Supporter Development Manager

Role Overview
The Talent Set are delighted to partner with a charitable organisation on a fantastic Supporter Development Manager role. This position focuses on increasing income from individual and community supporters through innovative engagement and collaborative fundraising initiatives, fostering sustainable relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to maximise fundraising income from individual givers and community groups.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to deliver seamless supporter experiences across various platforms and channels.
  • Utilise data insights to personalise supporter engagement, optimise journeys, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with data, marketing, and supporter-focused teams to deliver targeted campaigns, appeals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate supporter engagement metrics to inform continuous improvement in outreach and retention.
  • Leverage innovative approaches to supporter acquisition and retention, contributing towards organisational growth targets.
  • Foster strong relationships with supporters, ensuring their experience is recognised and valued, encouraging ongoing support.
  • Support the delivery of campaign objectives by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and reporting outcomes.
  • Promote organisational values and commitment to inclusive, impact-led fundraising practices.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in supporter or donor engagement, fundraising, or relationship management within a charity or non-profit.
  • Ideally international development experience - desired not essential
  • Strong understanding of supporter journeys, data-led insights, and targeted communication strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyse and use data to inform decision-making and campaign optimisation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable working collaboratively across teams.
  • Awareness of ethical fundraising practices and supporter confidentiality.
  • Creative thinker with an entrepreneurial approach to growing supporter bases and income.

What’s on Offer
Salary: £166.01 basic + £26.65 holiday
