About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced fundraiser to join a successful and thriving team. Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. The post holder will be expected to work to actively drive sales of RSCM products such as ‘Hymnpact!’ (a singing resource aimed at encouraging singing in primary schools), sales of events such as singing courses, and membership subscriptions; and in some instances voluntary giving. The Ripple Pond is a charity that supports adult family members of physically and/or psychologically injured British Armed Forces personnel and veterans. Many of these individuals and family members are hard to reach and often isolated.
Your role will be to ensure that more and more of the military community, professionals and other interested parties know who we are and how to access our support.
You will also help to organise our exciting programme of online talks and activities for our Members (service-users) to help ensure they are well-informed, involved and feel part of a supportive community. Making sure that Members are always involved in generating ideas and production.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic and determined, but you also need to be invested in our mission as a charity and care about people.
This role is about;
• working with a wide range of groups and individuals to help raise awareness of the charity and to create opportunities to identify new Members (service users);
• being responsible for networking, identifying, and establishing partnerships with key individuals and organisations and nurturing existing relationships;
• developing and rolling out strategies to engage with hard-to-reach and isolated military carers and families;

The organisation is transitioning away from being a association-management / volunteer-led model to a small secretariat, hiring its first CEO and five other positions, including this most senior finance role. The Pituitary Foundation is the UK’s leading charity providing support and information for people living with pituitary conditions, their families, friends and carers. We are based in an office in central Bristol, with some staff and volunteers working remotely throughout the UK. Pituitary conditions are uncommon, usually lifelong and can be life threatening. Conditions include acromegaly, Cushing's, prolactinoma, AVP-Deficiency and hypopituitarism.
It is an exciting time to join The Foundation. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary throughout 2024 and are working towards our ambitious strategy which we are excited to achieve. Our new website, and CRM, combined with robust processes and procedures offers a strong foundation, for a new CEO to build on.
About the Role
This role will combine the ambition of The Foundation without losing the core importance of being a person-centred patient support group, offering kindness and support at challenging times. You will bring excellent interpersonal skills, as well as financial acumen and an appetite for seeing the best possible service delivered to a wide demographic.
Location: Based in the Bristol office, with flexibility for hybrid working
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000
Reports to: Chair and Board of Trustees
Holiday: 30 days plus statutory bank holidays
Pension: 5% employer contribution

About the role
As the Digital Content & Social Media Lead, you’ll be responsible for generating creative and compelling content for our digital channels which promotes our charity’s services, as well as coordinating content delivery across our social media platforms.
You’ll be collaborating with our digital and comms teams to ensure brand consistency and user-focus, managing, developing and executing social media strategies, and leveraging audience insights to optimise our digital presence and reach wider audiences.
You’ll work with internal teams to understand their content needs, and using your digital skills and knowledge, create and schedule content targeted to different audiences, which increases awareness, drives engagement, and meets organisational goals.
We are recruiting for someone who is:
- Skilled in digital copywriting and experienced in producing digital content that drives engagement and conversion, as well as being accessible, inclusive and, most importantly, meeting user needs.
- Passionate about search engine optimisation and experienced in using SEO techniques, strategies and tools to deliver content with high search visibility and traction.
- Experienced in social media management and social strategy development, using scheduling tools and social media analytics to manage multiple social media channels for a brand or organisation.
- A strong and effective communicator, with the ability to convey information clearly, effectively and consistently to a range of internal and external audiences.
- Collaborative in their approach to work, comfortable working with teams at all levels of the organisation.

About the role
We are looking for a new Helpline, Referral and Information Advocate to join our Contact Centre team. We are seeking applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn and a desire to help those in need of support or already have an IAP City and Guilds Level 4.
About you
Desirably you will have some experience of working in advocacy, or providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.

You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
