CAAT is recruiting a Supporter Development Manager. Working closely with our Campaigns team and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the recruitment, retention, and engagement of supporters, and fundraising from these individuals.

A skilled communicator and natural relationship builder, you will have experience of developing supporter journeys which integrate campaigning, fundraising and engagement; ensuring that supporter data is held responsibly and used appropriately; and maximising income through regular giving, appeals and digital channels.

This is a permanent, four-day per week post, with a flexible location (based in our London office, or working from home, or from a shared workspace) with a salary of £40,060 (£50,075 pro rata), with a London weighting of £5,775 if applicable, plus 8% into a pension that doesn't invest in the arms trade.

Please note that a Cost of Living Increase will be applied from 1 January 2026, but has not been agreed at the time of posting.

The Legacy and In Memory Manager is a pivotal and rewarding role within the Fundraising and Marketing team at St Barnabas Hospice. You will lead the development and delivery of our Legacy and In Memory strategies, with a clear focus on growing sustainable income during an increasingly challenging economic climate.

This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, calm, and confident in supporting people at sensitive moments in their lives. You will ensure that every supporter who chooses to give in memory of a loved one, or through a gift in their Will, is treated with the utmost kindness, dignity, and respect. Stewardship will be at the heart of everything you do, ensuring supporters feel valued and connected to the impact of their generosity.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Marketing, you will work closely with Fundraising Managers and colleagues across the organisation to ensure plans are aligned, insight-led, and supporter-focused. You will champion and celebrate legacy and in memory giving both internally and externally, helping to raise awareness of the vital role these gifts play in enabling hospice care across Lincolnshire.

You will be accountable for an income target across Legacy and In Memory giving. This will involve understanding the market in which you operate, including the motivations and drivers behind this type of support, and using insight to inform strategy, campaigns, and stewardship activity.

You will be confident in working with senior managers, directors, and trustees, as well as building strong external relationships with solicitors, Will writers, and professional advisers. Through these partnerships, you will help secure long-term, sustainable funding and ensure St Barnabas Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to people living with life-limiting and terminal illness throughout Lincolnshire.

They will play a key role in helping to develop new services and where appropriate will take operational control of these.

About the Role

The Service Manager post holder will take the lead responsibility (under Ofsted registration) as the Registered Manager of CoramIAC. They will ensure the ongoing delivery of an outstanding VAA that is fully compliant with national minimum standards and regulations; and ensuring high quality adoption support and a sufficient supply of adopters that reflects the diversity of the countries they are adopting from.

CoramIAC predominantly serve prospective adopters from the global majority and as such recruit and train a highly diverse and skilled group of adopters to enable the best outcomes for children whilst also offering adopter and sector diversity for potentially harder to place children. This includes family groups and older children. Our offer to RAAs via our domestic program therefore delivers families for children who often wait the longest in the care system.

About you

We are looking for a proactive and visible finance professional who is able to engage and build relationships across the organisation as a pivotal member within a values-led high performing organisation. You will be a qualified accountant with proven track record of financial management awareness and a solid understanding of charity audits and statutory accounts preparation. You will have the ability to work with staff across the organisation in supporting good financial governance and oversight of financial operational matters. You will have the ability to analyse financial information and present this in a suitable format for the audience. You will have good ability to meet deadlines, be IT literate with an emphasis on financial systems, spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Excel. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and be able to work with minimum supervision.

About the role

The role will involve the management of the day-to-day financial activities, VAT, gift aid, payroll and the monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliations and statutory accounts preparation. The job holder will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, Finance Officer and volunteers within the team. There will be a requirement to work closely with the income generating staff, budget holders, auditors, banks and credit card providers on a regular basis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for managing the Finance Officer and Finance volunteer.

1. Business Offer development for HENRY 

• With colleagues in Business Development, ensure HENRY has a clear, costed and attractive offer for localities wanting to deliver HENRY in partnership. 

• Lead an annual review of costs and prices of our training, programmes and licensing to remain cost-effective, competitive and value for money.

• Work with colleagues in Family Support and Data and Evaluation Team to ensure reporting is timely, accurate and aligned with contractual obligations.

• Maintain organised and accessible records of all contracts, amendments and key dates. 

• Provide guidance, advice and training to staff on contract-related issues, interpretation and compliance, promoting consistent and confident practice across HENRY.

