Overview of the Regional Coordinator role and the team
The Regional Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Barnabas Aid by
building and nurturing relationships with churches, Christian organisations, and
individuals. The role aims to raise awareness, prayer, and financial support for the
persecuted church, fostering a network of engaged supporters and expanding the
organisation’s outreach.
Main duties and responsibilities
Strategy Implementation and Reporting:o Develop and execute regional outreach strategies aligned with organisational
goals.
o Monitor and evaluate engagement initiatives, providing regular updates and
reports.
o Maintain accurate records of engagements and donor activities using internal
systems.
Prayer Mobilisation:
o Host regular prayer meetings (virtual or in-person) for the region.
o Disseminate prayer resources and stay updated on current prayer requests.
o Attend daily organisational devotions in-person or online, unless this is not possible
due to an event or meeting.
Awareness Raising:
o Speak at churches, schools, conferences, and community events to share
Barnabas Aid’s mission.
o Collaborate with churches and Christian networks to organise awareness events
and campaigns.
o Distribute resources and materials to inform communities about the persecuted
church and suffering Christians.
o Network widely and to explore potential partnerships.
Income Generation and Donations:
o Cultivate relationships with potential supporters and donors.
o Plan and execute regional fundraising initiatives, including events and campaigns.
o Encourage financial and other resource donations, ensuring effective donor
stewardship.
Volunteer Development and Engagement:
o Recruit (when possible) train, and mentor volunteers to support outreach activities
providing resources and regular communication.
o Coordinate volunteer activities to align with regional and organisational strategies.
Community Engagement and Networking:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with church leaders, mission committees,
and Christian organisations.
o Collaborate with other Regional Coordinators to share best practices and
coordinate efforts.
o Attend conferences and networking events to expand Barnabas Aid’s reach and
influence.
Event and International Collaboration:o Contribute to planning and attend national conferences, festivals, and events.
o Participate in international trips to meet project partners, witness project impact, to
assist or lead in auditing a project and share insights with supporters and
colleagues.
Operational Flexibility:
o Manage a varied schedule, including evenings, weekends, and extensive travel.
o Ensure tasks are completed efficiently, including additional assignments as
needed.

Purpose of the Job
Hammersmith, Fulham, Ealing & Hounslow Mind deliver services across five sites in West London. Two sites are operated by HFEH Mind and three sites are run by our partners.
We are looking for a proactive and organised Facilities Co-ordinator to support the smooth running of our charity's buildings across all five sites. This is an ideal role for someone with some experience in facilities, property services, or office co-ordination who would like to support a large but locally focused mental health charity.
Key Responsibilities
General
With a commitment to providing high-quality and accessible spaces to a diverse community, working knowledge of the health and safety obligations of operating community buildings, and a friendly, non-judgemental attitude, you will be required to:
Day-to-day Site Operations
- Conduct basic site checks; schedule, prioritise and carry out minor repairs (e.g., replacing lightbulbs, replacing camera batteries, reporting larger maintenance issues).
- Escalate any issues to the Business Support Manager when necessary.
- Ensure spaces are tidy, clean and safe in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain guidelines and site handbooks, ensuring all are up to date.
- Ensure supplies checked and well stocked (toiletries, stationery, refreshments, toner).
- Liaise with central services to oversee onsite deliveries.
- Co-ordinate movement of items/ stock between sites.
- Report shared IT and photocopier issues to relevant suppliers.
- Ensure waste disposal at HFEH Mind sites are compliant with local authorities’ guidelines.
Health & Safety Support
- Support with regular fire alarm testing and fire drills.
- Help maintain health and safety records and reports.
- Assist with onboarding staff on building safety (e.g., exits, alarms).
- To be a First Aider and Fire Warden (training will be provided) and ensure training is up to date. Organise other staff to be Fire Wardens.
Security & Access
- Keep track of keys and access fobs; maintain register.
- Ensure security systems are in working order (CCTV, alarms).
- Liaise with external contractors as required.
Coordination & Admin
- Assist Business Support Manager with maintenance schedule and supplier review schedule.
- Maintain records for H&S inspections (fire extinguishers etc) and risk assessments.
- Help gather quotes for minor works or maintenance.
- Ensure all facilities related invoices are provided to finance.
- Check post at registered office(s) regularly and manage facilities email inbox.
- Contribute data for management reports.

