This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week on a hybrid basis with the expectation that our successful candidate will work from our Godmanchester site approximately 1 - 2 days a month dependant on business need. The starting salary for this position will be £52,000 - £55,000 depending on experience. This is complemented by;
- 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to 40 days after five years

The Role
The Marketing and Communications Manager is a core role. You will work directly with the Head of Content and Communications (HoC) and Creative Content Designer and Animator on the delivery of a communications strategy focused on increasing visibility and impact.

About Aspens
Aspens is a charity that provides high-quality person-centred care and support to individuals on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities, and their families. Purpose of Role
This role will work with direction from the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver marketing campaigns to raise awareness of and promote Aspens’ services, income-generation activities including fundraising, retail and hospitality, and recruitment; engage with our internal and external stakeholders; and reach new audiences. A key part of the role will be internal ‘customer’ support, collaborating with departments across the charity to meet shared goals in line with Aspens’ strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign delivery
· Collaborate with the operations, fundraising, retail and recruitment teams to create and deliver comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Aspens’ services, shops/e-commerce, hospitality, events and recruitment and meet shared goals in line with the charity’s strategic objectives.
· Create and deliver internal comms campaigns to drive engagement and increase retention of staff.
· Monitor and evaluate campaign performance by reporting on agreed objectives and KPIs.
Content Creation
· Develop relevant and engaging content to be utilised across channels, including, but not limited to website, social media, internal channels and email, in our shops, Bluebell Café and the community to reach new and existing stakeholders.

The Role
Work with the Head of Individual Giving and Legacies to develop the Legacy marketing and In Memory strategies and devise and implement meaningful supporter journeys.
Deliver programmes across direct, digital, video and internal channels to increase future income from Gifts in Wills and In Memory fundraising.
Plan legacy events including identifying potential audiences/invitees, sourcing venues, arranging engaging speakers, and presenting content.
The Candidate
Demonstrable experience in creating and managing Legacy and/or In Memoriam Marketing campaigns for a charity.
Experience of managing full mix marketing including direct mail, telemarketing, email and online campaigns.
Experience of managing a campaign budget.

The Role

To act as an enthusiastic ambassador for the charity; building strong relationships across a variety of networks to support and develop the public presence of the charity and community fundraising income. Key Duties
Fundraising:
- Be the primary point of contact for new and existing supporters.

- Support with e-commerce and support the enterprise team to maximise opportunities.
- Represent the organisation at networking events, meetings and other outside events, as necessary.
Other:
- Supporting other members of the team to deliver activities; including, but not limited to, activity days and evening clubs.
- To help develop new and innovative ideas to help our target groups and meet our charitable objectives.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Experience:

Skills:
