Person Specification

• Excellent relationship building and application writing skills. Experience in Trust fundraising or an equivalent field is desirable but not essential.
• Some knowledge of statutory fundraising is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

Relationship Management

• Provide tailored, high-quality stewardship to a range of large and medium-sized Trusts & Foundations.
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities and build relationships with new Trusts and Foundations to further grow this income stream.
• Prioritise research to constantly develop future pipeline.
• Work with Head of Philanthropy and other senior stakeholders in engaging potential funders and managing strategic Trusts & Statutory partners.

Write applications and reports

• Develop compelling funding applications for Trusts and occasionally statutory funders, articulating Resurgo's vision and strategy to persuasively engage new donors with a focus on raising five and six-figure grants.
• Stay ahead of sector trends, media, and political context to market Resurgo's interventions in a compelling way.
• Develop general communications on the work of Resurgo to inspire and update our Trust audience.
• Produce reports and updates on the impact of our work for funders in a timely manner. 

Data Management and Monitoring

• Update our internal database (Salesforce) with all donor interactions, donations and other details ina timely and efficient manner and with strong attention to detail, and analyse data to give insights' and drive future activity.
• Manage the Trusts & Foundations and Statutory pipelines and report on income and other KPIs, and ensure Trusts & Foundations team meets monthly targets and deadlines.

Line Management

• Actively manage and develop the Trusts & Foundations Executive to help them grow personally and in their role.

About The Felix Project 

The Felix Project is London’s largest food redistribution charity. Our vision is a London where good food is never wasted, and no one goes hungry. We aim to reduce the negative impact food waste has on the environment by working with the food industry to rescue high quality surplus produce, that would otherwise have gone to waste. This food is sorted at one of our four depots or turned into meals in Felix’s Kitchen. It is then distributed to over 1,200 community organisations, such as food banks, homeless shelters and primary schools, all of whom are working within communities across London to feed people experiencing hunger.

Purpose of the Job  

We are looking for the Production Supervisor to play a key role in our brand-new Production team under project ‘Unit 17’.  

You will be the on the ground senior leading the teams in the daily tasks to be completed, working as the connection between the management team and the team members and volunteers. Working hands on within all the production lines, leading by example and supporting the team across the operation. 

This is an operational role, mainly based on the production floor but with a range of reporting and administrative tasks involved. You will report into the Production Manager and work closely with them on the day to day running of the unit as well as supporting covering their duties when they are away.

You will be supervising and supporting the teams to deliver on each day’s production targets as well as ensuring that all rules and HACCAP plans are followed correctly, providing real time feedback to the management team on any issues and resolutions taken.

More about Unit 17 

In early/mid 2025, we opened our second production facility as part of the Coronation Food Project. The Coronation Food Project was set up to celebrate His Majesty King Charles 75th birthday and seeks to bridge the gap between food waste and food need across the UK. 

We will be taking in surplus food from our supplier network and creating a range of products which have added value and extended shelf life.  A particular focus will be seasonal produce gluts, using ingredients which we may otherwise not be able to redistribute.  

Using four key processes (re-packaging, jarring / preserving, dehydrating and freezing), we will create a range of products which will be used in these three main ways:  

• Distributed to our partner community organisations as ‘ready to eat’ or ‘easy to use’ products for their service users - always delicious, achieving relevant safety standards and meeting the needs of the eventual end user. 

• Used in the East London Central Production Unit (CPU) to support creating Felix Ready Meals.  

• Used in Unit 17 in the creation of other products (for example frozen produce later used to make jarred sauces or preserves) 

A typical day at Unit 17 will likely include planning new product/s based on the ingredients available that day, agreeing relevant food safety requirements and working in line with this, working with the production team and volunteers to prepare, produce and package delicious products, planning for future products and project work.  

Duties and Responsibilities 

Your normal duties and responsibilities will be set out in your job description. However, the charity may require you to perform other duties from time to time.  

