendly manner.
• Follow all relevant policies and processes to ensure due diligence is completed for all prospective donors, account management plans are kept up to date, and corporate partners receive high-quality stewardship.

Account Management and Development

• Manage and grow the portfolio of ‘consortium’ level corporate partnerships, including leveraging existing relationships to maximise financial income and partnership longevity.
• Support senior team members on designated high-value partnerships, including specific administrative and project tasks, e.g. coordinating meetings and webinars, attending programme visits, event invites, and volunteering opportunities.
• Write and deliver engaging and high-quality partnership proposals and reports for new and existing ‘consortium’ level funders, working with the wider Development team and relevant other Sutton Trust teams as appropriate.
• Be accountable for achieving agreed corporate income targets, looking for opportunities to grow funding and diversify corporate income.

Fundraising, Finance and Reporting

• Act as an ambassador for the Trust with external audiences in the corporate space, representing the Trust with confidence and enthusiasm to secure major gifts and develop relationships.
• Ensure the Trust’s CRM (Salesforce), account management plans, and all relevant income pipeline documents are kept appropriately up to date with activity from corporate partners, including accurate income forecasting.
• Attend appropriate meetings, such as the Employer Working Group, to represent the corporate team and portfolio of partners, and share information with colleagues across the Trust.
• Work with colleagues to support delivery of impactful events to cultivate prospects and steward partners, with a focus on experience for corporate partners and prospects.
• Appropriately follow policies and procedures on due diligence, Salesforce and data management, account management, stewardship, and reporting.
• Stay up to date with corporate fundraising best practice, learning from senior members of the corporate team, and keep abreast of developments and opportunities within the wider fundraising space.

Person Specification

Skills and experience

• Experience building and managing relationships to achieve a project or other goals

• Knowledge of fundraising in the education and/or not-for-profit sector or can demonstrate relevant experience of corporate account/relationship management (this can be from outside fundraising - for example sales, marketing, leadership roles within voluntary organisations)

Terms of Appointment

• Contract: Full time, permanent
• Salary: £31,000-£35,000 per annum
• Office location: The Sutton Trust, 9th Floor, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP. Our home working policy gives staff the option to work from home for up to 60% of the time, with approval from their line manager.
• Hours: The standard working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. This role is likely to also be required to attend events / meetings outside of normal working hours during weekday evenings and occasionally at weekends, in line with organisational policies.

We are looking for an Executive Assistant to provide support to the CEO and Board of Trustees, as well as adding administrative capacity and office management function to the Staff Team. This is an integral role that requires a diligent, detail oriented individual, with a passion for the vision of Prison Fellowship.

Our mission is to show Christ's love to people in prison by coming alongside them and supporting them. We run a number of programmes, including Angel Tree, Sycamore Tree, Letter Link and Pastoral Care.

This position is 35 hours per week across five days. This role is based in our office in London (SW1). We are open to discussions about flexibility, including hybrid working.

We are now looking to expand our Fundraising and Devlopment team in this newly created role. You will have relevant experience likely to have been gained over 1 to 3 years working in fundraising, supporter engagement, or a similar role within a charity or not-for-profit organisation. You must be confident using CRM systems such as Donorfy or similar, and in writing donor communications. Our team is passionate about the work we do and it is crucial that you have a genuine interest in the role fundraising plays in the charity sector as well as a resonance with our cause.

About the role

· Assist the Fundraising department in planning and delivering national and large-scale fundraising activities.

· Assist the Individual Giving Manager in the coordination and delivery of fundraising campaigns and initiatives including our annual Christmas Appeal, ensuring they are executed effectively and efficiently.

· Support the delivery of digital fundraising activities in line with the Fundraising Strategic Framework.

· Support the administration of the individual giving fundraising programme in collaboration with the wider team.

· Assist the Head of High Value and Individual Giving Manager to administer donor support communications.

· Ensure all donors are thanked in a timely manner via e-mail and letters and accurately recorded on our CRM.

· Maintain and update supporter and donor records within the CRM database ensuring they are accurate.

· Support the refinement of systems and processes to enhance donor experience.

· Serve as the first point of contact for Community Fundraising, including emailing and posting fundraising packs and providing fundraising guidance and advice.

· Maintain and develop our low to mid-level Trust and Foundation income, delivering applications and reporting using our Case for Support.

· Respond to general enquiries received over the phone and through the fundraising and general enquires inboxes.

· Liaise closely with colleagues across the charity to support the development of fundraising collateral and materials for fundraising activities.

This is an ambitious project by Inner Forth Futures (IFF) - a collaboration of 9 organisations, who have committed to work together with advisory organisations, stakeholders and community groups to achieve a shared vision. The Inner Forth Futures vision is that the sense of connection, purpose and place that put the Inner Forth at the forefront of the industrial development of Scotland will be revitalised. We aim to achieve this using a landscape scale approach with heritage at its core to engage people in new ways in the Inner Forth’s management.

