The finance department is responsible for the overall financial management and administration of the 4million turnover at GSU. The department plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, including HMRC, Charities Commission, Companies House, and pensions. The finance team act as Business Partners to the rest of the organisation ensuring they understand financial processes to aid effective working. The team also work alongside our external payroll provider and our external digital system provider to ensure smooth and effective working.
Job Purpose:
Provide a professional, accurate, and timely accounting service in respect to all management and statutory reporting. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external support services to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance department, ensuring excellence in service delivery.

The primary purpose of the Night and Weekend Supervisor role is to oversee the provision of high-quality services. The Job
We are recruiting Finance Business Partners to support research teams and collaborate closely with the central finance team. In this role, you will be part of a research centre, working with budget holders and research leads to provide an effective and efficient financial service. Research funding comes from a mixture of grants/contracts from government, foundations, and (to a lesser extent) corporates.
Responsibilities will include producing regular quarterly forecasts and the annual budget, supporting project costing, overseeing financial management of research projects, and providing variance analysis. You will also collaborate on the production of management accounts, support financial accruals and income recognition, and contribute to the preparation of annual statutory accounts. Additionally, you will oversee auditing processes, ensure project reporting meets funding requirements, and support the implementation of a new finance system.
The Person
We are looking for an ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience in business partnering, financial project management, and setting budgets and forecasts. Experience in the charity/not-for-profit sector is advantageous, as is knowledge of different funders, philanthropic foundations, government departments, international organisations, businesses, and NGOs (grants and donor reporting). The ideal candidate will be able to present financial information clearly, work with accuracy and consistency, balance multiple deadlines, and have a proactive, self-motivating, and collaborative approach. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels are essential.

Job Purpose
This role is a senior leadership team member and strategic lead for all corporate and consumer communications, member business engagement and marketing.
The relationship with our business community is essential to the success of The Fitzrovia Partnership (TFP) and the delivery of the organisation’s vision and it is a key part of our strategy to ensure that businesses are aware of us and the services and projects we deliver. As such you would be responsible for the delivery of member engagement.
You will lead the marketing and communications function and manage the Marcomms team, continually developing and implementing effective marketing and communications strategies clearly articulating TFP’s vision, aims, projects and services.
Finally, you will provide strategic oversight and development for:
· Member communication strategy including BID renewal communications
· Consumer communications and campaigns strategy
· Social, wellbeing, member event and training programmes
· All communications channels including newsletter, websites, social media
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Leadership
· To play a role together with the CEO and the Director of Policy and Place in setting the overall vision of the organisation and ensuring delivery specifically in relation to the agreed business plan.
· Have a key role working closely with the Board and relevant sub-groups.
· To represent the organisation publicly as required, and step in for the CEO as required.
Member Engagement
· Driving, developing and ensuring implementation of the member engagement strategy.
· Ensuring effective account management contact with member businesses.

- Overseeing market research and consultation such as surveys, customer questionnaires and focus groups to inform the development of plans, projects and services.

The Head of Social Policy leads the development of our thinking across public service reform, social security and housing. The Head of Social Policy generates project ideas, oversees the development of quantitative and qualitative research, leads funding bids and manages day-to-day funder relationships. The Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Head of Finance & Operations to take ownership of all internal operations that ensure the organisation’s effectiveness, accountability, compliance, and resilience. Hours and place of work
- This is a full-time role to be fulfilled over a 35-hour week, ideally within the working hours of Mon-Fri, 9:30am–5:30pm, with flexibility as required.
- This is a hybrid role with one day a week in our shared office space in London (Better Space, 127 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3DA), the travel costs of which must be covered by the individual. We are open to discussing this arrangement further to accommodate individual needs and preferences.
- Further UK travel will be required on occasion, the costs of which would be covered by Clore Social Leadership.
Terms, pay and benefits
- This is a permanent contract.
- Salary for this role will be ca. £55,000 p/a depending on experience.
- The post holder is entitled to 25 days of annual leave, in addition to UK statutory holidays.
- The office is closed for one week during the winter festive period (25-31 December), providing an additional three days of annual leave in addition to the above allocation.
- You have the option to join our contributory pension scheme. The employer's contribution is 3% with a minimum employee contribution of 5%.

The Director of Income Generation & Marketing will lead the design and delivery of an ambitious, innovative, and sustainable income generation and marketing strategy. This role is responsible for significantly growing Muslim Aid’s financial resources, enhancing its brand presence in the UK and internationally, and expanding its footprint in new and emerging economic markets, ensuring all activity is firmly aligned to Muslim Aid’s mission and values.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

This is a home-based role and will suit an individual living in the North of England. You will be reporting to the Corporate & Regional Fundraising Manager and working in a very varied and exciting working environment.
The perfect candidate will enjoy forging positive and robust relationships with supporters including corporate partners, small businesses, philanthropic groups as well as supporting community fundraisers across the North of England, to raise vital income for our Association.
You will use your creative and professional skillset to provide high-quality account management, stewardship, and growth across all managed income streams. No two days are the same and we are looking for someone who can be flexible in their approach and able to multitask effectively.

Home-Start London is seeking a dynamic and driven Partnerships & Projects Coordinator to play a pivotal role in growing our impact across the capital. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work closely with our network of local Home-Starts, developing and managing partnerships and generating income to support and extend Home-Start services. Your work will directly help secure vital income and drive collaborative initiatives that ensure every child has the best possible start in life. What you’ll do:
- Proactively seek out, develop and manage new partnerships, generating income to support and extend Home-Start services
- Support the Operations Coordinator to manage existing consortia projects, ensuring quality and meeting targets
- Deliver timely reporting for internal and external stakeholders
- Lead on planning and delivery of network events, showcasing Home-Start’s work and impact for children and families
- Regularly engage with local Home-Start teams, from co-designing new projects to providing training and support with local fundraising efforts
- Work with HSL’s Communications Lead and local Home-Start teams to develop external communications that showcase Home-Start’s work, including content for website and socials
- Ensure compliance with partnership governance procedures, funding agreements, and internal policy
- Maintain accurate record keeping for all partnerships and projects
- Provide administrative support to the team, supporting efficient operations
- Manage volunteers as required, ensuring that they are happy, effective and well supported
- Any other duties that may be reasonably requested of the postholder