Job Purpose:
To provide operational management of the Substance Misuse Through-the-Gate (SMTTG) programme, which supports Lambeth and Southwark women in custody and their transition back into the community. About the opportunity
We're in a fantastic position to have recently have partnered with the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) for an evaluation of our programmes.
We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in Birmingham.
- The Birmingham Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
- The Birmingham Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the delivery of Action Tutoring’s tutoring programmes in partner schools, whether online or face to face. This includes working closely to manage all key stakeholders: schools, pupils and volunteer tutors; regularly attending weekly tutoring sessions; leading on reviewing and improving programme delivery, using data to reliably assess programme performance.
- Responsible for overseeing the quality of tutoring, engaging in quality assurance processes, and providing feedback to volunteer tutors to ensure effective and impactful delivery. Provide regular check-ins with tutors to ensure ample support and guidance is given to provide targeted tuition to pupils.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in partner schools, including members of the Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant school staff, offering regular check-ins with key school stakeholders, and contribute to impact reporting to schools. Supporting the Programme Manager with strategies to retain and sustain school partnerships.
- Update and accurately maintain Action Tutoring’s database, including collecting timely data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, such as attendance records, baseline and interim assessments and pupil surveys. Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.
- Proactively report to the Programme Manager on the details of Action Tutoring’s operations in their partner schools.

Being the sole representative for a partner school, you will need to use your ability to work independently and with initiative, often organising your own time to meet deadlines. You’ll also need to have a strong aptitude for developing relationships with a range of stakeholders ensuring you uphold high standards of communication and adapt your style for different audiences. The nature of this role will also require you to demonstrate adaptability, resilience and the ability to cope with some uncertainty.
This position would suit you if you’re looking to develop your experience in the education or charity sectors. Existing experience of working with young people and/or project management in a charity or education setting would be an asset. Reports to: Midlands Programme Manager
Salary: £27,159 per annum
Contract and hours: Fixed term contract until 31st July 2026, full time contract (37.5 hours)
We offer flexible hours 9.30-4pm as core hours.

The focus of this role will be delivery of administrative support to the fundraising team. You will be the first point of contact for new individual supporters and play a key role in our stewardship and engagement plans. You will be involved in gathering feedback and experiences from our visitors so that we can show our impact. You will have an important role to make sure our database, record keeping and financial systems are accurate and fully up to date. You will assist the Fundraising Manager to generate financial and impact reports for use internally and externally. The post holder’s key tasks will be as follows:
Key responsibilities:
Supporter care and communication (30%)
·Act as the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries, including in person visits, ensuring a positive, personalised and friendly approach.
·Proactively and reactively communicate with new and existing supporters to thank and steward, in line with our established stewardship plans and practices. This will be via phone, email, letter, social media and in person.
·In collaboration with the Fundraising Manager produce materials and resources to support our stewardship of donors and supporters. This will include preparation of newsletters, social media content, marketing/fundraising materials and helping to plan and deliver supporter and participation events.
·Assist with systematic gathering and presentation of visitor feedback from a range of stakeholders including participants, group leaders, parents and teachers. This will be through face-to-face conversations, online events, surveys and through collating evidence gathered routinely by teams at Bendrigg.
Financial administration (25%)
·Working with the Finance Manager and Fundraising Manager, accurately process, record and reconcile donations received from a variety of sources.
·Log donations using a combination of manual data entry, automated imports, and third-party integrations with our fundraising database.
·Confidently run internal reports to generate statistics and impact measurements for use in our accounting and grant reports.
·Manage the charity’s Gift Aid submissions in line with HMRC guidance.
Database support (20%)
·Record supporters, donations, activities and communications accurately on the fundraising database.
·Ensure the database is fully up-to-date and complies with data protection regulations including GDPR.
·Export fundraising data and generate reports for the fundraising team.
·Maximise proficiency with the database through training, development, and opportunities to network and share best practice with other charities.
·Become the team’s database expert, creating processes and procedures, being the first point of contact for colleagues with database queries and championing the use of the database among the fundraising team.
Team administrative support (15%)
·Manage our third-party donation platforms.
·Work with the fundraising team to maintain our stock of fundraising materials.
·Maintain Bendrigg’s website pages related to fundraising and supporter care.
·Contribute to the planning process for the team’s calendar of fundraising appeals and activities.
·Help the Fundraising Coordinator prepare for and deliver events and other community initiatives.
·With guidance from the Fundraising Coordinator, support with the induction and care of fundraising volunteers.
Office support (5%)
·Help the rest of the onsite Income & Engagement Team providing a 'reception' service including answering the door, greeting and signposting visitors, accepting deliveries, answering the main office phone and directing calls.
Further responsibilities (5%)
·Participate in the day-to-day work of the organisation – such as attending team meetings, producing reports and taking a flexible approach to general administrative duties.
·Complete internal and external training appropriate to the role.
