About the role

As Director of Impact and Charitable Programmes, you will ensure every pound raised by the Charity delivers the greatest possible benefit for children, families and staff at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. This new senior leadership role carries significant autonomy, overseeing the strategy and operations of the charity’s grant-making function and the Art+ team.

You will lead the team managing grant applications, from small-scale requests to major projects, ensuring funds are strategically allocated, transparently managed, and rigorously evaluated to maximise impact.  Reporting to the CEO and working closely with internal colleagues, and a wide range of NHS partners, you will provide strategic oversight of key projects, monitor delivery and outcomes and embed a culture of evidence-based decision-making across the organisation.

In addition, you will lead and champion the charity-funded Art+ programme, supporting participatory arts initiatives that enhance the patient environment and contribute to creative therapeutic care.

As a visible and influential member of the Senior Leadership team, you will help shape organisational strategy, represent the charity externally and ensure governance, compliance and risk management underpin all decisions.

Carer Wellbeing Workers provide invaluable services to help improve carers’ resilience and ensure they are supported to maintain their caring roles. They provide tailored information and advice, practical, emotional and planning support, peer opportunities, contingency planning, active listening and through partnership working are pro-active in the identification of carers.

Using experience of working with adults and families, a working knowledge and / or lived experience of social care and health, the post holder will use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to offer carers one-to-one and group support either face to face, via the telephone or using virtual video mediums such as Zoom or MS Teams.  

The role is a mix of remote / homeworking and community venues. You will be expected to be readily able to travel across Arun to deliver carer support and on occasion to venues in Worthing and Adur and across the County to attend meetings and training as required.

Together, the charities Sands and Tommy’s have formed a Joint Policy Unit (JPU) focussed on achieving policy change that will save more babies’ lives during pregnancy and the neonatal period and on tackling inequalities in loss, so that everyone can benefit from the best possible outcomes.

The JPU’s mission is to secure policy change that will reduce rates of miscarriage, stillbirth, pre-term birth and neonatal death, and to work to eliminate inequalities in these outcomes.

While there is widespread agreement on the need for change to improve the safety of maternity and neonatal services, what that change looks like is not clear.  To save more babies’ lives we believe that a continued focus is required, and that governments should set new commitments to reduce perinatal mortality and preterm births, focused on matching the best-performing countries in Europe.

This role will be crucial to the continued success of the JPU unit; leading, shaping and coordinating all the unit’s work. 

We are looking for an independent and assertive problem-solver, a policy expert who can manage multiple priorities, take the initiative, lead the national conversation and is as excited as we are about taking the helm of this venture for both of our organisations.

The successful candidate will need to have a substantial track record of effectively leading and implementing national policy and influencing programmes, driving change and achieving the desired impact.

GNDR is seeking a motivated and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as Head of Fundraising, Impact and Communications on a full-time basis for a fixed-term maternity cover of one year.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving forward GNDR’s fundraising and communications strategy, increasing our reach, impact, and income in alignment with the organisation’s strategic priorities.

You will lead a fully integrated function spanning fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and communications. Salary

The gross annual salary for this role is £56,098 per annum based on working full-time.

The children and young people’s bereavement programme in Wales is looking to increase and improve its current services. We are looking for people to take this team forward over the next few years. About the Role:

The County Organiser plays a crucial role in the success of Devon FYFC, supporting and developing our members and clubs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting people, has a strong understanding of young farmers, and is committed to enabling young people to grow and succeed.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with members, YF clubs, and stakeholders.

Research and Impact Data

This is a key role in the Freedom Fund’s Research & Evaluation team, playing a key role in measuring the real-world impact of anti-slavery initiatives across the globe. You’ll also contribute to research and evaluation projects that deepen understanding and improve the ways we work to prevent and address modern slavery.

In this role, you’ll manage the digital backbone of our data systems, ensuring that impact is measured consistently and meaningfully. You’ll provide colleagues and partners with the tools and training they need to monitor progress and address challenges. Through engaging dashboards and innovative visualisations, you’ll turn complex data into accessible insights for a wide range of audiences: from grassroots partners to the Freedom Fund’s senior leadership.

You’ll report to the Head of Research & Evaluation and work alongside Research & Evaluation team members based globally. The role will involve one to two international trips per year. This position offers excellent opportunities to advance your professional skills and the chance to influence how impact is measured and communicated across the anti-slavery movement.

About the Role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
