The Position
The Volunteer Administration Officer is an exciting and challenging role, responsible for assisting the Volunteer Services Manager in the recruitment, administration and support of a network 350+ volunteers throughout the hospital at City Road, and the 31 Moorfields Network Sites.
The post-holder will be an all-rounder; someone who is comfortable working on their own initiative, is well organised, numerate, and who enjoys the challenges of supporting a small and friendly team. They will be supported to grow and develop in this role, through an active approach to training and development, and through a positive and empowering working environment.

We are seeking an experienced individual to help us deliver a productive, empowering, needs-orientated programme of training and development activities for community rail groups. Under the guidance of the Training & Development Co-ordinator you will aim to strengthen the community rail movement and enhance the value it delivers to communities.
About us
Community Rail Network is a not-for-profit organisation, working across Britain to support a growing ‘community rail’ movement. Community rail promotes sustainable and inclusive travel, coordinates volunteering and place-making projects, and brings people together.
Community rail is made up of 77 community-based partnership organisations, 1,300 station friends volunteer groups, and other community-led initiatives around Britain. Their activities range from creative projects with young people, to advising train operators on service improvements, to building travel confidence with families and marginalised groups, to biodiversity projects at stations, to promoting greener travel and tourism by rail.
Our enthusiastic team of 23 works mainly from home in different locations, but we come together regularly in person and online. We work collaboratively to advise our members, provide training, events and resources, run campaigns, and champion community rail and its insights via decision-makers and the media. Responsibilities:
You are principally responsible for supporting the delivery of a year-round programme of high quality, empowering training and development opportunities for our members. The programme will be delivered in line with inclusion and accessibility best practice, will be largely online with some face-to-face sessions and events.

Work with the Training and Development Co-ordinator to agree a rolling programme of training that supports member organisation capabilities and their impact on communities.

Topics will largely include areas required to achieve accreditation (for CRP’s) as well as good community-based practice for other member types. This includes but is not limited to training to support members with skills in creating and prioritising activity plans, project management, how to apply for grants and funding (including our own grants funds), how to prepare for an accreditation meeting, designing good outcomes and demonstrating organisational impact (including impact reports and use of social media), community engagement, volunteer recruitment, and co-production techniques.

Work with the Training & Development Co-ordinator to ensure your own understanding of these topics is current and identifying areas for personal development to support our training offer to be more robust.

Work with colleagues in other teams to set up, administer and deliver (largely online) webinars, networking and showcase events, setting them up, researching and engaging speakers and collating case studies to use, sending invites, facilitating the presenters and discussion during the event, and collating and reporting on feedback to inform future sessions.

Support the T&D Co-ordinator, colleagues in the regional support team, and communications team, to promote training and networking sessions effectively.

Where directed ensure we maintain high-quality training partnerships and opportunities that members can be signposted to and be responsible for administering our bursary scheme.

Regularly report on bursary expenditure, member feedback, attendance figures and any specific funder requirements.

Be responsible for supporting member organisations and colleagues to use our impact reporting platform and to keep up to date on any changes in how we record and demonstrate the social, economic and environmental impact of community rail.

Skills and competencies:
- Understanding, and experience of running, online and in person training and networking sessions, ideally within a community or not-for-profit context;
- Knowledge of, and ability to share effectively, key skill areas for example, volunteering recruitment and support, project management, applying for funding, co-production techniques, community engagement best practice, demonstrating outcomes and impact.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership and management
- Implement our ambitious plan for institutional relations, staying aligned with the organisation’s objectives and responding appropriately to the external environment.

INTRODUCTION
As set out in the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust’s 2025-30 Strategy, the NCN Directorate leads on the building of a walking, wheeling and cycling network that brings everyone closer to the places and people they love. The Directorate is organised into four distinct teams: Planning; Engagement; Delivery (England); Delivery (Scotland, Cymru and Northern Ireland). This role sits within the Delivery team in England. Role Summary:
The National Programmes Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of regionally dispersed Programme Facilitators to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of The Girls’ Network programmes across all localities. The post-holder drives programme performance and quality through effective people leadership, robust performance management, and the use of SMART objectives to ensure KPIs are met and organisational outcomes are achieved.
A core element of the role involves embedding best practice across all aspects of programme delivery and maintaining a strong, consistent approach to safeguarding through our work with children and young people. The post-holder is expected to be an experienced, supportive, and proactive leader, confident in managing performance, developing staff, and supporting team wellbeing and professional growth.

Start Network has an exciting opportunity for a Partnerships Engagement Officer to join our growing Resource Mobilisation team. The role supports donor engagement and income growth, working with trusts, foundations and corporate funders to build strong, long term relationships through high quality stewardship, communications and engagement.

About the Role
As an Triage and Assessment Officer you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse through risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, and information, enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You will make initial contact with victims of domestic abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime. Support will include providing resources, interventions, and information to all service users. You will provide immediate intervention by telephone and any appropriate referral in order to:
* support those affected by domestic abuse in understanding and asserting their rights and entitlements
* in understanding their journey through the criminal justice and legal systems including the Victims Code of Practice
* facilitating access to additional services
* provide practical support and information to all victims and survivors of domestic abuse, leading on completing initial impact and risk assessments that are comprehensive and holistic.

As CEO you will provide visionary, strategic, and operational leadership to the Ileostomy and Internal Pouch Association, ensuring we fulfil our mission and grow sustainably. You will act as a key ambassador, building partnerships and maintaining our reputation for excellence ensuring we move forward with impact sharing the strength and passion that we have continued to experience for almost 70 years.

What we do
IA offers peer-to-peer support to those with, or about to have, either an ileostomy or an internal pouch. We also help fund research into bowel disease and other conditions leading to the removal of the colon, as well as providing relevant information to interested parties using a range of channels.
Our strapline, “Because we know, we care”, sums up our whole ethos. Individuals can join either their local IA member organisation, or the IA national charity, and in either case, gain access to a range of services and support, including our flagship quarterly Journal, local and national meetings and information events, and other services such as our One2One peer support and Support Through Therapy services.

• Proven senior leadership experience, ideally as a CEO or Director in the charity or social enterprise sector
• Demonstrable experience of strategic planning and implementation
• Excellent communication skills with ability to engage effectively with stakeholders, professionals and volunteers both internally and publicly

• Financial management and budget oversight

What we offer
Contract: Part time 60% FTE – flexible over 3-5 days, permanent role.
Location: Remote (with regular travel to National Office (Rochford, Essex) and other UK locations, as required)
Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 equivalent FT (pro-rata 60%), commensurate with experience plus benefits
