Age UK's Individual Marketing team is looking for a Loyalty Marketing Manager, Lotteries & Raffle to manage the Lottery and Raffle Loyalty programme.
As Loyalty Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for retaining players, maximising entries per players and grow repeat/long-term playing through delivering excellent supporter experiences and deepening relationships with our charity audiences. We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in the Direct Marketing discipline across offline and online channels.
We operate a hybrid-working model, a blend of home and office working. This role will include regular days working from our London office - currently once a week on a Thursday and may involve occasional travel, including some overnight stays. About the role
We’re looking for someone who has experience in marketing, communications and engagement for events, gala lunches, fundraising products and campaigns. We want you to bring creativity, insight and energy to help drive the income of the Charity from your marketing and engagement perspective. This could look like selling tickets for events, running campaigns or increasing sign ups to Legacy.

Job Summary
As a key role within the Fundraising Division, the Legacy Marketing Manager will work to achieve the essential long-term legacy income that helps Anthony Nolan to save the lives of people with blood cancer and blood disorders.
You will do this by shaping and implementing our legacy marketing plans to achieve our long-term income goals. You will develop an audience-centric and insight-driven legacy marketing programme to attract and steward potential legators. - Develop and manage our legacy fundraising, setting and achieving agreed targets to help us to grow our long-term legacy income.

The Children’s Trust is the UK’s leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Community Rehabilitation Service. We are the largest centre commissioned by NHS England for Category A neurorehabilitation.
This role is pivotal in leading on all business development and services-marketing activity to drive and increase brand awareness to ultimately generate referrals, whilst strengthening our position to be the provider of choice to support children with acquired brain injury and neurodisability across the UK and internationally.
You’ll work alongside a cross-organisational team to promote our services to external stakeholders, in particular managing our key account plan to influence, maximise referrals and income generating opportunities. The purpose of the role

Key accountabilities
Strategy and planning
- Support the Director, Mass Markets in the development and delivery of the retention strategy and priorities
- Identify, scope and deliver new and innovative opportunities that advance the retention strategy
- Manage retention operational planning, including leading annual, quarterly and monthly planning sessions, defining key deliverables and ensuring all activity supports the aims of the retention strategy
- Manage the monitoring and reporting framework to track performance against strategic objectives

Campaign management
- Oversee, plan and deliver multi-channel revenue and engagement campaigns, including emergencies, ensuring all activity is designed to inspire and engage supporters
- Oversee the design and implementation of customer journeys across all segments and products, in order to increase loyalty, average value and product holdings
- Lead the development and management of the mid-level portfolio, including regular communications, donor events, and identification and development of prospects into active donating advocates of the IRC
- Oversee work to ensure it is completed to standard, on time and within budget and act as overflow support during peak times, such as emergencies
- Work closely with equivalent team members in other national markets (i.e. Korea, Germany, Sweden, US) and the Mass Market support team to ensure all activity is coordinated and maximised
Insight, analysis and data management
- Work closely with the Analytics team to identify and manage analytics requirements and to draw actionable insights from performance data
- Oversee and sign off detailed end of campaign reports, ensuring all relevant information is documented and used to inform future activity

Leadership and management
- Line manage and develop the Retention Marketing Executive(s), ensuring performance objectives are managed throughout the year and opportunities for training, development and progression are identified and prioritised
- Work closely with other team members to increase connection across Mass Markets, with the ultimate aim of developing a seamless progression for new donors and prospects into further cultivation

General
- Keep up to date with the sector developments in individual giving to ensure IRC is at the forefront of fundraising developments
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, best practice and industry standards and adhere to all relevant regulation including the Fundraising Regulator and ICO.
- Ensure all fundraising and marketing is ethical, effective and supporter centric
- This post may involve some travel, overnight stays and very occasional working outside core office hours, e.g. during an emergency appeal

Experience:
- Experience and understanding of Individual Giving and retention programmes, with a proven track record of successfully delivering revenue and engagement activities across multiple channels**
- Experience of line management**
- Experience and understanding of creative process and relationship with brand identity through different channels and audiences**
- Experience of operational planning and campaign management**
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, high performing team
- Experience working for a centralised, international organisation would be an advantage
Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications
- Understanding of cash and recurring revenue business models**
- Proven experience of audience and donor segmentation, analytical modelling such as LTV and use of insights to drive campaign and programme performance
- Driven and proactive with a solutions-based approach
- Excellent verbal and written English and the ability to produce high-quality reports
- Commercially minded, with the ability to balance both long-term and short-term activity and objectives
- Excellent IT skills across Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

In this role, you'll support these stakeholders by leading on the development and delivery of marketing strategies and plans designed to meet our high value & B2B audience objectives.
What will I be doing?
Working with the Philanthropy and Communications teams to develop and deliver paid marketing strategies to support the delivery of the More Research, Less Cancer campaign's £400m target
Leading on the translation of the Pledge proposition's professional audience and high-value strategies into marketing objectives and plans, developing KPIs linked to wider Legacy objectives
Overseeing the development, delivery and optimisation of a marketing communications programme for our Legacy professional audiences
Leading on the translation of the Partnerships acquisition and retention strategies into clear marketing objectives, developing KPIs linked to wider Partnerships objectives
Working collaboratively with New Partnerships stakeholders to develop and deliver marketing strategies and plans which drive awareness of partnering with CRUK and acquiring new business leads
Working collaboratively with Partnerships Management stakeholders to develop and deliver marketing strategies and plans which engage existing partners, deepening relationships and improving retention
Spotting opportunities to reach new high-value and B2B audiences through audience-led marketing strategies, including mass affluent Legacy and wealth advisor audiences
Acting as the marketing expert for high-value and B2B audiences, consulting with teams across the organisation to include and optimise marketing activity where relevant.
What skills will I need?
Significant marketing leadership experience, ideally high value and/or B2B marketing experience
Strategic thinker with significant experience of translating strategy into operational planning, and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns with strong digital marketing acumen
Ability to build collaborative relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
Significant understanding of end-to-end supporter journeys and the role of different marketing channels in fully integrated campaigns
Relevant experience of managing and motivating agencies and suppliers to drive maximum value from relationships
Champions the supporter and the delivery of relevant, engaging communications and excellent supporter experiences
A flexible approach to adapt to changing priorities
A confident and effective communicator, including in difficult situations
A professional marketing qualification, such as Institute of Digital Marketing or Chartered Institute of Marketing, or equivalent experience.
