Job Purpose
The role of the Central Charity is to facilitate member support and the successful operation of the Charity, lead strategic objects that work to ensure the longevity and sustainability of the global movement and to support the delivery of impactful work in communities that meet our aims. Like many membership organisations, we need to focus on turning membership decline into membership growth. This role is an integral part of an exciting opportunity to change and secure the future of the movement. 2026 is our 150th Anniversary, a year to celebrate and focus on growing the movement in Britain and Ireland.
The post holder will work directly with members and support the rest of the Membership Team. Focus will be on managing membership using our new CRM, supporting membership, faith and programme enquiries, initiatives, and operational delivery, supporting Communities of Interest (our member-based forums),
Main responsibilities
Membership Support
- Manage membership enquiries (average across team of 25 emails daily).
- Manage membership - using, inputting, and reporting via our CRM.
- Facilitate and coordinate faith and membership resources and content delivery.
- Support the charity’s Communities of Interest (representative membership groups).
- Lead the administration of national and regional events.
- Support national programme and membership engagement activities.

- To produce and provide reports and resources as required for the Director of Membership
- To work across the charity on supporting the incorporation of membership outputs and content in relevant areas of the wider work of the global charity.

Work Location/Hybrid Working Pattern
This role will be based at our Head Office in central London. Mothers’ Union operates a hybrid working model. Staff are required to work an aggregate minimum of 90 days per calendar year (pro rata for part timers) at our Head Office, Mary Sumner House in central London. Tuesdays are our anchor days where every staff member is expected to be at the office. The 90 days includes anchor Tuesdays. In addition, Thursday is a core working day where part time staff are expected to work, either at home or from the office as needed.

To assist in the delivery of a high-quality, widely respected and customer-influenced repairs and maintenance function by providing full project management support and customer liaison across the full range of Stoll’s property compliance and asset maintenance contracts and programmes.
Key Responsibilities:

Specific Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and implement the delivery of gas safety services to include annual gas safety checks to all dwellings and gaining access to inaccessible homes.
- Develop and maintain effective mechanisms to ensure all gas, LPG, oil, ASHP & renewables and solid fuel appliances are inspected annually.
- Maintain up-to-date and appropriate records for the proper management of the gas safety programme and all other property compliance programmes. This may include both paper and electronic records.
- Ensure that STOLL meet all statutory and HSE (Health and Safety Executive) requirements relating to all identified areas of property compliance including all elements of FLAGEL – fire, legionella, asbestos, gas safety, electrical safety, and lifts.
- Work closely with the H&S Officer to ensure that work relating to fire safety is delivered appropriately and as required.
- Effectively manage appropriate facilities management and property compliance budgets and resources to ensure optimum service/programme levels are achieved.
- Process invoices and ensure contract payments are made in a timely fashion.
- Provide colleagues with itemised service charge estimates for tenants and leaseholders detailing the annual costs of servicing/maintenance/cyclical works.
- Ensure timely, accurate and relevant performance management information is available for review and can be produced for the property compliance function. Assist in monitoring performance targets to achieve continuous improvement.
- Assist with the preparation, administration and monitoring of facilities management and property compliance contracts and programmes. Prepare specifications and schedules and programmes of work. Issue works orders and monitor quantity, progress, and quality of works on site.
- Manage contractors daily across the full portfolio of facilities management and property compliance programmes, ensuring that contractors adhere to an agreed programme for each individual resident’s home and that collectively programmes are delivered on time.
- Ensure timely and accurate administration of all records relating to property compliance and facilities management. This will include input and record keeping and include supervision of contractors.
- Records must be maintained to a standard which ensures that all information in connection with servicing and testing programmes is readily retrievable when requested.
- Carry out site inspections of works in progress when required. Arrange and minute regular meetings with property compliance, facilities management and cyclical maintenance contractors either as specified in individual contracts, or on good practice grounds agreed with the Director of Property and Asset Management.

