Working closely with the CEO, you will bring structure and clarity to a fast-paced workload, ensuring priorities are well managed and time is used effectively. This includes managing a complex diary and inbox, acting as a gatekeeper, organising meetings, preparing documentation and supporting effective communication across the organisation.

You will help track key actions, deadlines, and priorities, driving progress and accountability. You will also support the Board through high-quality administrative and governance support.

This is a role where your work will have real impact. Success in this role will be reflected in the CEO and Board being well-supported, well-prepared, and able to focus on strategic leadership, with confidence that the detail, coordination, and follow-through are in safe hands.

About SARSAS

SARSAS exists to relieve the trauma and distress, and help rebuild the lives, of survivors who live in Somerset, Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset and BANES, who have experienced any form of sexual violence, at any point in their lives.

SARSAS also campaigns and raises awareness about rape and sexual violence to change the narrative about sexual violence and enable survivor’s voices to be heard. Partnership work with a range of agencies locally and nationally is a priority to enable social change.

SARSAS works to feminist principles: this underpins both what our service is and how it is run. Our work is guided by a trauma-informed approach which understands how traumatic experiences can impact on survivors and keeps an awareness of the effects of trauma at the forefront of our approach to support.

Contract information

Overall job purpose

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated early‑career marketing professional with a strong interest in culture and heritage.

As we continue to diversify and grow our commercial revenue streams, we are seeking a proactive Commercial Marketing Assistant to support the promotion of key income‑generating initiatives. These include Champing (unique overnight stays in historic churches), filming, venue hire, and an expanding portfolio of leased or licensed properties. The role also offers scope to contribute to new commercial opportunities in the future.

Working within the Initiatives and Partnerships Team and alongside the Communications Team, the role supports marketing activity across a broad range of commercial initiatives, including Champing, filming, venue hire and regional commercial activities.

The postholder will develop marketing content, manage commercial marketing channels, support campaigns and respond to enquiries to help grow audiences and revenue.

The role also contributes to research, reporting and operational support for commercial activity.

Utilise Editorial Manager and online content platform systems to support provision of guidelines for contributors and setting up of new titles and collections.

Wide-ranging support for staff and activities, to include:

• Support for commissioning processes, to include:

The Programme Development Manager role is a critical role in ensuring the development and progression of our programmes. The role is responsible for drafting compelling propositions for our UK programmes and both the proposal development and remote programme management oversight of our international work.

 Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Partnership and Proposal Development: Develop and deliver compelling partnerships to expand our existing donor-base

· Scope funding and partnership opportunities and engage with existing, new and potential institutional donors and programme partners through 1) desk research; 2) preparing donor/partner profiles; 3) updating an active pipeline of proposals and opportunities; 4) engaging, building and maintaining new and existing partnerships.

· Lead the proposal development and submission process of high-quality programmes – including narrative, Monitoring and Evaluation frameworks and budget preparation. This will require working directly with our network of National Offices (NOs), and Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), ensuring that Habitat GB aligns with the tools and processes that have been developed to support this work.

· Ensure that feedback and learning from project bids, both successful and unsuccessful, is shared across the organisation and is used to inform future thematic priorities and programme design.

2. Impact Delivery: Manage and deliver impactful projects

· Support National Offices to prepare and establish effective project management tools and mechanisms for grant set-up and project launches in close collaboration with HFHI.

· Coordinate monthly project management meetings for key projects with National Offices.

· Conduct monitoring visits (if necessary) to projects, alongside the provision of distance monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) and safeguarding support to National Offices and their partners. Collate data, ensuring it is of high quality and produced in line with grant agreements.

· Draft, review and edit/format project reports for timely submissions to donors in close collaboration with Habitat GB colleagues, National Offices/Branches and HFHI colleagues, ensuring donor compliance.

· Support the timely transfer of funds to National Offices, tracking progress against expenditure.

3. Collaboration: Across Habitat GB and the wider Habitat network

· Supervise and mentor Programmes Assistants and volunteers (where/when) applicable, supporting their development and the delivery of high-quality work.

· Actively participate in several Communities of Practice (CoPs) hosted by major donors and development networks for external knowledge sharing and learning.

· Present key thematic topics within Habitat GB quarterly for internal sharing.

Working closely with the Director of Fundraising and alongside the Strategic Partnerships and Trusts teams, you will be responsible for setting clear plans, developing effective fundraising approaches, and ensuring strong systems, processes and supporter experiences are in place to drive sustainable income growth.

