The Opportunity

We are seeking a Partnerships Manager to join our team.  This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Development Team and make a significant contribution to delivery of the charity’s high quality services to children and young people, providing them with opportunities and inspiration to enable them to achieve their potential, create a positive future for themselves and open doors to their success.

If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident with experience in successfully securing, managing and developing partnerships from initial prospect research through to contracting and ongoing management, then this role is for you. Working alongside the Director of Business Development and Partnerships, you will support and contribute to the charity’s business development strategy with responsibility for managing activity including raising funds for Inspire from a range of sources including corporate partnerships, community fundraising, trusts and foundations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

1. Writing and submitting applications for new funding to statutory bodies, trusts, foundations and corporates.

2. Researching funding opportunities, competitors and market trends.

3. Developing and maintaining an annual calendar of community fundraising activities.

4. Identifying new business development opportunities and developing a pipeline of opportunities and proposals.

5. Management and growth of Inspire's entry to mid-level corporate partnerships.

6. Working with delivery team colleagues to ensure funders’ reports are completed on time and to a high standard.

Fundraising Public Relations Officer

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PR and marketing professional in our London fundraising office to design and deliver creative, multi-channel, integrated fundraising and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.

The success of this role will be dependent on engaging and building meaningful long-term relationships with both existing and new supporters through effective donor stewardship, attending events, and networking.  

The successful candidate will work in conjunction with a small, dedicated team to provide fundraising, comms, and event support to our community fundraising groups.  

High quality comms and media are going to be central to our plans to go public in a big way in 2024.  Creating high-quality, impactful, and engaging content for multimedia platforms will be key. You’ll be able to identify stories from across the organisation, draw out information and ideas from others, and successfully turn complicated or clinical information into clear, simple, and compelling narratives.  

The role requires a creative thinker with exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Main responsibilities:

Fundraising

· Develop and implement integrated fundraising, marketing and PR campaigns designed to significantly increase the Hospital’s voluntary income.

· Create and promote compelling and engaging content for web, social media, and email – ensuring that all comms have clear goals and outcomes.

· Manage the key relationships with the Guild fundraising Committee and the SOA fundraising committee including comms, marketing, and event support as well as helping to manage the key relationships with the Knights Templar sub-groups, and the County Priory Groups across the UK.  

· To put in place measures for evaluating the effectiveness of all fundraising, PR and marketing activity ensuring robust data collection, analysis procedures, and making suggestions for improvements where required.

· Manage the production of key organisational publications – including, the Jerusalem Scene magazine, Annual Report, Strategic Plan, Annual Leaflet, and other promotional materials.

· To work closely with the Executive Head of UK Office and project partners to deliver a new website, contributing expertise and ideas in regard to its look, feel and functionality.

· Take responsibility for the ongoing management and maintenance of the website, working with external consultants where required to resolve issues.  

· Understand and apply the principles of up-to-date SEO.

· Working with colleagues in Jerusalem to maintain a bank of compelling messages, narratives, and case studies for use across all external communications.

PR & Media

· To actively promote the charity’s fundraising endeavours including drafting all external and internal messaging to both new and existing supporters – e.g. email campaigns, newsletters, invitations, letters, speeches, presentations etc. for senior staff and volunteers.

· Managing press and media opportunities related to SJEHG’s fundraising activities.  

· Cultivate and maintain relationships with press and media, proactively pitching stories to secure media coverage, drafting press releases, media plans, articles, and other materials for SJEHG’s fundraising activities.

· To provide counsel and advice to senior leadership on external and internal messaging, as required.

Other

· To assist with the management of the marketing budget, monitoring expenses, ensuring cost effectiveness, seeking to maximise return on investment.

· To keep accurate records and help ensure effective data management processes across the organisation.

· Collaborate effectively with colleagues and a wide range of individuals and organisations.

I’m looking for an experienced & diligent Communications Manager to join a multifaceted arts & community charity, based in numerous centres across London. You will bring an understanding of London arts scenes, ideally the alternative arts scene. The role can be offered as either part-time, or full-time, and is permanent.

The charity operates as a solution for otherwise vacant property, through charitable occupation. This can range from short term 18 months to 3 years or longer term 3 – 10 years. They currently have over 500 affordable artist workspaces, and 5 project spaces where they provide a programme of arts and educational events.

As Communications Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of the website, creating compelling content and taking a lead role in the delivery of proactive media relations. I’m looking to speak to a strategic thinker who can see the bigger picture, manage multiple projects, but also has strong attention to detail diligently managing creative outlets such as their online presence and creative posters and flyers.

This role will provide strategic oversight and direction for Lepra’s institutional fundraising function to deliver on the restricted and unrestricted income targets. Line managing and leading the Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser in the delivery of the trust fundraising target, and working with the programmes teams in the UK, India and Bangladesh to identify and develop applications to statutory sources and major trusts, leading on the development of detailed project proposals.

The Head of Marketing & Sales plays a pivotal role in driving the organisation’s growth. You will report directly to the Chief Revenue Generation Officer who leads the revenue team, comprising of digital marketing and content specialists as well as membership support staff.

As Communications and Fundraising Assistant, you will play a particularly prominent role in telling the story of what Charity funding makes possible at King’s – generating high quality content to communicate the difference we’re making, and helping our communications officer to bring it to life it on our digital channels. Key Tasks

• Working with the Communications Officer to create content for websites, digital platforms, social media, email campaigns and other channels. This includes the Trust’s Inside King’s magazine as well as our own channels. It could involve interviewing staff, patients and volunteers, creating films, taking photographs.
• Organising, distributing and updating the Charity’s marketing materials around the Trust, including posters, leaflets and banners.
• Helping to maintain the Charity’s social media presence, creating and scheduling engaging content across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, producing analytics reports and using insights to inform future strategy.
• Developing our use of Sharepoint as an internal communications channel, and maintaining the Charity’s presence on the King’s staff intranet.

Its purpose is "Funding research into better, kinder treatments to help cure kids' cancer."

The three cancers it focuses on (brain tumours, leukaemia and sarcoma) make up 78% of all childhood cancers. The collaboration allows the three distinct organizations to come together with a single-minded vision to be louder, more powerful, reach more people, and fund more vital research.

Job Purpose:

The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. They will be responsible for implementing and delivering the project plan, monitoring, evaluations, reporting, all systems and processes, coordinating meetings, etc and for generating income through (mainly) Corporate partnerships but may include some Trusts and High Value individuals. These partners will be with organisations/individuals who would otherwise be outside the reach of any of the three charities individually.

We are looking for an Interim External Affairs Manager to help lead our communications activities from 24 June 2024 to 31 December, while our permanent External Affairs Manager is on sabbatical. This is a particularly exciting time to join the team, as we seek to maximise our impact ahead of the next general election and develop our strategy for the next few years. 

The successful candidate will help to manage the day to day work of the External Affairs team, including supporting colleagues to enhance our reach on social media and digital channels, deliver our events programme and deepen our impact with key audiences.
