The Social Media Manager is an integral role within the Marketing team at CoppaFeel! and will play an essential part in supporting our 3-year organisational growth strategy. Magic Breakfast is a registered charity providing healthy breakfasts to children and young people in the UK who arrive at school too hungry to learn, and expert support to their schools. JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Brand and Marketing team, the Social Media Officer will lead on social media strategy for the organization, working closely with teams across Magic Breakfast to develop and diversify our presence on social media. - Develop Magic Breakfast social media channels to grow an engaging environment for people with lived experience of childhood morning hunger and our wider supporter network.
- Develop and deliver effective strategies that optimise and grow our social media channels.
- Liase with both Magic Breakfast and corporate partners' design, PR and social media agencies to deliver effective and timely campaigns
- Monitor, improve (through testing and optimisation) and report on the performance and effectiveness of social media content and campaigns

About the role
As Crisis’ Media and Artist Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in securing impactful media coverage that inspires the public and politicians to join our fight to end homelessness by raising awareness of our influencing campaigns and fundraising events. You will help to build Crisis’ profile by bringing to life our work, demonstrating how we end people’s homelessness for good through education, training and support with housing, employment, and health. You’ll also identify, build and nurture relationships with artists and influencers to secure their support for Crisis and our work, whether that be political campaigning, fundraising or our commercial and retail offering.
Your role will be creative and varied. You’ll work with our frontline staff to identify people facing homelessness who want to share their stories and empower them to do so. Duties and Key relationships Marketing and Communications
This is a new role in the Marketing and Communications department and is responsible for the media relations of the Charity.
PR and Media Relations
• To develop relevant media contacts, as well as contacts in the sector, to maximise the reach and coverage of key communications campaigns as well as wider organisational projects.
• Produce creative copy written for a variety of audience groups which champions and shows best practice of our tone of voice
• Develop and support in house PR roll out
· Work with external PR agency on selected press releases where relevant
· Write press releases in line with campaign launches and key moments

Communications
• Maintain the communications calendar

Senior Social Media Officer
Are you passionate about social media and have experience of managing content across a range of platforms?
Sue Ryder is looking for a Senior Social Media Officer to join the Digital Team, to manage our portfolio of social media accounts and develop the charity’s channels to showcase the importance of our end-of-life care and bereavement support.
The Role
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the role works closely with colleagues across the charity including fundraising, health & social care, and retail. Our social channels play a key role in providing support to people who are struggling with grief, as well as being an important engagement tool with our supporters. The role will be responsible for the content creation and planning across our accounts, including content around grief and bereavement, as well as taking ownership of key paid social campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content planning for our local channels and leading on social media activities for fundraising events, PR campaigns and other projects.
· Creating content with a story-led approach including copywriting and developing visual assets for our national and retail accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn and TikTok.
· Manage the response matrix for our social media moderation and escalation processes in line with organisational safeguarding procedures.
· Moderation cover for the Online Community and deputise for the Social Media Manager in meetings/project groups. Supervise the Social Media Assistant through proofreading, monitoring and delegating tasks.
· Gather data and insights to develop reports with actionable recommendations.
· Plan and implement paid social campaigns for fundraising events throughout the year.
· Provide training and support for colleagues in social media best practices.
About You:

Senior Media and Campaign Manager
Contract: Fixed term contract for approximately seven months maternity leave cover. With either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.

You'll need a softness of touch when working with storytellers and hospice colleagues, and the patience and pragmatism to work with internal and external colleagues. You'll need to be decisive, and able to explain complex decisions to journalists and senior management. As well as strong media relations skills, we're looking for someone with a wider understanding of the full communications and marketing mix, and who will have some oversight and strategic control of the charity's digital channels.