Conservation Collective (CC) funds solutions to protect the environment, restore nature, and safeguard against climate change. The CC UK charity incubates, launches, and supports locally focused foundations, which open new funding channels to support the most impactful environmental grassroots projects. Our network comprises 20 members based all over the world and is growing.
We manage and monitor our donor relations, grant giving governance, contacts, and event activities, via a bespoke and customised salesforce system. This was launched in early 2022 and has been developed and configured to meet our growing needs since then.
As the demand for our model increases around the world, we need a highly capable Salesforce Administrator to support us to ensure our system is well managed, users are trained, and we can create accurate reports for our donors and other audiences. We’re looking for someone who can not only ensure that the existing system works well, is well managed and who can help us generate high-quality reports from the system to help us to raise more funding to support grassroots conservation work.
The role will report to the Finance Director and will work closely with the rest of the team in the UK and around the world, it is a critical role that is central to the success of our global network, and there is lots of scope for an ambitious candidate to grow in responsibility with it.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee Salesforce System: maintenance, administration, prioritisation and training
Maintenance, user management, support and development

Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform, managing user access, profiles, roles, and security settings.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve any operational or functional problem.

Maintain reliable records in all objects on Salesforce by eliminating duplicates monthly, processing user deletion requests and updating records for lists with up-to-date information on key stakeholders (e.g. trustees, contractors etc).

Ensure automatic back-ups are working and up to date and an understanding of how to restore back-ups if needed, protecting our organisational data.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of Salesforce configurations and process.

Manage onboarding and offboarding users both with Salesforce and Microsoft platforms.

Oversee smooth onboarding and training process for new members and refresher training where appropriate to ensure effective adoption and system use.

Support CC team to maintain and ensure Sharepoint intranet is working smoothly and is up to date, user management of licenses and active users, their security settings, distribution lists.

The successful candidate for this role will need to demonstrate:

About the Role
Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same
This role requires using your initiative and proactive attitude than reactive.
You will also be working with women who are in trauma and can be in crisis requiring you to be empathetic but aspirational. You will provide advice and support to women who have experienced domestic abuse in a refuge setting, across the three sites. You will carry out risk and needs assessments, develop support plans and carry out key work with women survivors. You will be expected to work in one of the three Refuges as part of your role
Some of the tasks you will be required.
- Support – Induction, Risk Assessments, Domestic Abuse, Mental Health, Benefits, Debt Advice, Move On, maintain accurate recording on Solace case management system and ensure regular reviews are carried out.
- Frontline delivery of support directly to service users
- Repairs Identification/reporting/meeting contractors
- Void inspections, basic void works – i.e. clean/clear, furniture, welcome packs
- Service Users Arrears & HB Claims and benefits - Identify arrears of concern & raise to Service Manager

About You
The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of domestic abuse and its impact on women and their children, as well as experience of providing emotional and practical support to victims of domestic and sexual violence. An in depth understanding of the needs of women and children from a diverse background is essential.
- You will have experience of managing risk and following case management procedures to meet the needs of the client group, and the ability to work with women to help them to understand their needs, risk assess, develop safety plan and support them in linking with other agencies.
- You should have an understanding of the homelessness process, either professionally or personally.
- You will have a working knowledge of the available legal remedies, housing and welfare benefits, as well as experience of providing workshops.
Outside of this, you will have excellent administrative and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage a caseload.

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic team administrator to join our small, friendly and relaxed team at SCONUL, the professional association for academic and research libraries. The team currently works one to two days a week from our modern offices close to Euston station and the remainder of the week from home.
You will be responsible for providing administrative support across all aspects of the organisation’s work, including diary management, the organisation of meetings and supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme. It’s a role that provides scope for autonomy and to become involved in the full range of the organisation’s work and to develop a broad set of skills.

Job description
Reporting to the Project Manager and working closely with the Project Manager and SCONUL Co-ordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Organising the schedule of meetings for the SCONUL Board and SCONUL working Groups.
- Managing the diary of the Executive Director.
- Supporting the delivery of the SCONUL Access Scheme including:
- answering routine queries from Access Scheme users, applicants and university administrators
- providing SCONUL Access contacts with timely and relevant information about the scheme
- providing routine technical support to applicants and university contacts responsible for processing applications and refer potentially more complex or disruptive technical problems
- drafting changes to website content to reflect the scheme’s current practice and procedures.
- Supporting the delivery of SCONUL events including:
- drafting and following up invitations to speakers and other participants with support from the Project Manager
- managing and processing events registrations
- booking accommodation and travel arrangements when required
- production of event documentation
- helping to manage events on site, including briefing and managing colleagues, volunteers, and external suppliers, supporting, advising and directing event participants.
- Processing invoices and other office paperwork.