You will lead the delivery and development of community fundraising, challenge events, individual giving through community activity, and in-memory fundraising. A key part of the role will be developing a clear and engaging events and fundraising volunteer offer, including an effective induction process that enables volunteers to fundraise confidently on behalf of Bipolar UK.

This role requires a thoughtful, organised and people-centred manager who understands how to balance ambition with compassion in a mental health charity context.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic leadership and planning

• Develop and deliver a clear community and events fundraising strategy aligned with Bipolar UK’s wider fundraising and organisational goals.
• Translate strategy into achievable annual plans, income targets and team objectives.

2. Community and events fundraising delivery

• Lead the planning, delivery and growth of a portfolio of community fundraising initiatives and challenge events, both in person and online.

• Oversee web content and digital resources to support community and event fundraising

4. Digital campaigns and income growth

• Lead on the planning and delivery of digital-led community and events fundraising campaigns.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications colleagues to develop supporter journeys, content and communications that drive engagement and income.
• Develop approaches to grow connected income streams, including regular giving and in-memory giving, through community and digital activity.
• Monitor performance, assess impact and report clearly on outcomes and learning.

5. Supporter experience and stewardship

• Ensure supporters are stewarded with care, empathy and professionalism, recognising the personal connection many have to bipolar.
• Oversee thanking, updating and re-engagement activity to build long-term supporter relationships.

6. Team leadership and organisational contribution

• Line-manage and support the Fundraising Officer and Supporter Engagement Assistant, providing clear direction, coaching and development.

• Oversee income and expenditure for the community and events portfolio, monitoring budgets and performance against targets.

Essential Criteria

• Significant experience managing community and/or events fundraising, with a track record of achieving income and engagement targets.
• Experience of line-managing staff and leading a small team to deliver effectively.
• Strong planning and organisational skills, with experience translating strategy into delivery plans.
• Experience of managing budgets and reporting on performance and impact.
• Demonstrable experience of digital fundraising and use of online fundraising platforms.
• Experience working with volunteers or community fundraisers.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• Confidence using CRM systems and fundraising data.
• Knowledge of the UK charity sector, GDPR and fundraising best practice.

An exciting opportunity is now available at Crantock Drive for a Service Coordinator offered either as one Full-Time position or 2 Part-Time positions. 

This role is to help shape, inspire and lead a team as well as positively impact and make a difference to the lives of the people we support. 

Working with individuals with learning disabilities we are a busy 8 bed residential service. The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, to adapt quickly and lead a diverse team in different and challenging situations.

We are looking for someone who is organised, pro-active, can multi-task and work on their own initiative, proficient in IT systems (or quick learner!), as well as working in a person-centred way.

The successful Service Coordinator will include overseeing care packages for the people we support (liaising with professionals and families, creating and updating support plans and risk assessments, etc), line managing staff (including but not limited to supervisions, role modelling, wellbeing check-ins, following policies and protocols, etc,).

You would be working as part of a small team where good verbal and written communication is essential. Other essential skills include the capacity to work within professional boundaries, yet meet individuals with empathy, and the ability to have difficult conversations while creating good working relationships with colleagues.

The position is full time, worked over 5 days and will require you to work regular weekends. You will be based at Crantock Drive, however an element of the position will require you to be able to get to other locations for training, meetings, etc.

The Role

As Welsh Language Coordinator you will support early years, childcare and play work practitioners with Welsh language skills. Targets are agreed annually between the Welsh Government and charity partners. You will co-ordinate the charity’s Welsh language project, encourage Members to embark onto the online self-learning course, and provide ongoing support to practitioners on increasing their use of the Welsh language.

Financial Wellbeing Coach

The Financial Wellbeing Coach is a new post that will play a key role in strengthening the financial resilience of nursing and midwifery professionals. Working directly with individuals, the post holder will help Nurses, Midwives, Nursing Associates, Healthcare Assistants and Maternity Support Workers to build financial literacy, develop budgeting skills, set realistic financial goals, and improve money management. The role combines one-to-one coaching with group workshops and digital support, helping people to gain confidence in managing day-to-day finances and planning for their future. The post holder will work collaboratively with the Head of Services and Impact and the wider Cavell team to ensure our financial wellbeing support is impactful, accessible and evidence based.

This is a 2-year fixed term post, 15 – 18 hours per week. It can be home based or hybrid, although we would expect visits to our Redditch office at least once a month.

Main Responsibilities

Financial Coaching and Support:

• Deliver one-to-one financial wellbeing coaching to eligible beneficiaries.
• Support individuals to improve financial literacy, budgeting and goal setting.
• Help beneficiaries to develop practical money management strategies.
• Provide non-judgmental advice, education and encouragement to build financial confidence.
