As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the vital link between ISHA and the people we serve. Your role will be to build strong relationships with residents and leaseholders, ensuring they are informed, engaged, and supported through any housing-related matters, including repairs, refurbishments, and community initiatives. It’s important to us that you’re someone who keeps residents, and their homes, at the heart of your work.

• Talking with residents and leaseholders, addressing queries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and professionalism.

• Work closely with contractors, and Housing and Neighbourhood colleagues to ensure minimal disruption to residents’ daily lives.
• Attend resident engagement activities, ensuring their voices are heard and valued.

Donor Stewardship and Reporting 

•Research, manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of donors informing, educating, and inspiring them about MAP’s work, and asking them for donations either directly in application or facilitating asks by peers.

The role

As the breadth and volume of our fundraising activity has grown over the last couple of years, an opportunity has arisen for a detail orientated and enthusiastic individual to join our database team. The Team

This role will fit into the small Finance & Operations team and will be line managed by the Finance Manager.

Main Duties

• Maintaining the Purchase Ledger including processing supplier invoices, staff expense claims, grant and bursary payments, reconciling statements and making the relevant payments
• Maintaining the Sales Ledger including raising invoices and allocating receipts
• Cash management including checking bank transactions daily, allocating transactions on the accounting system and producing regular bank reconciliations. Paying in cheques and reconciling floats, if required
• Maintaining accurate records of both unrestricted and restricted fund transactions including receipts, grants, staff expenses, overheads and cash
• Providing timely and accurate financial support to the Programmes, Development and Research teams to assist them with forecasting, budgeting, reconciliation and (donor) reporting
• Supporting with the month end procedures such as balance sheet reconciliations, depreciation, month end adjustments, salary and overhead allocations
• Gathering monthly payroll information and reviewing monthly payroll reports
• Assisting with the administration of the pension scheme and of employee benefits
• Preparing quarterly Gift Aid claims and maintaining the relevant supporting documentation

• Office location: The Sutton Trust, 9th Floor, Millbank Tower, 21-24 Millbank, London, SW1P 4QP. Our home working policy gives staff the option to work from home for up to 60% of the time, with approval from their line manager.

About the role

As a Service Desk Analyst at British Heart Foundation (BHF), you’ll be a vital member of a highly talented, customer focused and enthusiastic helpdesk team who act as the first point-of-contact for end users.

With previous service desk experience you'll take pride in resolving almost all issues as they arise. Quick to learn, enthusiastic and self-motivated, you’ll ensure that the knowledge base is always updated so other team members can learn from your successes and overall performance is maintained and improved.

With a high percentage of customers being in the Retail directorate, you’ll be required to participate in a weekend cover rota, allowing service to our shops and stores to be delivered. Working hours needed to deliver these services are 35 hours/week – staggered in accordance with the support rota.

Working arrangements

This is a fixed term contract covering an internal secondment.

This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office. 
 
At BHF we believe in the power of being together, so our colleagues on blended contracts can expect to spend some time in their office, approximately three days a week. Working hours needed to deliver these services are 35 hours per week covering a rota schedule (the team cover 8am to 6pm every day).
 
The role will also participate in a weekend cover rota allowing service to our shops and stores to be delivered. This will be in the region of 1 weekend in 4-6.

About you

You'll have previous service desk experience, having working in the SD environment previously, and will have excellent customer service and communication skills, being used to working in a busy service desk team. You'll also have excellent telephone and customer handling skills to back up your technical and fault diagnosis experience. 

You’ll have strong troubleshooting skills, keeping the Customer informed of progress against their respective issues, ensuring an effective follow-up to ensure all service has been delivered and completed to the Customer's satisfaction.

Good knowledge of Windows OS (Win 10 and above), you’ll also have knowledge of LAN/WAN networking essentials and extensive experience of MS Office suite of Applications (2010 and above). You’ll have previous experience with administration of Users within Active Directory and Remote Support Tools (i.e. VNC, RDP etc.).

With good knowledge of ticket and case management techniques, managing own queues and workload to meet Service Level Agreements, you’ll be able to remain calm and focused, and will have strong organisational skills, able to use prioritisation and escalation techniques, and able to develop strong working relationships with the team and contacts across the organisation.