• Day to day supervision of the operations team, with a hands-on supportive approach 

• Liaising closely with the management team on the targets and goals for each production cycle

• Support in the delivery of all required H&S, Food Safety and HACCAP requirements and reporting on these areas

• Working with all internal stake holders across the departments at the Felix Project 

• Feeding into the reporting and delivery of the units stated KPI’s and production goals

• Ensuring that the equipment is always being used productively and correctly

• Taking a leading role in the training of the staff and volunteer teams

• Responsible for the operational record keeping and due diligence paperwork being used correctly

• Reporting any operational issues or challenges faced in a timely and open manner

This is a brand new and unique operation and requires someone with experience and an openness to creating and delivering on a new project. Someone who believes in the mission we have as an organisation and wants to put their experience and knowledge into a mission driven project.  We believe in an upbeat and enjoyable working environment but one that is driven to meet our targets and strategic goals.

Whilst previous experience and knowledge within food production is essential, we are looking for someone who wants to grow into the role and be able to develop themselves and their knowledge whilst we develop this new operation.

• Comfortable with all relevant aspects of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures in a food manufacturing environment 

• Previous experience working to and reporting on HACCAP plans

About the role

This is a hands-on role for an experienced organiser who will lead key aspects of our community organising practice. You'll design and deliver training workshops, coach emerging organisers, and build meaningful relationships with both partner organisations and individual members to expand our movement.

Working with campaign teams across the UK, you'll ensure organising principles are woven throughout our programmes whilst supporting communities to build power, win campaigns, and develop new leaders. Act Build Change is a transformative organising school that makes community organising and collective care methods accessible to everyone who wants to end injustice.

Since 2019, we've supported over 150 collectives and organisations across the UK and Ireland, working with those with disabilities, migrants and refugees, young people, carers, working class communities, LGBTQ+ collectives, those living in poverty and the intersections across those identities.

Treasures Foundation provides housing and support for women recovering from addiction, trauma, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We help women rebuild their lives through safe housing, access to essential services, and programmes focused on rehabilitation and long-term recovery. Our mission is to empower women to thrive in their communities and build a brighter future.

We are now seeking a Full Time and/or Part Time Keyworker to join our expanding Treasures team. 

Key Responsibilities

The Keyworker will report directly to the Specialist Support Manager and will play a critical role in maintaining the effective running of Treasures Foundation’s supported housing. The core responsibilities include:

Beneficiary support

·  Undertaqking key working activities including: referrals, risk assessments, support
planning

· Support beneficiaries communicating with them about their day or any difficulties that arise for them

RESPONSIBILITIES

Grant Prospecting & Pipeline Development

• Research and maintain a pipeline of trusts and foundations aligned with OSH’s mission and growth priorities.

Bid Writing & Submission

Reporting & Stewardship

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced videographer and photographer, with strong technical skills, to join our small but ambitious creative team. You’ll have a good understanding of how to capture stories and share voices in a creative and powerful way, while being able to take projects from concept to completion.

You’ll be motivated, driven and passionate about capturing the voices of children and young people with cancer and the work that we do at Young Lives vs Cancer. No two days will look the same, from photographing a fundraising event to capturing an interview with a family at one of our Homes from Home. We’re looking for someone who can make the most of any opportunity to gather content which could be used across social media, our website, in presentations and pitches or in printed materials.

The role-holder will also take responsibility for keeping our content library up to date and gathering and recording consent as they go. We need someone who is highly organised and able to manage their own time and diary – this is a varied and busy role which will work with many teams across the organisation.

What will I be doing?

• Working with the Brand and Creative Manager on incoming briefs from across the organisation and deliver creative solutions which fulfil objectives and consider audience

• Supporting the social media team with regular post-production work on user-generated content for TikTok and Instagram (for example, editing, adding captions etc.)

Community Energy is gaining momentum nationally, where people are increasingly coming together to  take control of their own energy supplies.  Grand Union Community Energy (GUCE, pronounced “juice”) is looking to see local communities along the Grand Union canal in Hertfordshire enjoy a clean and resilient energy system that benefits all.  We develop, support and promote renewable energy and energy efficiency projects for communities from Watford to Tring, and build householder resilience by helping them reduce their bills and energy use.

We are seeking a Project Manager for two days a week, to help develop the opportunities that are forthcoming. Depending on the skills of the applicant the same individual could also cover aspects of other roles we are looking to fill.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a person with experience in project management to join our small but expanding team. The Project Manager for Community Energy will be responsible for converting opportunities for local renewable energy generation and energy efficiency projects into reality. They will take projects from concept, through funding and construction to management.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver new potential projects, such as opportunities with Watford industrial units:

  • Work with technical specialists to assess the energy needs of the community, including energy demand, infrastructure, and renewable energy potential (solar, wind, biomass, etc.).

