The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a MEL Manager to join the team in London or Brussels. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution in a newly created role.
In this role you will strengthen CAF’s capacity to measure, evaluate, and learn from its climate impact initiatives. This role ensures that strong evidence and insights guide continuous improvement with a particular focus on the effective delivery of the AAQD implementation programme.
As MEL Manager you will act as the MEL focal point, managing reporting, evidence generation and dissemination both internally and externally, of the respective programme. The application of lessons and evidence is crucial to successful delivery during the two-year timeframe of the programme. The post holder will lead on developing and delivering a learning plan to support the impact of the programme and its future direction.
The role will focus on the design and implementation of a programme level MEL system and associated tools and processes, to optimise programme efficacy and promote the use of data and evidence in driving results.
Working across the MEL, EU and other Portfolio teams, you will apply CAF’s organisational MEL system and tools for the benefit of our work in the EU whilst also strengthening CAF’s contribution to impact overall.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience;
- Solid experience developing and managing MEL frameworks (including Theories of Change and results frameworks) and their implementation in large international projects and programmes, ideally in a global philanthropy, air quality, and/or climate change or international development context
- A strong understanding and experience of embedding equity in MEL approaches
- Experience fostering a culture of - and mechanisms for - openness and learning across a team of multiple partners and geographies
- Demonstrable experience synthesizing lessons, evidence and their application from large volumes of data and communicating in a clear and structured manner
- Strong data analysis skills and experience, specifically in MS Excel
- Some experience of various MEL tools and approaches such as outcome harvesting, most significant change, participatory evaluation alongside experience/understanding of quantitative MEL tools and approaches
- Experience designing and managing external evaluations for useful, action-focused learning outputs and evaluations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing and refining Theories of Change, including problem analysis/needs assessment, causal pathways and assumptions.

WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.
Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.
Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.

About this role
Over the past two years, SPANA has made significant investments in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL), culminating in the establishment of an independent MEAL team within the Global Programmes Directorate. Led by the Head of Data Insight and MEAL, this team works collaboratively with the Programme Quality and Development, Animal Health and Welfare and Education, Community Education and SBCC teams to strengthen evidence-based programming and impact measurement.
The MEAL Manager plays a central role in advancing SPANA’s MEAL systems, providing technical expertise and support to SPANA UK staff and over 20 global partners. The role contributes to the design and implementation of MEAL frameworks that effectively measure the organisation’s impact on the health and welfare of working animals. In addition, the MEAL Manager promotes innovative approaches to data use, supports evidence-based learning and line manages the Data Insights Officer.
Contract, location and salary
This is a full-time (34.5 hours per week), permanent role. This role is UK based, hybrid working with regular attendance (approximately 1-2 days per month, or more if preferred) in our London office. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK currently and for the duration of the contract.
The salary for this position is c.£45,000 per annum, subject to skills and experience. SPANA is pleased to offer a range of benefits including a generous company pension scheme with 10% employer contribution if the employee contributes a minimum 5%, and health care cash plan.

About the role
Galop is looking for an experienced monitoring and evaluation professional to act as a specialist lead within the charity on monitoring, analysing and evaluating our internal services data for robust research and reporting. You will work with Galop’s services, including our Helplines, Advocacy & Support and Therapeutic Services and will report to the Director of Services.

- Provide high-level advisory support and capacity building to grantees, focusing on technical assistance and strengthening partner impact.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning
- Build open and trusting relationships with partners to understand impact, successes and challenges, and share learning and adaptations.
- Work closely with the Head of Impact & Engagement to contribute to portfolio-wide impact analysis and strategic learning reports.
- Conduct regular in-person site visits to partners.
- Support the development and use of partner-friendly monitoring evaluation and learning (MEL) tools and frameworks, ensuring data is meaningful, consistent, and used to drive improvement.
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Programmes and Grants Operations Manager to ensure smooth operations of all grant management work.
- Participate in partner learning and collaboration activities and workshops with the Head of Impact & Engagement and Communications & Engagement Manager.
- Work closely with Impact and Engagement team to develop content for internal and external communications.
- Liaise with external technical experts and sector networks to support promotion of the Maitri Trust’s work and partner capacity development.
- At peak times (particularly during calls for proposals) provide backstop support to the Grants Operations Manager as necessary.
YOUR SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PROFILE
Essential
- 7+ years of proven experience in grant management within an international development or philanthropic context.
- Significant experience in providing technical assistance, capacity building, or advisory support to organisations.
- Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, or an undergraduate degree plus specific experience in international development or philanthropic contexts.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with experience in impact assessment and portfolio analysis.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across different cultural contexts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience in preparing reports and recommendations.
- Experience in open call funding processes, grant application review processes, and due diligence.
- Knowledge of monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.
- Ability to travel internationally and work across different time zones.
Desirable
- Experience working with educational initiatives in South Africa, India, or similar contexts.

Purpose of the Role
The Charity Operations Manager will take ownership of the day to day operational delivery of Interakt’s core activities. You will manage the planning, scheduling and facilitation of the sessions; oversee a small operations team (session facilitators, business admin, Bookkeeper); ensure compliance, processes and procedures are in place; and support the organisation’s growth and operational effectiveness
Key Responsibilities
Session & Programme Delivery
Oversee the day-to-day management of all sessions: planning, scheduling, and resources are arranged and facilitators are working effectively, as a team, towards a united goal.
Work with the facilitators to maintain high standards of safeguarding, session delivery & quality, , participant experience and inclusion.
Monitor attendance, participant feedback and outcomes; ensure monitoring and evaluation data is captured and reported.
Troubleshoot issues in session delivery (facilitator absence, session structure, session content, participant concerns) and ensure continuity.
Work with session delivery team and Charity Director to communicate communications to the participants guardians/care homes/ parents.
Collaborate with other senior team members, including the board of trustees to align session schedules with organisational goals.
Team Management & Support
Line-manage the small team: session facilitators, business admin support, and work alongside the Bookkeeper. Provide coaching, supervision, performance reviews and professional development.
Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture.
Allocate workloads, manage rotas, cover arrangements and ensure team resilience.
Be part of the recruitment process, induction and training of new facilitators and support staff as necessary.
Operations, Finance & Administration
Work closely with the Bookkeeper to oversee financial operations relevant to sessions: budgets for sessions, facilitator fees, travel/expenses and resources.
Ensure administrative systems are robust: scheduling software, attendance registers, invoicing, record-keeping, risk assessments, health and safety compliance, safeguarding disclosures.
Work with the Charity Director to draft and implement policies and procedures for operations: session standards, safeguarding, equality, risk management, data protection.
Strategic & Organisational Support
Contribute to the strategic planning of Interakt, including growth of session reach, exploring new delivery models, and continuous improvement of operational processes.
Produce operational reports for the Charity Director and Board: session metrics, staff performance, budgets, risk register updates.
Work with the Charity Director and Board of Trustees to support grant applications: providing data, costings, feasibility and operational perspective.
Stay informed about sector best-practice in charity operations, group delivery, safeguarding and community engagement.
Person Specification
Essential Experience & Skills
Proven experience in operations management within the charity, third sector or community engagement environment.
Experience managing a team (staff and/or facilitators) and overseeing day-to-day delivery of programmes or sessions.
Strong organisational and project-management skills: able to plan, prioritise, meet deadlines, coordinate multiple programmes.
Budgetary experience: understanding of basic financial management, liaising with finance/accounting teams.
Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to work with facilitators, participants from diverse backgrounds, and external partners.
Clear understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, inclusion and equality issues.
Confident using digital tools (including Microsoft Office) and comfortable implementing and improving systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable producing reports and presenting to senior management or trustees.
A self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to adapt in a small charity environment.
Full UK driving licence with no restrictions.
