We are looking for an experienced Senior Philanthropy Manager to join us on a 12-month maternity cover contract to oversee our Major Donor programe. We're looking for someone who can:

1. Deliver current services efficiently, achieving high levels of performance and satisfaction against contract requirements in both quantitative and qualitative terms.

The IT Systems & Security Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT strategy and operational plans which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives. 

This role will be responsible for ensuring that all IT services are successfully delivered across the charity by defining, creating and maintaining the IT environment including; the management of all technical systems, system upgrades, interfaces and customisations, infrastructure, applications, security and IT governance.  In addition, this role will identify opportunities to ensure the technology, systems and tools used are fully integrated and embedded throughout the charity, with a view to maximising performance, optimising efficiency and creating a sustainable platform for future growth.

You will be confident building partnerships with external stakeholders and using data to drive service improvements.

You will understand safeguarding in client-facing services and can support staff in identifying and escalating concerns. You also bring insight into the challenges faced by displaced communities, ideally through Lived Experience of seeking sanctuary in the UK.

Experience working with local authorities, DWP/Jobcentre Plus, or training providers; familiarity with CRM systems; and a track record of contributing to service innovation are desirable criteria.

You will build and lead a small but far-reaching team to amplify Woodgreen's voice and lead evidence-based advocacy campaigns to drive systemic change in areas such as responsible pet ownership, animal welfare legislation, and improving pet welfare. You'll represent Woodgreen externally, with the media, in government consultations, parliamentary groups, sector forums, and external networks to raise our profile and policy positions.

The Role

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Global Safeguarding Team as our Senior Global Safeguarding Specialist reporting to the Global Safeguarding Director. This is a senior role in the team and will play a key part in managing and supervising safeguarding cases and investigations, as well as providing proactive support and guidance to Members and Country Programmes on a range of safeguarding topics. The role involves a considerable about of proactive prevention work such as designing and facilitating training and resources for a range of audiences (Boards, staff groups, volunteers, communities).