The Climate FORTH project began delivery in August 2023 and will run until November 2026 to contribute significantly to delivering our vision. Climate FORTH is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and a range of co-funders.

The project will support a move to a greener future and post-pandemic recovery and generate opportunities to share learning, influence adaption and inspire the change needed to transition to a climate-resilient landscape in the Inner Forth and beyond. In this Project Officer role you will support project delivery by leading business and tourism sector engagement activity that supports the delivery of our sustainable tourism activities.

This will include the following activities;

• Facilitating the use of a Visitor Giving Scheme across the landscape - an opportunity for those benefitting and enjoying the local heritage of the Inner Forth to invest and enhance.
• Develop and deliver the ‘Round the Forth passport scheme’ to encourage locals and visitors alike to engage with heritage sites in the landscape.
• Facilitating the creation of car free itineraries and signage for heritage attractions in the Inner Forth.
• Setup and delivery of a series of events at lesser-known heritage sites and ‘visiteering’ opportunities (volunteer sessions for visitors) to promote local tourism and support the economic resilience of local businesses.
• Engaging local businesses with a created ‘Tourism Toolkit’ - designed to provide information on the local area, its heritage assets and offering resources to promote walking/cycling tourism.
• Setup and delivery of Tourism and Hospitality Business Upskilling sessions promoting the Tourism Toolkit, including familiarisation trips, talks from industry specialists and networking.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in the business engagement and/or tourism sector. You will be supported by the Climate FORTH Project Manager, Steering Group and Board but you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work independently and to demonstrate your own initiative.

The post will be based at the RSPB Skinflats Reserve near Falkirk, with flexibility to work part of the week from home and occasional weekend and evening work. The role will include regular travel around the Inner Forth to businesses and sites.

Additional responsibilities include supporting the Project Manager with elements of grant reporting and contributing to internal and external communications.

Essentials:

• Experience of business engagement and / or working with the tourism sector.
• Knowledge of a range of techniques for promoting heritage or sustainable tourism.

The Finance & Governance team handle all matters concerning Diocesan and Cathedral finance including the administration and collection of parish share, paying invoices and expenses, budgeting, annual statutory, management accounts, clergy stipends, staff salaries, advice to parishes on parochial finance matters. 

This role covers the full range of work in an accounting system dealing with input to and output from all ledgers with specific responsibility for the administration of parish shares and fees including the issuing of regular statements to parishes. The purpose is to ensure that the accounting system has accurate and timely financial data which is available to those who require it either for decision-making or for external reports and accounts.

Turning Tides is a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in West Sussex. While our central office is in Worthing, our work spans the county – from East Grinstead to Littlehampton and across areas in between. With over 20 accommodation projects, community hubs and outreach teams, we offer local single adults tailored support to move towards a more stable future. We strongly believe in addressing the root causes for homelessness, so our specialist teams support in areas such as mental health, substance misuse, tenancy sustainment, IT skills, employment guidance and much more. 

The Fundraising team is small but mighty. We shape and support the raising of funds for Turning Tides, by inspiring compassion for people facing homelessness and aim to engage supporters through powerful storytelling. From supporting and creating fundraising events, engaging with community groups, corporate clients and providing 1:1 stewardship with donors we aim to spread the word of our mission to the wider community, inspiring people to take action in support of those who are impacted by homelessness. About the role

The Fundraising Officer will work closely with the Fundraising Manager on a wide range of tasks, ensuring our messages reach the right people in the right way. This could include giving talks at local community groups such as schools and churches, delivering fundraising, stewardship of fundraisers and donors. This role will include weekend and evening work to support our fundraising events.

The successful candidate will join our busy Governance team, reporting to the Head of Governance and working closely within a core team of two officers and two senior officers. 

As a Senior Governance Officer, you will provide high quality governance support to the senior executive, Board and Committees as well as other stakeholders across the Fund engaging pro-actively with other teams and stakeholders across the Fund.  You will have a good understanding of governance in the public or voluntary/charity sector and be able to quickly familiarise yourself with the Fund’s complex governance framework.  You will be expected to use your knowledge and judgment to provide prompt and high-quality advice and feedback. 

You will show leadership in identifying, implementing, and maintaining effective governance processes and best practice, bringing changes where needed. 

A team player you will take pride in your work and the work of the Governance team. 

Day to day responsibilities will include:

A major change project has taken place over the last few years to transform our IT systems and support. We have moved to a cloud solution based on Microsoft 365. To support our internal IT roles, we are supported by a managed service provider who are providing ongoing day-to-day support for all our IT users.

This is an exciting role that will play a key part in the delivery of Cranstoun’s IT and digital strategy. You will support the delivery of major business systems projects and support the day-to-day work of the IT team.
