Job description

Open Doors is an international, interdenominational organization that supports Christians who are persecuted for their faith. This vacancy sits within the international granting and reporting team, reports to the Global Granting Manager, and will be based within the UK.

The role can be home-based, office based (Witney) or a combination. The job holder will also be part of the ODI UK team and meet with this team (remotely daily, in-person occasionally) for social times, spiritual refreshment and business meetings. Some international travel will be required.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Christian* to oversee change/project management solutions for ODI.  This person will translate work into process and IT system improvements (this many include a knowledge of IT Workflow tools like Nintex).

Our ideal candidate will have significant experience in leading projects and specific experience in process/waste mapping, but we are willing to develop, and train someone with the essential skills and the aptitute to progress quickly. You may have experience in a manufacturing/servicing environment and be looking to move into the NFP/charity sector. It’s your skills and approach to work that is key for us; we’ll invest in the right person.

ODI is a complex, multinational organisation and it is essential that you are able to work relationally and collaboratively with our Field,Development and Project Information teams and also our external partners. You’ll use your relationship skills, your persuasive and negotating skills, your insight into people and your ability to deliver to help the organisation embrace positive change. You’ll need cultural awareness as you’ll be working with people from many different countries and you must be fluent in written and spoken English. A proactive person will suit this role well.
