About the role

We are looking for an experienced and organised Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of Healthwatch Waltham Forest and Healthwatch Newham. You will manage operational activity, support staff and volunteers, maintain strong governance processes, and ensure that insight gathered from local people leads to meaningful improvements.

You will work closely with the Chief Executive and Advisory Groups in each borough and help shape annual work programmes based on evidence, engagement, and co-production.

This is an exciting role leading our committed policy team leading the fight to end child poverty in the UK. The development and implementation of a UK-wide cross-government child poverty strategy means this is a great time to join CPAG as we look to influence policy makers to adopt our evidence-based policy solutions to child poverty.

We are looking for someone to take a lead role in developing evidence-based policy positions to support CPAG’s influencing and campaigns work. You will have knowledge of political processes and how external organisations can effect change. You will have experience of managing a small team and working collaboratively to identify policy issues and develop solutions with colleagues across the organisation, as well as externally.

The postholder will be working in a fast moving, high profile and complex policy environment and will need to balance short term priorities with long term objectives. Current priorities include influencing the implementation of the forthcoming child poverty strategy, gathering and sharing analysis and expertise with the DWP as part of their review of universal credit, and monitoring the development of forthcoming changes to disability benefits.

We are planning a full-scale Sharepoint rollout in 2026 and would prefer to have in-house resource to plan and implement this important change.

This role is for an experienced SharePoint Engineer to join the team on an initial 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a brand-new SharePoint Online solution that will support multiple business units across the organisation.

You'll work closely alongside a dedicated Project Manager and be instrumental in designing, implementing, and migrating users to the new platform. As the Professional Standards Manager, you will play a central role in the effective operation of the Complaints and Conduct Process (CCP). We are seeking a Community Development Officer to lead a major in-progress project improving recognition, support, and care for people with smell and taste disorders at a local level across England. 

This three-year, volunteer-led programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund has achieved significant success in its first eighteen months. We are now recruiting a new postholder to take this strong foundation forward through the next phase of delivery. 

Over the past eighteen months, we have recruited and established a thriving network of volunteers and local groups across England. This momentum is expected to continue. The Community Development Officer will work closely with existing volunteers and groups, primarily remotely, while also attending in-person events and meetings in different parts of England as needed. 

The postholder will lead the ongoing recruitment, training, and support of volunteer groups, working with them to identify opportunities for local outreach and engagement. Together, you will ensure that more people affected by smell and taste disorders access the information, support, and recognition they need, while continuing to raise awareness of these often-unrecognised sensory impairments.

About the role

The Impact and Learning Consultant will play a central role in advancing how the Vitol Foundation understands, measures and deepens its impact. They will build on existing frameworks, tools and processes developed by our Head of Impact, Learning and Strategy who is due to go on maternity leave, as well as bring their own expertise to further strengthen our approach to impact and learning, embedding it into our day-to-day decisions. As our lead expert in this area, the Consultant will ensure that our strategy and grantmaking are guided by emerging data and evidence, and support continuous learning across all our work.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the field of measurement and evaluation, combining strategic leadership experience with strong hands-on technical skills to support Foundation colleagues and nonprofit partners. They will have experience with a wide range of quantitative and qualitative research methods and working in global settings, especially to support local partners operating in low-resource and/or emergency environments. This role requires someone with excellent communication skills, translating complex findings into clear, actionable insights tailored to different audiences, including Vitol Foundation colleagues, our board and non-technical external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

Impact measurement and reporting

• Continue rollout of the foundation‑level impact framework across our grant portfolio, making ongoing adjustments and clarifications as it’s being road-tested with a growing number of grantees.
• Design and refine grant‑level impact measures. Develop impact indicators for new grants and review existing ones, working closely with programme managers and partners to ensure alignment with project goals, partner capacity and the foundation‑level impact framework.
• Review and strengthen data quality of incoming partner reports to ensure that progress is meaningfully captured through quantitative and qualitative indicators. Check for clarity, completeness, consistency and data quality, and provide feedback or make revisions as needed.
• Support uptake and adjustments to our impact dashboards in Salesforce to ensure clarity and usefulness for Foundation colleagues. Work with the Operations Manager and external developers to implement changes where needed.