What the job involves

We’re an ambitious charity with a bold mission and a fantastic culture. As we embark on an exciting 3-year fundraising strategy, we’re looking for a Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our Individual Giving Team here at Prostate Cancer UK. This is a newly created role within the team which will oversee acquisition and new product development.

You’ll be part of an exciting time at the charity, joining us as we roll out our new Fundraising strategy and continue investment in Acquisition. In this role you’ll take ownership of planning, implementing and reporting on fully integrated acquisition campaigns across a range of channels including DRTV, Digital, Telephone, SMS and OOH.

You’ll work closely with teams from across the organisation and our media agency to ensure a truly integrated, collaborative approach. Together with the team, you’ll identify opportunities, apply learnings from past campaigns, and enhance future performance.

You’ll also be integral to driving forward new product development to acquire new regular givers. Leading on testing across the Acquisition team, you’ll innovate to drive the lowest attrition, best ROI and strongest lifetime value. You’ll collaborate with colleagues from across the organisation to drive the best creative, messaging, targeting and data insights.

What we want from you

Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment managing fully integrated campaigns, you’ll also have strong digital campaign management experience, ideally gained from a fundraising environment. You’ll have experience in developing and implementing effective testing strategies and ideally also have experience in developing new marketing or fundraising products.

You’ll possess first class communication skills; a strong team ethic and you will be at ease working with and influencing key internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage expenditure budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance.

Purpose of the role:

At NEON, we know that you can’t separate the external work of the organisation from the internal work. They are so interlinked and interdependent that they both have to be given priority and resources if we want to achieve high impact. We see them as inseparable. 

So the purpose of this role is to support NEON achieving its mission by ensuring the smooth running of NEON’s finance systems and processes. You’ll do this by delivering on the main financial tasks day-to-day, and support with finance projects aimed at improving NEON’s systems.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Doing all of our day-to-day fundraising administration to keep us well-organised and compliant. This includes:

   1. Recording and monitoring fundraising data using our Fundraising Tracking Database

   2. Keeping all of our grant agreements, contracts and other relevant documentation well-organised on GDrive and elsewhere 

   3. Ensuring compliance with the financial requirements of the grant agreements, and updating and maintaining the grant payments schedule 

   4. Raising invoices on Xero in line with funder agreements - noting instalment dates and receipts

2. Preparing payroll each month, ensuring everything happens on time and coordinating with our payroll agency. (This may only be a temporary responsibility) 

3. Processing and reconciling payments. This includes:

   1. Reconciling bank receipts and chasing late payments

   2. Processing supplier invoices and payments

   3. Monitoring our team’s Pleo card expenses and posting on Slack to our team for authorisation

   4. Managing the subscriptions on Pleo cards (this is likely a temporary responsibility until our People & Ops Manager returns from sabbatical leave)

4. Preparing some financial reports and accounts. This includes accounts to trial balance, and ad hoc reports from Xero when our team have finance queries or need support

5. Supporting with finance projects which make our finance systems work more efficiently, simply and sustainably e.g. helping to update our budget spreadsheets and approach to budgeting, or moving to a new bank

6. Supporting the Head of Finance with budgets, financial planning and reports and any other ad hoc finance tasks

7. Being part of Ops Hub shared work and cross-organisational work and team days 

About you:

• You have experience dealing with people in different capacities, both internally and externally, on a day to day basis, and build strong working relationships

• You have solid finance experience and skill. For us that means:

  1. a minimum of three years work experience in a finance role, preferably within the charity/non profit sector. This means you have a good understanding of non-profit finance, including VAT and managing restricted and unrestricted funds

  2. a solid understanding of Accounts Payable (with BACs, invoicing, etc) and Receivable (invoicing and credit control) processes

  3. a Level 4 AAT, equivalent qualification or equivalent experience

  4. experience in control accounts reconciliation, and posting journals

• You know how to use accounting software and apps (e.g., Xero, Quickbooks, Sage) as well as Microsoft Excel or Google sheets

• You are proactive, well-organised and feel empowered to solve problems yourself when they come up (sometimes described as an “ownership mindset”), as well as balancing this with asking for help when you need it

Harris hill is seeking a Partnership and Philanthropy Officer for up to 6 months, 22.5hpw, to support a charity in Bath, although ideally hybrid, will consider remote based.

The role is to be payrolled via the agency however, they are also considering freelancer who would like to bill them directly. The pay rate is £15.77ph plus holiday pay, or £20.86ph freelance.
