With our transition to the Royal College of Pharmacy drawing nearer we are looking to recruit a Director of Finance and Technology to help with the implementation of our strategic plan and overall leadership and management of the College. This brand new role will lead the Finance and Technology functions and manage our property and investment portfolio to deliver against the Objects of the College.

Initially, the role will focus on taking forward the activity, started by our portfolio CFO, required to launch and embed the financial structure and activities of the Royal College to ensure compliance with our charter objects and the requirements of the charity commission.

• Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making as a member of the Executive Committee.
• Support the CEO in developing and delivering the College’s Finance Strategy, including five-year forecasts and strategic financial projects.

Person Specification:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with relevant experience working at a senior level in the Charity sector in a strategic finance role and with proven record of achievement in organisational development
• Prior leadership experience at Executive level of Finance and Technology functions
• Excellent understanding and experience of how technology can be deployed to support organisational goals
• Understanding of royal charter and charitable organisations.
• Developed and led diverse, high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams, leading by example to embed an inquisitive and continuous improvement approach.

We are looking for a Senior People & Compliance Advisor to join our team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. Programme and Operations Assistants are the backbone of the day-to-day running of NEON. The purpose of this role  is to ensure Comms Hub operations run smoothly and that the wider org has a dynamic online presence. 

The Comm Hub has a busy training schedule with a host of different trainings running throughout the year. Primarily you will support organising in-person and online training, scheduling meetings and helping with administrative tasks across the Hub. For 1 day per week you will be the comms officer for the rest of the organisation. Main Duties

• Manage a portfolio of grants from key Trusts, Foundations and statutory funders. Ensure that funders are aware of project performance, and that ClientEarth’s implementation is always in compliance with grant agreements. 
• Develop and produce well researched and comprehensive proposals and reports to existing donors that meet funding priorities and requirements, within the submission deadline and oversee the coordination of Programme, Development and Finance teams as required for effective grant management.

The Director of Fundraising and Communications is a member of the Executive Team. This is ShelterBox's most senior management team, with overall responsibility for leading, planning and managing the work and development of ShelterBox.

You will be responsible for the delivery of our current 5 year organisational strategy 2022-27 as well as the implementation of the departmental Fundraising and Communications strategy, driving continued ambitious growth in our reach, engagement and fundraising. You will also play a leading role in driving the development of the next 5-year strategy for 2027 onwards.

You will work with the wider organisation and stakeholders to represent Fundraising and Communications and ensure the team are supported and able to thrive.

This is a role for a dynamic senior fundraising and communications specialist, who will bring significant experience within the sector. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will develop and implement a strategy that builds foundations for growth and drives a bold and confident ShelterBox of the future. You will take full accountability for the successful delivery of income forecasts and expenditure budgets. You will work with the team to deliver best in class communications across our channels, reach new audiences and grow unrestricted income through digital and offline acquisition, oversee the strategic growth of our philanthropy and partnerships programme, support our strategic partnership with Rotary, and ensure that the ShelterBox brand is optimised to ensure we stand out in a crowded market.

We are seeking a part-time, motivated and organised Income Generation Manger to support our fundraising efforts and help grow our income. The postholder will lead on our very successful corporate sponsorship programme and will develop our individual giving programme. Purpose of post

By instruction and in partnership with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) the Programme Director will manage and coordinate the operational areas of VFCC based on company policies, goals, and objectives to ensure an efficient working environment and that deadlines are met. The Programme Director prioritise the target/ objectives. We are looking for an experienced Programme Director to supervise a wide range of programs. You will be responsible for the delivery and overall success of each program. You will supervise teams and inform management on progress and performance.

A successful Programme Director must have a broad knowledge of program management principles. They must have a strategic mindset as well as be able to lead and develop their subordinates.

The goal is to ensure every program will be delivered successfully and add the highest possible value to the organization

Key tasks

• The Programme Director will assist senior management in establishing the development of the organisations long-term business Plan.
• The Programme Director will ensure that the strategic aims and planning of departments budgets/objectives are in conjunction and agreed by the CEO.
• The Programme Director will be responsible for monitoring workflow, ensuring optimal productivity, performance, milestones and deadlines are met across the organization.

The Programme Director will also be responsible for:

• CRM system – lamplight.
• Fundraising – to support the fundraising strategy and monitor and produce reports.
• Assist SMT in setting goals that promote company growth which will support the strategic objectives of the organisation.

• Prepare budgets, schedules, and other organisational reports as needed .
• Devise evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine and manage the need for improvements team workloads to meet goals and deadlines.

• Work closely with other departments to promote efficient optimisation.

Other duties:

• To work within the organisation’s policies and practice guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement a multi-year fundraising strategy aligned with organisational growth and strategic goals

• Lead all fundraising streams, prioritising the development of our relationships with trusts & foundations and corporate partnerships

• Agree on income targets, KPIs, and a robust pipeline to meet current and future funding needs

• Report to the CEO and Board on fundraising performance, risks, and opportunities

Trusts, Foundations & Grants

• Identify and develop opportunities for major grants and philanthropic funding (including from Government stakeholders) and then cultivate and sustain relationships with donors

• Write compelling funding applications and impact reports to secure and retain grant income

• Maintain relationships with key funders and proactively seek multi-year funding opportunities

Corporate Partnerships

• Identify and secure high-value corporate partnerships aligned with The Cyber Helpline’s mission and values

• Develop innovative, mutually beneficial partnership packages, including sponsorship, pro bono support, and employee engagement

• Enable corporations to fundraise for our mission

• Build a sustainable corporate pipeline through networking, stewardship, and thought leadership

Individual Giving & Community Engagement

• Build an individual giving programme, exploring opportunities for regular giving, campaigns, digital fundraising and major donors

• Support the development of community fundraising and challenge events with long-term potential

• Work with the comms team to create engaging supporter journeys and fundraising content

• Engaging our team members - and their networks - to engage in fundraising activity

Internal Leadership & Collaboration

• Work with the CEO and leadership team to embed a fundraising mindset across the organisation

• Collaborate with operations and finance to ensure accurate budgeting, forecasting, and grant management

• With Board approval, Recruit and Line manage fundraising staff and/or freelance support as resources permit

Requirements

Candidates must be 18 years old or older and resident in the UK with the right to work in the UK.

• Proven experience of achieving significant fundraising goals, ideally in a small-to-medium charity environment