Learning and strategy implementation

• Regularly synthesise and share lessons learned from across our grant portfolio as well as from the wider international development sector. Highlight emerging data, evidence and findings, and their implications for the Foundation’s strategy and grants.
• Conduct rapid evidence reviews to inform sector‑level strategies and individual grants as they are developed or revised. Work closely with programme leads and partners to ensure emerging evidence is reflected in design and implementation, and to identify ways to build credible evidence to strengthen the impact of our grants.
• Serve as a technical expert for externally-led evaluations of our grants, including reviewing research protocols, data collection tools, analysis plans, and consent and safeguarding processes. Note: evaluations will be commissioned by external parties, this role will not manage evaluation contracts or teams.

Internal and external communications

• Draw out insights from impact data, other programme documents and external sources to inform management and board reporting, including regular tracking of portfolio‑level outcomes, key trends and lessons learned.
• Work with the Head of Communications to draft content for internal and external audiences, using relevant data and statistics and creating compelling visualisations that reinforce key messages.

Essential

Founded in 1681 by King Charles II, the Royal Hospital Chelsea has stood for centuries as a national symbol of gratitude to the soldiers who have served our country, and is home to the iconic Chelsea Pensioners. Today, the Hospital’s job remains to ensure that those who have served are always supported.

We are now looking for a high-performing, delivery-driven Communications and PR Manager - someone who knows how to get stories live in national media, and understands how powerful, authentic beneficiary storytelling drives fundraising and public engagement.

If you’ve worked in PR or communications at a national charity, know how to maximise national moments like Remembrance, have worked sensitively with beneficiaries, and are the person people come to when something simply needs to get done – this could be the role for you.

You’ll join an ambitious marketing and communications team focused on raising the Royal Hospital’s profile, increasing fundraising income, and building new audiences through strategic, emotive and measurable communications.

Your work will directly contribute to protecting and securing the future of the Royal Hospital Chelsea - helping us reach supporters, donors, and the veteran community with stories that inspire action and demonstrate undeniable impact.

What you’ll be doing

You will lead our press and PR delivery, responsible for an ‘always-on’ approach that generates consistent local and national coverage. You’ll ensure our stories land where they matter - driving donations, admissions, brand visibility and engagement with the veteran community.

We want someone who is:

· A proven PR operator with significant experience in a national charity or large not-for-profit environment

· Exceptional at storytelling, especially beneficiary-led stories, handled with sensitivity and impact

· Good at spotting media opportunities, crafting strong angles, and who knows what journalists want

· Comfortable juggling multiple projects and deadlines without ever dropping the standard

· An experienced line manager or mentor of junior colleagues

The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments across eight Royal Parks in London. These include Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week. Part-time hours and job-shares will be considered, however, it is a requirement that at least one weekend is worked per week.

The Role

As the Team Leader, you will ensure that members of the public, groups and teams can enjoy sports facilities across Hyde Park and The Regent’s Park.

Providing operational shift leadership to a team of Operations Assistants and other staff, you will work across our boating, swimming, tennis, padel, netball, football and lawn bowls facilities.

You’ll ensure all activities run smoothly and safely, championing excellent customer service and H&S at all times. Supporting your team and colleagues, you will prepare facilities for daily use and special events, contributing to a positive, well-managed environment for both customers and staff.

About You

To be considered as the Team Leader, you will need:

• Previous experience in the leisure, hospitality or service industries
• Experience working with high volumes of customers
• The ability to manage customers and resources to support smooth operations
• Excellent customer service skills with clear, professional communication
• The ability to work flexibly and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
