About the Team
You will be part of the Help for Heroes Community Fundraising Team, who work together to build support in the community to secure donations and build long time partnerships with community organisations / supporters and volunteers to deliver the annual community fundraising budget year on year. You will report to the National Senior Fundraising Manager and work collaboratively across the charity to drive income to support our veterans and their families.

Job Purpose
To oversee the day-to-day delivery of CQC registered high quality dignified residential care and support services promoting respect, equality and the independence of the people supported.
Principal Accountabilities
- Efficiently manage the day-to-day delivery of the adult residential care home service
- Manage staffing levels to ensure sufficient numbers of suitably qualified staff.
- Effectively manage the staff team providing information, guidance and on-going supervision and performance management reviews.
- Effectively communicate information and instructions to staff and people supported.
- Manage and coordinate the delivery of staff training and development.
- Manage and monitor the local budget.
- Provide leadership to ensure staff are clear about their duties and responsibilities.

Experience
- 3 Years experience as a CQC Registered Manager in an Adult Residential Care Home setting.
- Experience of leading a CQC inspection resulting in ‘Good’ or Outstanding’ ratings.
- Sound knowledge of CQC regulations.
- Experience in managing Human Resource issues.
- Experience in interagency working.
- Experience in the management of local budgets.
- Experience of managing services using the CQC Guidance of ‘Right Support, Right Care, Right Culture’

The Role
As a Project Lead for the ASB team you will be:
- Managing a small team of ASB caseworkers including performance management, monitoring and support
- Responsible for allocating cases within the team and analysing statistics and data in order to monitor daily caseloads against resources and look for trends/ pattern of behaviour
- Working with the Operations Manager to ensure delivery of the business plan and associated outcomes

- When the service requires, holding a small caseload providing high quality support to service users in line with VS policies and operating procedures.
The role is home-based within Devon and Cornwall and therefore is open to applicants who both live in this area and have access to an appropriately confidential space in which to work. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Finance Manager to lead and manage our busy Finance Teams. You will have relevant finance and business experience, and you will directly manage the Accounts Payable and Income Collection teams, while contributing to process improvements within the Accounts Receivable (Billing) function.
You will be familiar with accounting software, preferably SAGE. You will be an effective communicator with excellent data management skills and numeracy, with particular proficiency in the use of Excel.

You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.
You will line manage, induct, mentor, coach and support Service Managers. Additionally, you will ensure that any complaints, grievances and disciplinaries are investigated and responded to in an effective and timely manner in line with Medaille Policies.
Although the post is home based, the post holder will be expected to travel frequently to our safe houses within the South and London areas with some overnight stays.
You must have previous experience in a relevant sector or experience of working with adults that are vulnerable. Experience of managing staff, carrying out line management, supervision and appraisals is essential. Additionally, you must have experience of setting up Service User Engagement groups.

About the Role
The role requires a well-structured and highly organised approach, to ensure delivery and reporting is of the highest quality and a creative and proactive approach, to navigate challenges and hold others to account, when needed. The project management aspect of the role requires someone who is an excellent communicator with responsibility to oversee Service Level Agreements (agreed outputs, outcomes and communications) between the organisation and Youth Zones, and their relationships with funders..
