                                                                                                                                                                               We’re Hiring: Grants & Project Administrator (Fixed-Term Contract) - Immediate Start

                                The Road Safety Trust – Homebased | Part-Time (22.5 hrs/week)

The Road Safety Trust, the UK’s largest independent grant-giving charity focused on eliminating road deaths and serious injuries, is looking for a highly organised Grants and Project Administrator to support the delivery of our national grant programme. 

Location: Homebased

Contract: Up to 12-month Fixed Term (with 6-month review)

Salary: £30,900 FTE / £18,540 Pro Rata

Closing Date: 18 November 2025

About the Role

This is a key support role within our Grants Team, working closely with the Grants and Impact Director to ensure the effective administration, monitoring and delivery of funded projects across the UK.

What you’ll be doing

✅ Supporting the administration of grant programmes

✅ Managing a delegated caseload of small grants

✅ Monitoring project reporting, due diligence checks and payment schedules

✅ Preparing reports, presentations and project summaries

✅ Acting as first point of contact for external suppliers and grantees

✅ Helping coordinate events, workshops and webinars

✅ Supporting data tracking, dashboards and website updates

✅ Ensuring accurate and confidential record keeping in line with GDPR

What we’re looking for

✔ Minimum 1 year strong administration experience

✔ Excellent IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

✔ Good time management and ability to prioritise

✔ Strong written and verbal communication skills

✔ Ability to analyse written and numerical information

✔ Confident working collaboratively in a small, virtual team

Desirable: experience with grant management systems, research, policing, transport safety, data governance or relevant degree.
