Job description

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our caring and experienced day centre team as a driver and support worker. You will be driving clients to and from their homes each day in our minibus and then working with them at the centre during the day.

Both full-time and part-time roles are available.

Full-time is 35 hours (Mon - Fri), 9am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break, while part time can be 21 or 28 hours (3 or 4 days and according to rota), 9am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break)

Please note that a clean driving licence is essential for this role. You will need a D1 driving licence or we can train you to drive one of our mini-buses.

Purpose of the job:

- To drive clients to and from their homes and the day centre.

- To provide assistance with personal care and support, daily living tasks or activities to clients within our day centre to support them attain their full potential, maximise options available and encourage choice, participation and motivation.
