As part of our continuing commitment to improve and enhance our relationships and communications with our donors and stakeholders, we are currently seeking a Marketing & Projects Co-ordinator who will be based at our Birmingham office.
WHAT WE OFFER
Islamic Help acknowledges that our employees are our most valuable resource. Therefore, we provide a variety of benefits aimed at promoting their professional growth, as well as supporting their mental and physical well-being, and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
- Holiday entitlement of 30 days per financial year (for full-time roles; includes bank holidays entitlement – due to the nature of the role, you may be required to work on bank holidays)
- Personal learning and development opportunities.
- Automatic enrolment into our workplace Pension Plan (option to opt out).
- Employee Assistance Programme for support with health & wellbeing, financial matters, and any other assistance.
- Free office car park for staff.
The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing & Projects Coordinator to join our high-performing marketing function at Islamic Help. This is a unique role that sits at the intersection of project management, internal communications, and marketing delivery.
You will not be solely responsible for designing social media posts, editing videos, or running ad campaigns - we already have expert teams in place for that. However, you will be invited into those processes, with opportunities to observe, contribute, and grow. We are always open to ideas that improve our work, and there is definitely scope for development in this area of marketing over time.
The core of this role is to co-ordinate, connect, and communicate - ensuring that everything runs smoothly, projects are delivered on time, and the many moving parts of the marketing department stay aligned.
This role doesn’t require deep experience in marketing execution. At its heart, it’s a project management and stakeholder coordination position. However, it’s ideal for someone with an interest in marketing and communications who wants to gain exposure and experience across a full marketing ecosystem - including brand, paid media, video, SEO, digital infrastructure, and more - in a fast-paced, mission- and results-driven environment.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Marketing & Technology, the Senior Marketing Officer, and a broad mix of outsourced specialists, including Google Ads experts, SEO consultants, graphic designers, videographers, performance marketers, and UI/UX professionals.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a structured, high-output setting, wants to be part of work that makes a real difference globally, and is eager to gain deep experience in the full A-Z of how a professional marketing team functions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
- Track and manage marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, to spec, and aligned with brand standards
- Coordinate between internal departments and external specialists (e.g. video teams, print houses, performance marketing agencies)
- Schedule meetings, follow up on action points, and ensure teams stay on track
- Maintain clarity on project timelines, tasks, ownerships, and deadlines
- Manage platforms such as Asana, Hootsuite, and shared file systems to monitor workflow and progress.
Internal Communication & Stakeholder Liaison
- Gather marketing-related needs from other departments across the organisation
- Clarify briefs, manage expectations, and feed this information to relevant creatives or external vendors
- Ensure alignment between campaign objectives and deliverables
- Flag blockers or conflicts early and work with senior leadership to resolve them.
Marketing Support (Fluency, Not Ownership)
- Engage with marketing tools and channels (e.g. Hootsuite, social platforms, content schedules), not as the creator, but as a coordinator
- Analyse and review creative outputs (e.g. social posts, videos, copy) for basic accuracy, alignment, and tone
- Provide constructive feedback or flag potential issues to relevant team members
- Respond to or escalate social media engagement (e.g. DMs, comment moderation) when needed.
Research & Trend Monitoring
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, or gaps within the sector
- Feed relevant insight to the Senior Marketing Officer and Director to help shape campaign direction
- Monitor sector activity and competitor positioning.
About you
For us, it’s not just what we do, it’s how we do it. Our values are important to us and we’re looking for people who will live and breathe them.
Why This Role Might Be Right for You
- You want to build your career in marketing and/or project management without needing to create all the assets yourself
- You love organisation, timelines, responsibility, and making things happen
- You’re a natural communicator who can keep teams and tasks aligned
- You work well under pressure and don’t shy away from responsibility
- You’re passionate about doing work that supports meaningful causes and helps people around the world
- You want to grow within a professional, supportive team that’s delivering real-world impact.
Skills & Attributes
Required
- 100% command of English, both written and verbal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Extremely IT literate, with the ability to learn new platforms and systems quickly
- Strong project management and coordination abilities
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Calm and solution-oriented under pressure
- Comfortable and proactive in seeking guidance or help when needed
- Passionate about the work, the sector, and making a difference — this is not the right role for someone simply looking to clock in and out.
Desirable
- Familiarity with marketing platforms (e.g. Hootsuite, HubSpot, Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, etc.)
- Some prior experience in a fast-paced or stakeholder-heavy environment
- A career interest in marketing, communications, or project management.

Yateley Industries is a unique and ambitious charity which has provided employment in our factory, training, accommodation and community engagement for disabled and neurodivergent adults for over 90 years. Our mission is to create a more inclusive society where everyone can thrive.
Under the new management, the charity has developed additional activities, including Community Hub, Food pantry and Café, and is looking to reestablish the design and printing roots of the organisation. We have a new set of trustees, a dynamic leadership team, a re-energised workforce and a strategy for the development of our site.

That’s a testament to what’s possible here - and it’s just the beginning.
An opportunity has arisen to join Yateley’s entrepreneurial management team in the position of Trusts & Grants Manager, taking over and further developing on the strong foundations that have been laid in the last few years. There is still much to build and plenty of challenges to navigate but we believe this is a once in a career opportunity to shape a high-impact, high-potential function from the inside out.
If you're ambitious and want to leave a legacy, this is your moment.
Please submit an up to date CV and a Cover Letter of no more than two sides of A4, outlining why you are a good fit for the role. Make sure to reference your skills and experience to the Job Description.

About Charity Right
We are a focused and passionate international food charity on a mission to free people from the devastating effects of hunger. Since our founding, we have provided over 40 million meals across 7 countries, serving those who need it most with dignity and care.
Our Mission
We believe that no child should go to school hungry. Our single-cause focus allows us to be exceptionally effective at what we do best: providing nutritious school meals that keep children in classrooms and give them the opportunity to break free from poverty through education.
About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Fundraising & Events to lead the development and growth of a high-performing department focused on generating income through national and international challenge events and corporate partnerships.
This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for designing the fundraising and events strategy, building the structure and team to deliver it, and ensuring scalable, sustainable growth. You will shape the long-term direction of the department, ensure the right people and processes are in place, and play a key role in supporting the organisation’s broader income generation goals — including supporting the CEO with major donor stewardship.
While the department’s primary focus is income growth through challenge events and corporate partnerships, the role also includes oversight of a small number of legacy community events and relationships ensuring continuity and reputational stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Department Building
- Develop and lead the overall strategy for the Fundraising & Events department in line with the organisation’s income growth objectives.
- Design and build a departmental structure capable of delivering scalable fundraising through events and partnerships.
- Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing team, ensuring clarity of roles, effective delegation, and strong performance management.
- Establish systems, workflows, and processes that support growth, quality, and consistency across all fundraising activity.
- Set and monitor departmental KPIs, targets, and budgets, reporting regularly to the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
Challenge Events Programme
- Oversee the strategic growth and diversification of the organisation’s challenge events portfolio, building on successful formats and expanding into new areas.
- Provide leadership and oversight of event planning, delivery, and evaluation — ensuring the team has the tools and capabilities to execute effectively.
- Identify and guide strategic partnerships with external groups and communities that can support participant growth and event reach.
Corporate Fundraising
- Design and implement a new corporate fundraising strategy
- Lead the identification and prioritisation of strategic corporate opportunities.
- Guide the creation of partnership models, engagement materials, and stewardship plans, supporting the team in execution.
- Develop the necessary infrastructure (e.g. pipeline management, prospecting systems) for long-term corporate fundraising success.
Major Donor Support
- Act as a senior partner to the CEO in managing and stewarding major donors.
- Ensure the department provides the research, briefing, and coordination required to support a best-in-class major donor experience.
Legacy Community Fundraising
- Provide oversight and continuity for a limited number of legacy community events, ensuring they are delivered with appropriate resource and quality.
- Work with the Fundraising & Events Manager to assess the future viability of these events and how they may integrate with or exit from the broader fundraising strategy.
- Maintain key relationships with mosque and school partners to preserve goodwill and support transitional planning.
Team Leadership
- Line manage the Fundraising & Events Manager, providing coaching, strategic direction, and performance support.
- Ensure the team structure remains fit for purpose as event formats, income goals, and capacity evolve.
- Delegate operational oversight of individual events and activities while maintaining accountability for departmental outcomes.
Cross-Organisational Leadership
- Represent fundraising and events at the senior leadership level, contributing to organisational strategy and decision-making.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.
- Uphold high standards of integrity, professionalism, and alignment with the charity’s values and mission.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Significant experience in a senior fundraising or income generation role, including designing and delivering strategy at a departmental level.
- Strong track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience growing and managing challenge events or mass participation programmes, either directly or through team leadership.
- Proven ability to develop income streams, including events and corporate fundraising, from inception to sustainability.
- Commercially minded, with strong strategic planning and budget management skills.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and comfort engaging at senior/executive levels.
- High levels of initiative, resilience, and the ability to lead in a remote-first environment.
Desirable
- Experience supporting major donor programmes or working in close partnership with a CEO or Director-level fundraiser.
- Familiarity with charity CRMs and performance reporting tools.
- Experience working within a faith-informed or values-driven organisation.
Working Culture:
We are a remote-first organisation. This role offers flexibility in working hours and location, with occasional UK travel required for key events and team meetings. You’ll be part of a purpose-driven leadership team committed to creativity, integrity, and delivering real-world impact.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Location: Remote Working
Reports to: CEO
Salary: £48,000 – £54,000, dependent on experience

Hybrid working with two days per week in Peterborough
Full-time, 35 hours per week
Are you passionate about international development and ensuring marginalised communities are able to access global health services? Do you want to be instrumental in ending one of the world’s most ancient diseases? Are you able to walk alongside our partners, across Africa and Asia, offering prayer, compassion and technical support, as they strive to transform the lives of some of the world’s most marginalised people? Is God calling you to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and serve those affected by leprosy?
Today, one person every two minutes is diagnosed with leprosy. It’s a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Left untreated, it causes permanent disability. Stigma means that people affected by this disease are often rejected by those closest to them and excluded from basic services.
Within our dynamic programmes team, you’ll be working alongside supportive colleagues who are passionate about ending leprosy and transforming lives. We have a culture of learning and growing together and will provide training in best practice, ensuring excellence in all we do. You will have at least three years’ work experience in an international development programming role or similar setting (ideally in the global South), with a degree in a relevant discipline. You will have monitoring, evaluation and research skills, with the capacity to work on your own initiative and will be an excellent cross-cultural communicator. We are particularly interested to hear from people with expertise in disability services, public health, research, quality assurance, or social enterprise development. However, those with experience in community development and working in fragile states would also be most welcome to apply.
You will be responsible for the development of UK-funded programmes, supporting the capacity development of overseas partners and managing income streams from large donors. In addition, you will champion our work on the global stage and engage in national and global advocacy on Neglected Tropical Diseases (including leprosy), global health and disability issues. This will require travel overseas for approximately eight weeks per year.
The Leprosy Mission Great Britain (TLMGB) is a leading international Christian development organisation with over 150 years’ experience and is part of The Leprosy Mission worldwide family. TLMGB serves the poorest of the poor in 9 countries across Africa and Asia, raising funds and developing partner capacity to provide life-changing healthcare, training and job opportunities for people who have been excluded and rejected.
TLMGB has a zero-tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, our beneficiaries, staff and communities we come into contact with. Recruitment to roles within TLMGB includes, in particular, criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences. In addition, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a work health assessment questionnaire.
TLMGB is an explicitly Christian charity. Working alongside our Christian partners in often challenging and difficult circumstances, we come together regularly in prayer and also attend devotional prayer meetings. There is also an expectation to offer prayer to support our partners overseas and as such this role carries an occupational requirement to be a practising Christian. We are committed to diversity and welcome applications from appropriately qualified candidates from all sections of the community who have a right to work in the UK.
To apply and for more information on this role and the work of TLMGB, please visit our website.
Closing date: 9am on Friday 25 July 2025.
Pre-liminary interviews via Zoom: Date to be agreed.
In-person interviews at the Peterborough Office: Wednesday 6 August 2025.
We may close the vacancy early depending on the numbers of applicants. To avoid disappointment please apply early.
Registered Charity number 1050327.
