We are seeking to recruit two Development Workers for Salford’s flagship Wellbeing Matters programme.
The Wellbeing Matters programme is a Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) led initiative delivered by Salford CVS in partnership with five VCSE anchor organisations. The Programme focuses on Person and Community Centred Approaches to improving the wellbeing of Salford people that are commissioned by NHS Greater Manchester, Salford’s five Primary Care Networks, and Salford Integrated Commissioning.
Wellbeing Matters Programme has two core elements, firstly community connecting / social prescribing. This connects people referred through health professionals with a non-medical need to local community assets to support an individual’s wellbeing, independence, and reduce social isolation. The programme aims to support people feel more connected to their communities, providing confidence, and social interaction connections, linking individuals to local activities and services. The main aim is to support individuals become prepared on how to manage their own health and wellbeing.
The second core element of the Wellbeing Matters programme supports the development and maintenance of the VCSE ecosystem that supports social prescribing through volunteering, voluntary action, community activities, investment and assuring quality of groups and activities. This element of Wellbeing Matters includes a team of Development Workers whose role is to develop the capacity of local VCSE groups and activities that ensures a healthy voluntary, community and social enterprise eco-system to socially prescribe into.

We're looking for an empathic and energetic Helpline Co-ordinator to join the Helpline Management Team. You'll be working closely with our Helpline Supervisor and Helpline ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor), co-ordinating the smooth running of all aspects of TST’s Helpline service supporting survivors of rape, sexual abuse, harassment and bullying.
You will also provide administrative, practical and emotional support for TST’s survivor forum meetings. Experience of supporting group sessions will be an advantage.
You will ideally have a background in recruiting, training and supporting volunteers. Effective communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential and you will be able to work sensitively and confidently with difficult topics.
You will be responsible for supporting and attending internal meetings, co-ordinating rotas and supporting the Helpline and Call Handlers during opening hours.
You will maintain accurate records and part of your role will include gathering statistics for monitoring and reporting processes.
You will ideally have previous experience of working on a helpline and/or working in the voluntary sector, but please don’t be put off from applying if you don’t meet all requirements. As CTA's Business Development Manager, your role involves increasing the uptake of MiDAS training and growing CTA membership. The Associate Director for HR Operations is an exciting and new role at the College in which you will work collaboratively with all Divisions to support a range of operational and strategic HR activities, as well as embracing and contributing to College wide projects and the enhancement of the People & Culture Division.

The HR Operations team is responsible for developing initiatives and tools to support the achievement of RCPCH’s strategic objectives.
