The LSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Partnerships Executive (New Business) to lead on identifying and engaging with a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters, in liaison with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager. 

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager and Director of Development to develop new sponsorship opportunities, taking into account current corporate priorities and sector trends. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we develop our engagement opportunities and memberships to ensure they remain current and attractive in the new climate.

This role is initially on a fixed-term contract basis for 12 months, with the potential to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

Identifying and engaging a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters
 

• Research and identify possible corporate partners for the LSO, preparing updates to discuss with the wider LSO Corporate Development team 
• Lead on initial contact with cold prospects, securing introductory meetings for the LSO, preparing briefings and attending meetings with a colleague from the Development team 
• Identify possible corporate supporters for particular areas of the LSO’s work, including Barbican concerts, international tours, accessible ticket schemes, education and community projects, major fundraising galas, as well as broader initiatives such as improving sustainability and fulfilling the LSO’s DEI plan
• Utilise LSO concerts at the Barbican and other LSO events to attract new prospects, ensuring that all leads are thoroughly progressed
• Work within the Corporate Development team to develop ongoing cultivation plans for the most promising contacts and prepare compelling proposals as needed, and maintain prospect planning within a wider corporate fundraising strategy
• Work with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop new opportunities for support, and build a strong prospect pipeline, taking into account current sponsorship and corporate support trends 
• Keep abreast of trends in corporate partnerships in the arts and the broader charity sector to ensure the LSO continues to offer competitive packages 

We are looking for someone with experience in:

• Identifying and connecting with prospective corporate partners, either in the charity or commercial sector (at least two years experience)
• Writing compelling proposals in response to a business need or objectives

Job Purpose

As part of the four strong events team, this role is responsible for coordinating the delivery of numerous educational events throughout the year. Main Purpose and Deliverables

• End to end event, speaker and customer support specifically for the TTT and CESR events and as delegated for the education and seminar programme.

Last year we saw a 133% growth in the numbers of young people facing homelessness coming through our doors. Now, nearly half of them are - or recently have been - sleeping rough and with the numbers of young rough sleepers in the capital growing at an alarming rate, New Horizon Youth Centre has had to take decisive action to unlock support and housing for this group. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Alongside this you will need a keen eye for operational detail, have experience of delivering homelessness services, and be passionate about piloting new solutions to prevent homelessness among young people. Women in Prison is a national, women-led, feminist organisation. We deliver front line support to women harmed by the criminal justice system, through our work in prisons, in the community and ‘through the prison gate’ as they resettle back into their communities. Position Objective:

The Mid-Level Giving Officer will support PETA’s impact and growth through their work with an exciting portfolio of mid-level donors typically giving £250 - £999 size gifts. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of cultivating, stewarding and soliciting from this pool of valued supporters, including Vanguard Society Members, to provide a first-rate donor experience while deepening members’ engagement and financial support. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain a portfolio of Vanguard Society donors and prospects
• Creating engaging donor journeys and presenting opportunities for deeper engagement
• Develop and implement donor-specific plans of strategic communication touches by phone, email and mail. This will include updates on PETA’s progress and victories, messages of gratitude, invitations to events, and asks to donors to increase their financial support. 
• Manage a portfolio of Vanguard Society and mid-level donors, each giving £250 + or with the capacity to make annual gifts at a higher level (at one time as well as cumulatively), including cultivating and stewarding each donor to increase their engagement and giving.
• Solicit and close gifts from assigned mid-level donors.
• Regularly qualify new prospects and donors in their capacity, inclination, affinity, and readiness to give.
• Track and achieve key activity and revenue metrics, while meeting weekly with the manager to report on progress, challenges, and opportunities.

About the role:

This role is for an events person who can support our training and development courses. These courses are delivered either face-to-face or hybrid and are often delivered by a team of the organisation’s members. We use tools such as WebEx, MS Teams and Slido to support the delivery. There is an agreed schedule for the rest of 2024 for our public (open) training plus some bespoke, in-house training to be agreed upon with clients. There will also be additional in-house training to be secured for the remainder of 2024 and the first part of 2025.

The role holder will work within our professional development team, headed up by the director of professional development. They will report directly to the director and work alongside other team members to deliver an effective apprenticeship programme.

Our working pattern is hybrid, with attendance in the office expected for three days per week, including every Wednesday. You may also be expected to attend events across the UK and overseas.

