The Role
As Heritage Centre Manager, you’ll provide strategic leadership and hands-on operational management, ensuring the Centre continues to thrive as an inclusive, engaging, and financially resilient space. You’ll work closely with Trustees, staff, volunteers, and external partners to deliver a dynamic programme of events, exhibitions, and educational activities.

The Friends of Moorfields is a registered charity supporting the patients and staff at Moorfields Eye Hospital, a world centre of excellence for the specialist treatment of eye diseases.
The Friends provide a range of services to support the work of the hospital – including the purchase of clinical equipment – and manage a team of volunteers.
The Position

Based at Moorfields Eye Hospital, the post holder will be inspired by the difference Friends staff and volunteers make to patients and staff at Moorfields. They will work closely with the health hub, shop and volunteer team and will be committed to raising the profile and awareness of Friends of Moorfields.

About the role
You will manage a team of 3 fundraising professionals to plan and deliver our portfolio of virtual and DIY fundraising events, including our Facebook Challenges and growing Swim It campaign, with the objective of raising over £6m for people living with cancer. You will be responsible for the campaign strategy and delivery, supporting the team on recruitment through paid and organic marketing and delivering sector-leading stewardship, acting as the strategic lead for both internal and external relationships to enable this delivery.
This role does require weekend work (although not at your desk) as you’ll be out and about cheering on our participants. You will be compensated for your weekend work with days in lieu.

Join our dynamic team as the Communications and External Relations Manager at UWC International, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of education within the UWC Movement. With the Senior Communications and External Relations Manager, you’ll be responsible for fundraising and general communications, publications, external relations and PR. You’ll be a creative, methodical and solutions-focused communicator who will help drive the leadership of the communications and engagement team raising the profile of UWC, providing support to UWC International team, and working with stakeholders and communications teams at the UWC schools and colleges and the National Committees located across the world.
The communications and engagement team at UWC encompasses a broad range of activities, including digital and social media, events, alumni engagement, branding, design, publications, and global student recruitment and fundraising campaigns. As part of the team, you will have a varied workload and get the opportunity to work across different areas and specialisms.
One of the key areas of focus for this role is supporting the Development Team with their income generation work, including creating and delivering communications campaigns. Previous experience in this area would be a bonus. On the external relations side, we are looking to increase our profile and establish ourselves as thought leaders. We are in the early stages of this work, so there is scope to support the Senior Communications and External Relations Manager and take a leading role in this.
The successful candidate will possess proven experience in communications, marketing and external relations, ideally within an international and fundraising communications context. You should be a strong all-rounder or have specific expertise in external relations/PR, but with some experience in other areas of communications and marketing. We would like to see demonstrable experience in creating and delivering campaigns from concept through implementation to evaluation.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legacy Marketing Manager to play a key role in shaping the future of our legacy marketing programme.
Legacy gifts are our single largest source of voluntary income, with significant potential for growth. To recognise this, we have secured additional investment to help us engage, inspire and acquire new legacy supporters through multi-channel marketing activities.

- Wellbeing Allowance: MQ provides an allowance of up to £1200 per annum for each employee to spend on activities that increase their wellbeing. This is paid through payroll and is taxable.
- Cycle to work scheme: An interest-free loan is available to enable employees to purchase a bike and accessories, repaid via equal deductions from the employee’s salary over 12 months.