The Financial Accounting & Control Manager will report into the Head of Central Finance and lead a team of four, overseeing primary ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts production, tax compliance, and treasury management. The postholder will be responsible for ensuring operational effectiveness and technical compliance across financial processes, while providing high-quality financial advice and guidance to colleagues across the organisation.

The key duties of this Financial Accounting & Control Manager will be:

• Lead the production of consolidated statutory accounts for NSPCC and its subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with SORP and accounting standards.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce internal financial controls to ensure integrity of ledger and reporting.
• Manage VAT, direct tax, and corporate tax compliance, including planning, returns, and negotiations with HMRC.
• Oversee cash flow monitoring and treasury management, including investment and banking relationships.
• Critically evaluate and improve financial processes, documenting procedures and ensuring adherence across the team.
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of Financial Accountants and Finance Officers, ensuring workload management and staff development.

The successful candidate will have:

• A CCAB-qualified accountancy qualification with experience in a complex financial environment.
• Experience producing consolidated statutory accounts and managing external audits, ideally within the charity sector.
• Proven experience in implementing, documenting, and enforcing financial controls.
• Experience managing, developing, and motivating a small team.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to convey financial information to non-finance colleagues.

Purpose of the job

The successful candidate will be employed as part of the Evidence Team working in a supportive, dynamic and fast-moving environment. You will undertake water quality monitoring, co-ordinate networks of citizen scientists to monitor water quality, perform dataset analysis, perform water quality modelling, and provide advice and guidance on the best nature-based solutions. This job would suit somebody with experience in monitoring water quality and/or nature-based solutions, and working with volunteers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

        Support the delivery of various projects – including constructing work plans, achieving project milestones.

· Routine maintenance of probes, water testing kits and other field equipment.

· Data inputting, analysis, presentation and visualisation using a variety of software and online tools such as Excel, ArcGIS, QGIS.

· Production of high impact verbal and written reports aimed at a range of expert and non-expert audiences.

· Undertake surface water sampling and data collection, analysis and interpretation of results, desk-based studies and project reports and recommendations.

· Coordinate stakeholders across projects and partnerships to implement/co-develop new tools/approaches to data and evidence analysis/modelling.

· Method development and support of monitoring carried out by citizen scientists.

· Delivery of other types of project work, as and when required by project or team managers.

· Work outside in a riverside environment in a variety of weather conditions.

· Work with Thames21 colleagues to develop and implement Thames21’s vision.

Overall Purpose

This role works as part of a flexible delivery team to support the development, delivery and management of initiatives that enable and demonstrate our members ability to transform the NHS.

It works across our transformational programmes to support and facilitate a structured approach to the implementation and delivery of complex initiatives aimed at transformation within the NHS, within the organisation and in partnership with external stakeholders.

The post holder will play an important role in helping the organisation understand the context, shape our initiatives and capture the progress we’re making towards the change we seek.

Overall Objectives

The postholder will work with and support cross functional team working in / across a number of initiatives, supporting the development and delivery of a range of approaches to driving social change.

It will be responsible for the practical capture and collation of shared learning and identifying interdependencies between programmes and the team and supporting the delivery of impact for NHS charity members, communities and beneficiaries.

This role would suit a proactive, highly organised individual who enjoys working in a team to deliver impact and who wants to work across a range of approaches to deliver transformation within the NHS.

Key Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the role holder are as outlined below:

Development and Delivery

• Working with Programme Leads and Project Managers, establish and maintain robust up-to-date project management documentation to drive the implementation of NHS Charities Together transformational programmes: including capturing impact and benefits management in line with our overall strategic goals, risk and issue logs, managing milestones, workstream plans.
• Support Project Managers and Programme Leads and where delegated lead processes to convene, capture and synthesise evidence, data and insight from external sources to support the development and design of initiatives.
• Proactively build knowledge and understanding in the subject areas in which we develop initiatives, bringing this to bear in the shaping of existing initiatives and the development of new, and support wider organisational learnings in these domains.
• To review and assess proposed partnerships to support the delivery of initiatives.
• Regularly review and monitor impact against our strategic goals, identifying whether the strategic benefits and impact we seek are being achieved, and presenting recommendations for what progress means for the future strategic direction of our initiatives
• Adhere to internal and external governance processes by coordinating formal papers for key governance, review panels and advisory groups.
• Support the Programme Teams data and impact coordination by monitoring the measures dashboard.
• Support and where delegated lead the procurement and management of external evaluations.
• Coordinate and where delegated lead the delivery of learning and insight activity, including events, data capture, analysis and dissemination of learning and insight from our project related work. Support the production of reports or insight documents.