Key responsibilities include:

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet the agreed requirements and budget, liaising with the DPD as required.
• Organise and attend volunteer Working Party meetings as required.
• Working with the volunteers, external suppliers and DPD, ensure all requirements are clearly defined, appropriate and in place for the course to be delivered.
• Liaise with suppliers and contributors to deliver and sign off the online activity.
• Work with the DPD and others to identify potential speakers.
• Support the DPD to negotiate and agree contracts with speakers.
• Work with clients and speakers to agree on delivery dates.
• Process bookings via iMIS, including sending confirmations to delegates.
• Respond to queries from potential delegates and their employers.
• Support current delegates with queries on their programme and progress.
• Work with the DPD and Financial Controller to put together the draft budget for specific events, bursary scheme, or online development activities.
• Supply up-to-date information on the bursary holder’s progress and course uptake to inform budgetary, marketing, and other management decisions.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will need experience managing events (face to face and hybrid) including liaising with speakers and managing the technology. You will be able to work with colleagues to identify and contact potential speakers. You will also be able to manage the budget for the course delivery. To be successful at the organisation, you will need to be able to work in a small team, be flexible in accommodating changing priorities and thrive in an ever-changing environment.

You will also bring with you the following skills and experience:

• A qualification or experience in event management including online and bespoke courses.
• Strong planning and prioritisation skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent oral and written English.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills including record-keeping and attention to detail.
• Excellent Customer Service skills.

• Basic financial awareness and understanding for example working to a budget and controlling costs.
• General IT skills including MS Office (e.g. Word mail merges and Excel reporting).
• An aptitude to learn new software/portals and experience with customer databases such as iMIS, webinars and eLearning platforms will be an advantage.

A daily lunch service is at the heart of our day-centre delivery for young people experiencing homelessness. For many of our young people, lunch is their only hot, nutritious meal of the day. We are looking for a passionate Chef to work independently in our kitchen to deliver a daily meal for up to 100 young people, staff and volunteers. You will have responsibility for planning, preparing and serving food that makes a real difference to people's lives. You will need to have experience of catering to large numbers and managing professional kitchen paperwork, and the drive to maintain high food hygiene standards. An exciting opportunity has come up to join the Community Fundraising team at Cystic Fibrosis Trust. You will be joining a dynamic community fundraising team at an exciting period of growth in our fundraising programme.  You will be organised and a great relationship builder, with excellent communications skills which you will use to engage and help to deliver the best fundraising support. 

You will work along side the Community Development and Fundraising Manager and the Digital and Social Community Fundraiser and be responsible for providing a high level of administrative and triage support for Community Fundraising activity, with specific responsibility for accurate data inputting and exceptional initial stewardship of community fundraising supporters.

Our current fundraising activities vary to include a wide range of supporter led events (Team CF [1]), ranging from football tournaments to bake sales, silent discos, balls and more. You will also support in the delivery of our fundraising campaigns with a key focus on Wear Yellow Day [2] and Festive fundraising [3].

The Community Fundraising team all work from home and regularly keep in touch with weekly online team meetings, individual catchups as required, as well as in person meetings throughout the year. This role would suit someone who is passionate about relational fundraising, is extremely organised and can work both on their own and in a team.  
 
Typical responsibilities in the role are:

- To triage and respond to incoming enquiries, material requests and bookings via phone & email, efficiently and accurately. 
- To ensure the management of accurate supporter records/bookings for key community events using third party external sites such as Enthuse to support this
- Engage with fundraising supporters and potential supporters to deliver exceptional stewardship and understanding people’s needs and challenges
- To assist in the correspondence with and development of fundraisers and donors, to ensure they have the support and fundraising materials they need to reach their fundraising goals and have an exceptional supporter experience
- Create and amend supporter records on the database in an accurate manner and within agreed standards ensuring data is always managed securely and effectively. 
- Update Community Pipeline with activity and income details and us this platform to provide data on fundraising activity.

This is a home-based role with some travel throughout the UK. You will be able to take Time Off In Lieu (TOIL) for this and claim travel and subsistence allowances.

About the PVRI
We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease.

PVD is a serious condition which can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting and light-headedness. It can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised, or well-understood.

We bring together an international network of professionals to improve clinical care, education and PVD research. The network comprises thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry partners, supported by our small team in Bermondsey, London. Together we deliver conferences, e-learning, an academic journal, and we raise awareness of the condition.

Much of the work is done by international working groups, and we’re seeking a new Project Coordinator to provide administrative and project support to those groups.

About the role
The job involves co-ordinating and servicing meetings across different time zones, maintaining workgroup records, developing surveys, pulling together academic papers for publication, event planning, and project work.

We’re looking for someone with excellent organisational and administrative skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to write and adapt complex information to produce clear, accurate and accessible documents in English.
