About the role
This role is key to turning data into insight that drives strategic decisions and deepens supporter relationships. Collaborating across fundraising, digital, and service teams, you’ll proactively identify opportunities, shape analysis, and influence decision-making.
You’ll deliver clear, accessible reporting and dashboards, support and mentor colleagues, and contribute to the development of our data warehouse. You’ll embed segmentation and find ways to include AI into our work and ensure insights are timely, relevant, and easy to understand.
Trusted to work independently and manage competing priorities, you’ll deliver high-impact insight with confidence and clarity. Your expertise will help shape how data is used across the organisation, and your ideas will be welcomed as we continue to evolve our approach.
About you
You’re an experienced analyst who’s confident working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders. You bring a strong track record of translating complex data into actionable insight and influencing decisions at all levels.
You’re comfortable using tools like Power BI and combining supporter and digital data to uncover trends and opportunities. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working with complex and sensitive data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in everything you do. You communicate clearly and adapt your approach to suit different audiences, helping others build confidence with data.
You’re curious about new technologies, including AI, and keen to explore how they can improve our work. You enjoy mentoring others, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement.

Primary location of role and hybrid working

Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, experienced and data driven CRM Manager to join the Projects, Data and Insight team at Heart Research UK and oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of our Customer Relationship Management activities.
In this new role, you will play a pivotal part in developing the charity’s approach to CRM and database engagement. You will be responsible for segmenting audiences, automating communication flows, and driving supporter and non-supporter engagement, retention, and lifetime value.
Key Responsibilities:
- CRM Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute CRM strategies to improve supporter and non-supporter engagement, conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Platform Management: Alongside the Director of Data, oversee the management and development of the systems which collect and process data, including the CRM database (Beacon) and other fundraising platforms
- Customer Segmentation: Work closely with the Data Analyst to develop an understanding of supporter behaviours to create effective segmentation strategies for targeted marketing and fundraising efforts.
- Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and optimise communication campaigns. Ensure consistent messaging and personalisation.
- Automation: Build and manage automated workflows to onboard new supporters and beneficiaries and deepen and broaden their engagement with the charity.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitor CRM performance and KPIs; deliver actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Fundraising, Health Promotion and Education and Research teams to propose and deliver cohesive journeys and experiences.
- Compliance: Ensure CRM practices comply with data privacy regulations

Are you an innovative Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM professional who wishes to be a valued member of a busy and friendly fundraising team, taking responsibility for the management of the charity’s future Dynamics 365 CRM?
The charity is currently in the discovery phase of its CRM project, to deliver its future Dynamics 365 CRM. The new Dynamics 365 CRM will be at the heart of the charity’s success, to deliver excellent supporter data quality for its fundraising and communication campaigns to supporters.
Reporting to the Director of Fundraising, and collaborating closely with the Head of IT, CRM Project Manager and Data Analyst, the CRM Manager shall be a vital and visible role, fundamental to the charity’s fundraising success, to further its vision of a world where every horse is treated with respect, compassion and understanding.
Through your proven Dynamics 365 CRM skills and experience, you will also lead on the charity’s CRM business processes and data quality, collaborating with fundraising, communications, IT and finance stakeholders, colleagues and third-party suppliers.

This position is based remotely. But you must be a resident of the United Kingdom with all the necessary legislative ‘right to work’ documentation. You will be required to attend the charity’s head office located in Norfolk a minimum of 6 times per year and this will be at your own expense for travel and accommodation.

The role:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user behaviour across Christian Aid’s digital platforms using a range of analytics tools. Structure, extract, and interpret data to generate insights that inform and improve the overall digital experience.
- Develop and present data-driven hypotheses to evaluate and optimise campaign performance. Provide clear feedback and actionable recommendations to support ongoing digital enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in digital analytics, delivering detailed campaign performance reports and actionable insights. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to build consensus and drive data-informed decision-making.
- Utilise digital reporting dashboards such as Power BI and Looker Studio to effectively communicate key digital KPIs, enabling informed, strategic decisions across the organisation.

About you:
- Demonstrated expertise in digital analysis and insights, with a strong track record of producing data-driven reports and actionable recommendations across platforms such as Google Analytics 4, email marketing, social media, and META.
- Proven ability to optimise marketing, fundraising, and conversion strategies through comprehensive performance analysis.
- Highly proficient in statistical analysis techniques, including:
- Descriptive and comparative statistics
- A/B testing
- Data modelling to identify trends and support performance improvement
- Advanced knowledge of digital performance tools and frameworks, including:
- Google Analytics 4 (funnel analysis, segmentation, e-commerce tracking)

Overview of the role
As the organisation’s Head of Finance and Data, you will be an experienced, and trusted professional, who can bring strong financial and data disciplines to the organisation.
Working closely with our new CEO and committed trustees and staff, you will develop and implement The Mix’s financial and data strategies that are aligned to our vision to expand the reach of our crucial support of young people in Suffolk.
You will have a thorough understanding of financial accounting and planning relevant to the charity and social-enterprise sectors, with a strong attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
1. Financial leadership
· Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and practices.