Role purpose
This is a new role, where the director will bring together the work of the Advocacy and the Communications teams to lead JCWI's campaigns. The Director leads JCWI’s campaigns and community organising; policy and parliamentary advocacy; working in alignment with directly impacted communities and partners within and beyond the migration sector. The Director builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensures the organisation’s collective expertise influences political debates and the public narrative on migrants’ rights and racial justice.
The role provides strategic leadership for JCWI’s campaigns to drive forward positive change for migrant rights in an increasingly hostile political climate, and supports a wide range of work building campaigns, coalitions and networks to advance migrant justice, ensuring that JCWI is a generous and collaborative partner, working in solidarity with all groups, including grassroots and community groups, unions, faith groups and NGOs.
The Director provides line management and strategic leadership to the Advocacy and Communications Team, overseeing the direction of the team, overseeing the teams' work and ensuring close, collaborative working relationships across all teams.
The Director is a lead spokesperson for the organisation, representing JCWI and our values at public forums, in the media and within coalitions. The Nuffield Foundation is recruiting an Executive Assistant to work closely with, and support, our Chief Executive, Leadership Team, Trustees and members of our governance committees.
The Executive Assistant will work at the intersection of strategic leadership and effective operational administration, working as a lynchpin within the organisation to provide high level administrative and operational support to the Nuffield Foundation’s Leadership Team (LT) and Chief Executive. They will be a trusted partner responsible for delivering high-level strategic, operational, and administrative support to the CEO and LT.
This will include:
- Scheduling, coordinating and supporting all Trustee and other Committee meetings and events, including the preparation of papers and agendas, taking detailed minutes and tracking agreed actions.
- Managing the CEO’s diary, providing briefings and drafting documents and presentations as required.
- Scheduling, planning and preparation of Leadership, staff and other large/organisation-wide meetings.
- Managing the overall governance calendar, and key governance documents and records.
- Working with the Directors of Strategy, Finance and HR on strategic and operational planning
- Providing diary management and other general administrative support to members of the LT where required.
This role acts an extension of the CEO’s office, ensuring alignment across leadership priorities, and effective and timely follow-through on strategic and operational initiatives.
The successful candidate will be experienced in providing executive and administrative support to leaders, ideally within a similar organisation or setting. They will demonstrate professionalism and a strong work ethic, and will have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with a broad range of colleagues and use tact, discretion, influence and diplomacy when required. They will also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft correspondence and short papers as well as take minutes of meetings. The ability to demonstrate political acumen and experience of providing company secretary/governance-type support is also desirable.

The Operations Manager is a key role within the team, ensuring the effective and efficient management of the SLG’s three sites: the Main Gallery, the Fire Station and Art Block. This includes managing the maintenance and upkeep of the SLG’s Grade II listed buildings and artist-designed gardens, as well as leading the Front of House team to ensure that the SLG provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for all visitors and a high quality of visitor experience.
The Operations Manager works closely with the Deputy Director and manages a team comprising two Operations Supervisors, the Gallery Technician and contracted and casual Front of House staff and Cleaners. The role takes the lead on the implementation and monitoring of the SLG’s environment and sustainability policy and contributes to organisation-wide work towards the SLG’s equity, diversity and inclusion objectives.
The post holder will be required to be an appointed first aider and a fire marshal, as well as a primary keyholder. They may, therefore, be called upon for out of hours emergencies. Appropriate training will be given.

Key Responsibilites:
Routine Financial Oversight
· Oversee all accounting, cash management, reconciliations and authorisation of payments.
· Monitor day-to-day financial operations: banking transactions, current and deposit accounts, payroll, and other transactions.
· Maintain the fixed assets register and monthly depreciation.
· Manage cash flow, investing excess cash where appropriate.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
· Manage and prepare annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the Director of Operations and senior leadership team.
· Provide timely, accurate and accessible management accounts and reports for senior managers, budget holders and Trustees.
· Interpret complex financial information clearly for non-finance colleagues.

Systems, Process Improvement & Controls
· Design and implement financial systems and process improvements to drive efficiency.

Team Leadership

Other Duties
· Respond to queries from Trustees, Director of Operations, budget managers and external stakeholders as required.
