About the role

This role will support both the Finance Officer and Customer Sales Manager to ensure timely collection of membership subscription income and provide customer support to Coram PACEY members. You will address customer queries quickly, accurately, and confidently over a variety of communication methods (phone, email, social media and text chat services), requesting and recording all required information in line with processes and procedures. You will effectively help maintain the Sales Ledger and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database through; the processing of income from sales of membership, recording income data within the CRM and in Coram PACEY’s financial systems. You will promote, sell and process membership, services, and products.

Bipolar UK is the only national charity dedicated to supporting individuals affected by bipolar, including carers and families. We're launching an exciting new lottery-funded project in Northern Ireland to expand our peer support network.

As Senior Volunteer Co-ordinator, you’ll play a central role in growing and supporting our network of local support groups. Overview and key points on the role  | Rape Crisis South London is looking for 2 part time skilled, passionate and professional Caseworkers who will be based within the Advocacy Service.  As a Caseworker you will support clients through their journey through the housing and benefits system by providing practical and emotional support to survivors of sexual violence.  You should have a good working knowledge of Housing processes and Welfare benefits systems with experience of carrying out assessments and completing applications.  In addition to having excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills you should also be able to develop key relationships with external agencies such as the local authority.   You should have demonstrable experience working with survivors of sexual violence and of working in a trauma-informed way. In this key role you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Negotiating Officer to manage and support our stewards, safety and equality representative networks across West Midlands and part of Cheshire, advising them in providing individual and collective industrial relations support to members, working both in and outside of the NHS. You will also be expected to spend approximately 25% of your time, managing cases from across the UK, but predominantly from nearby regions.

The postholder will work in collaboration with other health trade unions across the region.

You will work with the CSP regional team to recruit and organise members, influence on local workforce issues and promote physiotherapy.

You will provide representation for members at disciplinary hearings, grievances and disputes with employers, and provide general advice and information to representatives and members on issues such as pay, terms and conditions, and employment legislation.

With significant trade union experience at a senior level, and an understanding of NHS structures and government policy on health, you will have excellent communication, negotiation, training and presentational skills, combined with a strong collaborative approach and a thorough understanding of, and commitment to, equality and diversity principles and the ability to put them into practice.

Are you a trusted Arabic-speaking adviser with strong community links? We’re looking for someone with experience, empathy, and an existing client base to help us launch a dedicated advice service for Arabic-speaking residents in West London.

You’ll lead on providing tailored advice and support to Arabic-speaking individuals and families, focusing on the most urgent needs in the community — from housing and welfare to digital skills and healthy living. Main duties:

 

· Deliver a bilingual advice, information and support service in Arabic and English to members of racially minoritised communities in Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring boroughs, with a focus on housing, utilities, energy saving, welfare benefits, employability, healthy lifestyles, support for disabled people and carers, basic digital literacy skills, and related issues (NOT including medical, legal, or immigration-related advice)  

· Provide non-regulated money guidance (NOT including financial advice services regulated by the FCA) after appropriate training

· Signpost or refer clients to other service providers as appropriate

· Maintain individual files on all clients and all action taken, using Advice Pro software

· Undertake appropriate training

· Provide digital literacy training or support to service users through workshops and/or one-to-one instruction, after appropriate training

· Arrange and facilitate workshops for service users, where applicable

· Work cooperatively with other staff and volunteers

· Produce regular updates on work for the Director / Deputy Director and the Management Committee

· Participate in supervisions, performance appraisals, file reviews, and internal meetings

The Role

The Senior Evidence Officers sit within the Evidence Team and involve leading highly impactful evidence synthesis projects. These projects contribute to the Toolkit – a suite of tools aimed at distilling the best available evidence and embedding evidence into policy and practice. Key responsibilities will include:

• Evidence scoping reviews
• Critical appraisal of intervention evaluations
• Designing and quality-assuring externally commissioned systematic reviews
• Producing evidence-based guidelines
• Conducting fast-paced evidence synthesis for policy stakeholders

About You

With an MSc or equivalent master's degree in research methods, education, public health, health sciences, social sciences (or other relevant field of research), you will have  experience in: project management, delivering research/analytical complex projects at quality, establishing appropriate governance with multiple, diverse stakeholders.

You will also have:

• Significant knowledge of high-quality impact evaluation methodology with a rounded understanding of evaluation design
• Capability to work successfully and independently in a multi-disciplinary team
• Skill and experience in designing and commissioning research
• Advanced knowledge and experience of systematic literature review and evidence synthesis
• An understanding of government, the wider policy making community, and how to effect change in policy making and practice, with excellent knowledge of one or more relevant policy or practice areas