Stakeholder Management/ Internal and External Engagement

• Manage ongoing stakeholder relationships and partnerships across the breadth of the initiatives we operate, including help troubleshooting issues which may involve a degree of complexity
• Support colleagues in creating new resources and assisting in team planning and impact.
• Support with developing materials for and delivery of support our projects and their stakeholders including briefings, workshops, grant applications and reporting, case studies and training materials for different audiences.
• Work with the communications team to develop and deliver communications plans for programmes ensuring consistency and shared visions
• Coordinate project-specific engagements that are vital to the success of the programme, including with member NHS charities and other external partners.
• Form professional and beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders – including at a senior level, representing the department internally and externally, and bringing policy knowledge to bear to support their influencing in line with our strategic goals

This role will be responsible for delivering support to individuals experiencing complex ill mental health and substance misuse issues, targeting achievable outcomes that promote and deliver positive outcomes for tenants in our services.The post holder will be responsible for delivering evidence-based interventions with a holistic assessment to support personalised recovery and promotion of independent living skills. Multi-disciplinary team working will be a part of the role, utilising and offering additional support and advice from partners and wider network services.

Key Responsibilities

Support Assessment & Delivery

• Implement and deliver dual-diagnosis support through 1.1 and group sessions to tenants experiencing issues with poor mental health and substance misuse.
• Undertake joint holistic assessments and risk assessments with tenants participating in the service to determine service and support needs and identity where these can be met.
• Provide outcome-based support measured against goals, personal aspirations of the tenant, and their achievements.
• Working with tenants, encourage them to identify their own goals and work towards independence and resilience. The key aims are to reduce the need for acute clinical interventions and hospitalisations.
• Put in place with the tenant, agreed SMART targets with a range of evidence-based interventions that addresses areas of need, such as harm minimisation, prevention of relapse for those in addiction recovery, and improved self-awareness and motivation.
• Through collaborative working with other teams in the organisation, enhance the personalised and choice-led support plan of tenants to integrate with their tenancy support needs and reducing the risk of tenancy loss due to dual-diagnosis issues.
• Help reduce episodes of crisis though support initiatives such as peer-led support groups.
• Be proactive in observing and responding to changing characteristics of tenants receiving support, recognising deterioration in mental wellbeing and putting in place interventions that reduce the likelihood of more acute support needs.
• Be a point of contact for tenants who are on the verge of experiencing a crisis episode, providing appropriate support and interventions to help avoid the need to access acute services.
• Foster positive working relationships with external stakeholders, breaking down barriers and improving access to appropriate support services such as specialised mental healthcare and addiction recovery programmes.
• Develop effective community links that expands support resources that to be offered to tenants.
• Develop all support plans and coaching sessions to embrace the key elements and principles of Trauma Informed Practice and Psychologically Informed Environments.
• Keep up to date with strategies and methodologies used in the support sector to ensure dual-diagnosis support in the organisation remains at a high level for all tenants accessing it.
• Promote the achievements of tenants receiving support through KPI reporting and case studies.
• Recognise goals and aspirations achieved by individuals and using the evidence obtained, formulate and develop future support plans and strategies that enhance the service.
• Work with team leaders and managers to develop our lived experience support in a structured and safe way.
• Deliver practical harm reduction, relapse prevention, and coping strategy workshops.

Risk Management

• Ensure accurate and up to date risk assessments are undertaken, putting in place effective risk management plans to mitigate risk of harm, neglect, and any other areas of risk to the tenant, staff, and wider community.
•  Ensure all records and support plans are managed in compliance with organisational policies governing confidentiality, privacy, data sharing consent, and keeping to the requirements and principles of the UK GDPR.

General Responsibilities

• Support colleagues through the sharing of support strategies and techniques that will benefit tenants outside of dual-diagnosis sessions.
• Foster positive and effective working relationships with colleagues in the Housing and Support teams.