  • Identify and engage stakeholders (local authorities, local organisations, energy providers, and residents).

• For new and existing projects: 

  • Develop and monitor an overall plan to realise projects including timelines, budgets, resources and risk management strategies in conjunction with the Development Officer / Project teams.

Salary: Pro-rated salary for 2 days per week, £13,000 to £19,000 per annum (£34,000 to £47,000 full time equivalent) depending on experience plus 3% pension contribution.

Hours: 2 days per week (15 hours). The working hours can be flexible.

Location: Home-working, ideally within the GUCE catchment area from Watford to Tring.

You will need to travel to meet stakeholders, attend relevant meetings and visit potential sites. You may be called upon to work outside office hours.

Contractual arrangements: 12 months fixed term with the opportunity to extend, subject to 3 months’ probation.

There is a notice period of four weeks from both sides.

Holidays: The equivalent of 28 days per annum excluding Bank Holidays, pro-rata for the part-time nature of the post.

About The Role

Working closely with the Program Director, the Program Manager adapts and manages the Europe Regional Finance program to ensure the program team delivers on its objectives and goals. The role requires high-level coordination and support to a team working across Europe, leading campaign planning and evaluation processes, grant management, while coordinating the program's budgeting and re-forecasting.

This includes providing guidance to team members on grant processes, tracking and monitoring grant payments, authoring and reviewing grant dockets and memos as appropriate, working with other program teams on grants as needed, and ensuring timely follow-up and feedback with partners. 
• Oversee program’s contracts, including the hiring and onboarding of necessary new agency partnerships, contracts, and temp employees, and tracking and monitoring contract payments.

JOB PURPOSE

To improve the provision of consistent high-quality debt advice, enhancing the experience of clients, by working collaboratively with delivery suppliers, to support them in implementing improvement activities, and in assessing and monitoring the quality of debt advice.

To support the implementation and ongoing facilitation of project quality assurance and improvement processes, working collaboratively with the EMMA management team to inform and support contract compliance and performance management activities.

To identify good practice and share learning with delivery suppliers, and across roles within MaPS and across all funded services to support improvement and development of advice services.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Deliver individual strategic projects/business plan objectives for the team

Work with debt advice providers on an individual basis to improve the provision of consistent and high-quality debt advice, by supporting suppliers to implement improvement activities, and to assess and monitor the performance of their advisers and debt advice service overall to ensure that the quality of debt advice is improved where required, maintained and provided in accordance with regulation, project requirements, best practice, and agreed standards.  This includes:

• Working in collaboration with suppliers to make tailored recommendations and providing feedback to improve the quality of debt advice and client experience in a delivery supplier as appropriate, and identify good practice, where applicable

• Measuring and analysing information gathered against risk ratings, quality frameworks and standards and liaising with delivery suppliers to agree improvement action plans using the results of assessments and analysis

• Liaising with delivery suppliers about the practical arrangements required to carry out the monitoring of their work and improvement plans and ensure understanding of the service improvement process

• Supporting, where appropriate, the implementation of any follow on/corrective action following the assessment and /or support visits/file reviews.

Support participants internal and external quality assurance, quality related grant requirements and quality improvement schemes by:

• Ensuring delivery partners and advisers understand the objectives of the service and quality requirements.

• Facilitating the smooth application of the quality improvement process as required by LCALC and/ or the funder including writing guidance documents, regular liaison with the delivery suppliers and answering ad hoc queries.

Project compliance and quality requirements are achieved by:

• Ensuring delivery suppliers have a good awareness and understanding of the quality and service delivery requirements through communications and active involvement in the delivery of EMMA events related to quality improvement.

• Providing support and advice to delivery suppliers and other internal colleagues on the quality requirements and service delivery standards.

• Escalating risks promptly and appropriately.

• Providing support with delivery and quality compliance and performance management activities, including active involvement in performance enhancement plans as appropriate.

• Contributing to the design of monitoring and reporting processes.
