Finance Coordinator is a new role to support our expanding services.

This newly created role will form part of our Finance Team. As a member of a small but dynamic team, you will work closely with the Senior Finance Officer and Head of Finance. Your role will be critical to our success, with your principal responsibilities including:

• processing purchase ledger invoices
• inputting bank and all financial transactions onto the Xero accounting system
• recording donations to Xero accounting system
• reconciling donations, stewardship and CAF transactions with Xero
• reconciling cheques, standing orders and Stripe transactions with Xero
• processing the weekly payment runs ensuring that all payments are paid on time
• processing staff and volunteer expenses

You will have the support of our excellent and established Finance Team, which is central to the smooth and effective running of our operations. You will be responsible for liaising with colleagues at all levels across the organisation, as well as our Trustees, partners and suppliers. 

Kempton Steam Museum, operated by Kempton Great Engines Trust, is home to the world's largest operational triple-expansion steam engine, which supplied water to much of London until 1980. Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life - reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we aim to transform Kempton Steam Museum’s engagement with visitors and the local community, while enhancing support for volunteers and care of collections.

The part-time Volunteer Coordinator will be responsible for recruiting, training, and coordinating the volunteers who support the museum's operations, engineering activities and visitor experience. They will develop documentation including a volunteer agreement, handbook and role profiles and ensure that volunteers are effectively integrated into the museum's activities and that their contributions are recognised and valued. As part of this project we are also recruiting a Museum Operations & Project Manager (two days per week) and a Curatorial Assistant (one day per week). The Volunteer Coordinator will report to the Museum Operations & Project Manager.

The Royal Court Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join People team as People and Governance Coordinator. 

This role is central to the internal operations of the Royal Court, providing high-quality coordination and administration that underpins how we support our staff, deliver effective governance, and maintain a positive workplace culture. About the opportunity

We are now recruiting for a Programme Coordinator for our schools in London.

• The London Programme Coordinator oversees a caseload of up to seven partner schools. They manage the logistics and organisation of each school’s tutoring programme, working closely with the schools and pupils and managing the pool of volunteer tutors. They attend the weekly tutoring sessions at each school, as well as overseeing the quality of face to face and online tutoring, always working to deliver a great impact.
• The London Programme Coordinator supports the recruitment of volunteer tutors, manages the tutor sign up process, develops relationships with schools including their Senior Leadership Team and subject teachers, collects data for monitoring and evaluation purposes, and works with other internal teams on business development opportunities.

Reporting regularly on key performance indicators to key stakeholders and using them to enhance programme delivery. Work with the Programme Manager on business development, approaching new schools that might be interested in working with Action Tutoring.

This maternity cover role will have a significant and stabilising impact, ensuring co-ordination in governance, HR, and compliance for the Union of Brunel Students. The postholder will act as a key operational anchor, supporting legal integrity, staff wellbeing, and organisational continuity.

We are seeking a Volunteering and Engagement Coordinator to recruit and develop a diverse team of volunteers, to support our work with families in Barnet, Brent and Harrow.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, forward thinking change-maker to test new approaches to engaging with local communities and potential volunteers. Advocacy Coordinator

Would you like to use your understanding of politics and political advocacy, and your relationship-building skills, to tackle injustice? Can you bring people together to work for change? We are seeking to recruit an Advocacy Coordinator to develop and coordinate the delivery of influencing strategies around the identified public policy priorities of the Methodist Church and the Joint Public Issues Team. In recent years these have includes issues around poverty, refugees and migration, the environment, the economy, peace and conflict, and politics.

About you

You’ll need to bring experience of coordinating campaigns or political advocacy initiatives and an understanding of different methods of working for policy change. You’ll need a good understanding of UK politics and of the context for public policy development, and to be a great communicator. You should be sympathetic to the mission of the Methodist Church, and share our commitment to seeking justice and to issues of equality, diversity and inclusion.

You would be working as part of the ecumenical Joint Public Issues Team, which brings together the Baptist, Methodist and United Reformed Churches, plus associate partners, to work together for peace and justice. It does this through listening, learning, praying, speaking and acting on public policy issues. Workplace Justice is a new company limited by guarantee that has been created to take forward the annual New Organising Conference. The New Organising Conference is unique in bringing together a diverse group of participants - trade unions established and new, community organisers, not for profits, academics, lawyers and journalists, with a shared interest in worker rights. In September 2025 60 people will deliver 40 different sessions to an audience of 135 people.

Outreach and Operations Support Manager, New Organising Conference

Background

Workplace Justice is the organisational home of the annual New Organising Conference, now in its third year, with support from the Network for Social Change The New Organising Conference, held over a weekend, is unique in bringing together a diverse group of participants - trade unions established and new, community organisers, not for profits, academics, lawyers and journalists, with a shared interest in worker rights and community organising. Participants learn, get inspiration and form new collaborations. In September 2025, 60 people delivered 44 different sessions to an audience of 130 people. The role will provide an important opportunity to work alongside Banana Link’s International Coordinator, and in collaboration with other key staff and partner organisations, on the important issues of Living Wages, Decent Work, Social Dialogue and Sustainability.

We’re looking for a proactive and well-organised individual to support the core operations of our dynamic charity. Working closely with the Creekside Manager and wider team - including staff, volunteers and trustees - you’ll ensure our administrative, financial, and project work runs smoothly and efficiently.

As the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything connected and on track.

Full Time Salary: £28,500 per annum, pro rata. Other benefits include 22 days annual leave in addition to bank holidays and a Christmas closure period, and 3% employer pension contribution.

We are seeking a Crisis Café Team Coordinator to join our dynamic Journey Recovery Hub, a vital out-of-hours service supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises in Richmond and Kingston.

The Role

As the Crisis Café Team Coordinator, you will work in partnership with a second Crisis Cafe Team Coordinator to:

 •  Lead and coordinate the daily operations of two Crisis Café sites.

 •  Support a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment.

 •  Deliver high-quality, person-centred care that empowers individuals to manage their mental health and avoid crises.

 •  Build strong partnerships with local services, promoting the Café and its impact.

 •  Drive service excellence, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with best practices.

This role combines casework with operational management, offering an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in the community.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who excels in leadership, organisation and communication, with the ability to manage high-intensity environments and complex situations.

Essential Skills and Experience:

 •  Proven ability to support individuals in crisis, helping them develop self-management strategies.

 •  Experience managing small teams and volunteers.

 •  Strong understanding of mental health services and the recovery approach.

 •  Excellent communication and administrative skills. 

Desirable Skills:

 •  Mental Health First Aid or Suicide Prevention training.

 •  Knowledge of national suicide prevention strategies.

We are looking for a Governance & Administration Coordinator to provide servicing and support for our governance meetings. This will involve ensuring meetings and committees are governed to exemplary standards, and to ensure we comply with relevant legislation and other regulatory requirements. You will join the Governance & Compliance team which oversees our governance arrangements, as well as our complaint, disciplinary and safeguarding procedures.

Do you have experience in supporting committees and internal meetings on matters related to governance, organisational planning and oversight? Do you have experience in coordinating agendas, papers and minute-taking for formal meetings with a varied portfolio of meetings, working with different chairs and stakeholders?
