This provides the platform for the continued investment in the legacy programme ensuring a strong pipeline is developed to support the research ambitions of the Charity.

The Legacy Casework officer is responsible for working on the case load of open legacy cases, taking responsibility for pecuniary, residuary legacies, and contentious cases, with the support of the Legacy Casework Manager (LCM).

The role requires experience and understanding of legacy administration, including knowledge of the legislation and precedents, ability to guide lay executors, review estate accounts, answer audit queries related to casework, and support the LCM to ensure the charity receives its entitlement, as per the Charity Commissions regulations.

It is also the responsibility of the Legacy Casework officer to ensure that the Legacy Admin CRM, First Class, is accurately representative of each case and all cases are in line with data protection principles.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Legacy administration

· Manage legacy cases assigned by LCM from notification to receipt.

· Record new legacy cases and all appropriate information, including income, using databases, setting up regular reviews in line with the Charity’s policy until the completion of the administration.

· Send correspondence to the solicitors, executors and next of kin including all relevant information, with support of LCM where necessary.

· Ensuring the charity receives its full entitlement, satisfying legal requirements by requesting copies of all relevant documentation, as outlined by the LCM.

· Assisting with the end of the Charity’s financial year auditing and accruals process, by attending and supporting LCM in audit meetings, as and when required.

· Reporting on notifications, highlighting any trends in notifications and/or gifts to LCM and Head of Legacy and In-Memory Giving.

· Advising, and supporting the LCM, in development of legacy casework processes and policies.

· Sign receipts for legacies as a delegated officer of ARUK.

Team support

· Inputting into annual planning and development of legacy and in memory marketing plans.

· Being actively involved in cross-functional activities as required, including matrix working.

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using First Class

· Qualified or working towards Certificate in Charity Legacy Administration/ Equivalent probate legal background

· Ability to manage multiple caseloads and remain calm under pressure.

· Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

· Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data to spot trends

· Delivers a high level of service to stakeholders, both internal and external

· Able to work as part of a team and autonomously when required

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

The Senior Officer- Executive Office plays a vital role in providing high-level strategic, operational and administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer. This position is central to the smooth functioning of the CEO’s office, enabling the CEO to focus on leading the organisation effectively and with impact. ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a Senior Officer- Executive Office with strong experience supporting CEOs, senior leaders and Boards. You will be proactive and independent: an instinctive problem-solver with experience in designing and deploying easy-to-use systems and processes to support effective communication and project delivery within and beyond senior leadership, the Board, and wider team members.

Strategic and Project Management

Governance and Leadership Coordination

• In close collaboration with the Director of Operations and Finance, support the Board recruitment process, including conducting due diligence, managing conflict of interest declarations, and ensuring robust compliance and documentation.
• Lead the planning and coordination of induction and onboarding for new Board members, including the facilitation of any required training such as safeguarding, governance responsibilities, and organisational policies.
• Support the review and update of the organisation’s Articles of Association, working in liaison with legal counsel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with organisational priorities
• Liaise with SLT members to ensure the effective delivery of Board and Committee meetings, including preparing high-quality papers and presentations, maintaining records, tracking actions, and supporting timely follow-up.
• Provide executive support to the CEO, including coordinating AMT, SLT and Board meetings, minute-taking, managing follow-ups, and ensuring team-wide communication flows smoothly.

Executive Support

• Act as both a gatekeeper and gateway to the CEO, exercising sound judgment in managing access and prioritising engagements, while nurturing trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, efficiency, and strategic connectivity.
• Ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings by providing timely and accurate briefings, agendas,  relevant materials.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate meetings, events, and engagements involving the CEO.
• Manage the CEO’s global travel, events and calendars.
• Manage CEO expenses and budget-related documentation and ensure accurate financial tracking for the CEO’s office.

Internal communications

• Lead on the delivery of internal communications to all team members, gathering inputs and updates from all teams and producing a regular internal staff newsletter
• Working with other teams, support the coordination and delivery of team-wide convenings and events.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

 Essential experience

• A minimum of 7 years extensive professional experience in a similar role working directly with a high-performing leadership team and Board.
• Significant experience managing Board and governance processes, documentation, and communication flows.
• Strong track record in internal communications processes for diverse, multi-cultural teams.
• Advanced level in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Exceptional and demonstratable experience with or knowledge of project management tools/ software and management systems and procedures.
• Strong ability to be proactive and take initiative.

Essential skills and knowledge

• High level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and in compliance with GDPR.
• Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills, with strong copyediting and an ability to write concisely for diverse audiences.

Delivery Officer (North)

£32,000-£34,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits 

Location – Home-based with regular travel across a designated region and to our offices as required 

We are the Football Foundation - the Premier League, the FA and government’s charity that delivers outstanding grassroots facilities, more and better places to play, transforming lives and communities where it is needed most.  

To help us with this important mission, we are looking for a Delivery Officer for our North Region (covering Cheshire FA, Cumberland FA, Durham FA, Lancashire FA, Liverpool FA, Manchester FA, North Riding FA, Northumberland FA and Westmorland FA). As a Delivery Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of capital projects across a defined region – including 3G pitches, pavilions, grass pitch improvements, PlayZones and more. You’ll work closely with applicants and colleagues across the Foundation to help turn project ideas into reality, from early pipeline stages to pre-award. 

You’ll provide first-line support to applicants, coordinate project records, and contribute to grant assessments – ensuring each project meets our standards and supports our strategic aims. What are we looking for? 

Someone with hands-on experience supporting or delivering capital projects, grants, or community programmes—ideally within a grassroots sport or community setting. You’ll have a solid understanding of the challenges faced by local clubs and organisations, and a passion for helping them succeed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to produce clear, concise reports to support decision-making. Confident using Microsoft 365 tools and managing project records digitally. We’re also looking for someone who can effectively plan and prioritise a busy and varied workload, and who thrives in a collaborative team environment while building positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

What can we offer you? 

The salary band for this role is £32,000 - £34,000 per annum, dependent on relevant skills and experience. 

You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (which increases after 2 years), plus additional time off to volunteer. About the role

You will be responsible for supporting the finance manager on managing the charity’s finance ledgers, year-end accounts, completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals, dealing with cash banking and quarterly VAT return submissions.

You will support the directorate to improve the efficiency of processes using data and digital tools to drive those efficiencies and effectiveness across the organisation. 

What you'll do 

• Be responsible for a key financial ledger (e.g. purchase/sales/cash) and provide first line support to the rest of the charity in managing that ledger

• Support the financial accounting manager in delivering the month end closedown process

• Produce monthly reconciliations to support the financial accounting manager facilitate the overall charity balance sheet reconciliations

• Understand and support the other assistant financial accountants with their areas of responsibility to provide flexibility and continuity of service to the organisation

• Provide support to budget managers on transactional accounting activities and queries

What you'll bring

• Experience of working in a financial accounting team with good working knowledge of accounting principles and basic understanding of VAT for charities

• Have, or studying towards, an accounting qualification 

• Excellent numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills e.g. advanced excel techniques

• Experience of using accounting packages and other databases e.g. CRM to complete tasks

• Experience of managing a financial ledger, double entry bookkeeping and understanding of chart of accounts
