Helping to grow income and supporting and delivering the Legacy & In Memory Giving fundraising strategy.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and IT skills with good attention to detail and be able to follow procedures accurately. Being successful in building effective relationships, self-motivated with the ability to manage a wide range of tasks under pressure and committed to making a difference is essential.
Previous experience of working in a cancer or healthcare charity, talking to bereaved and vulnerable supporters and using Raiser’s Edge or a similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential.
About the role
The Legacy & In Memory Giving Fundraiser will help support and deliver the Legacy and In Memory Giving fundraising strategy. You will have compassionate communication skills, especially when talking to supporters who are recently bereaved and you will develop and deliver outstanding stewardship programmes that offer support and drive retention.
This role requires using data and insight to help deliver the Legacy marketing programme, whilst also supporting the day-to-day Legacy and estate administration, dealing with solicitors, legal representatives and executors. You will proactively develop In Memory Giving fundraising, maximising the fundraising products, channels and messaging already available, as well as identifying new opportunities that are suitable for the Legacy & In Memory audience.
The role will also include working with colleagues, maximising cross team collaboration and ensuring appropriate Legacy and In Memory stewardship across all fundraising specialisms.

Job Summary
As The Operations Transformation Programme Director, you’ll build and lead a new directorate driving major change across Estates, Fleet, Logistics and Supply Chain to ensure St John’s operational services are efficient, future‑ready and deliver outstanding support. Reporting to the COO, you’ll oversee Estates & Facilities, Fleet, Logistics, Clinical Equipment, Health & Safety and Business Continuity, managing a c.£22m budget. You’ll ensure that we implement our new Estates strategy, lead capital investment, transform contract management, and deliver a best‑in‑class logistics and supply chain model. Success means measurable performance improvements, achieving key transformation milestones, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and embedding a culture of innovation, inclusion and continuous improvement while ensuring value for money.
About You
You will bring senior leadership experience from a large, complex organisation, with strong expertise in either estates and FM, or supply chain, logistics, medical devices and contract management. You will have led large, diverse and geographically dispersed teams, delivering major transformation and operational improvement programmes. Degree‑educated with relevant professional development, you will demonstrate inspirational leadership, excellent communication, analytical thinking, confident board‑level reporting, and proven budgetary management.

Job Title: Health and Nature Community Connector
Location: This role is based in Luton. The service is approximately a 20 minute walk from Luton railway station, or a short bus journey with several local bus routes stopping nearby on New Bedford Road. In this role, you will identify members needs and provide person centred, tailored support to help them overcome challenges and improve their wellbeing through nature based activities and green landscape interventions. The National Sheep Association (NSA) is a membership charity supporting and promoting sheep farming throughout the UK. NSA delivers national and regional projects, events and partnerships to support sheep farmers, influence best practice and strengthen the sector.
Purpose of the role
The Project Manager (Maternity Cover) will be responsible for the management and delivery of NSA-led and NSA-linked technical/research/innovation related projects during the maternity leave period of the substantive postholder.
Following an internal review of responsibilities, a number of non-project duties have been redistributed across the staff team. As a result, this maternity cover role has a clear and deliberate focus on project delivery, coordination and reporting.
Key relationships with: All NSA staff, particularly the NSA Chief Executive, NSA Operations Director and NSA Management Team, as well as key NSA committees, groups and individuals delivering NSA-led/NSA-linked projects and relevant research and development contacts.
Management responsibilities: The NSA Project Manager is part of the NSA management team, which meets regularly to ensure effective internal communication and decision-making. There are no line management responsibilities within this role.
Job role
The postholder will:
Project delivery and coordination
- Manage and deliver a defined portfolio of ongoing and fixed-term NSA projects, including externally funded and partnership projects.
- Ensure projects have clear objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets, and are delivered in line with agreed commitments.
- Coordinate contributions from NSA staff, committees, researchers, consultants and external partners.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and escalate where appropriate.
Project portfolio management
- Maintain clear records of project activity, outputs and deadlines.

Recovery Navigators (Mental Health) – Intensive Community Rehabilitation Service
Salary: £24,570 per annum
Location: Small Heath, Birmingham
37.5 hours per week – flexible shift patterns to include weekend and evening working. Part time roles will be considered.
We are the leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. We have been able to diversify our services over recent years resulting in our offer to the citizens of Birmingham being expanded to include prevention and community-based asset services, crisis intervention, a Birmingham and Solihull wide Mental health Helpline as well as workplace wellbeing support.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary clinically led Community Intensive Rehabilitation Team within Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust and as such although the service manager employed by us will be your line manager you will be working as part of an integrated medical and psychology team. You will be working in partnership with people who are experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently living in their own accommodation within the Birmingham area and require a period of intensive rehabilitation. Your support of individuals will be a person-centred recovery approach that focuses on developing, maintaining, and strengthening individuals’ skills, abilities, and personal resilience.
Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety.
You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include evenings and weekends. Shift patterns include 9.00am - 5.00pm and 12.00pm to 8.00pm.

The Role

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a part time governance and compliance officer to oversee our governance and risk framework as a non-profit regulated by the Charities Commission (England and Wales) and OSCR (Scotland).
You will identify, develop, maintain and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance and risk mitigation with the various regulations that we must adhere to such as Charities Commission, OSCR, Fundraising Regulator, Companies House, UK Data Protection and Safeguarding.
As governance and compliance officer, you will deliver high quality, professional and compliant governance across the charity, nationally and in supporting our network of support groups (see About IA) ensuring we comply with statutory regulations, that protect our members and the charity itself while applying best practice principles.

This role is not limited to the Birmingham area, and you may be expected to travel outside of this area.
Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification.
