Responsibilities of our Estates and Construction Coordinator:

- Primary contact for Cats Protection premises, managing property repair and maintenance requests to support the Principal Surveyor’s estate portfolio

-Proactive solutions and coordination of repairs with stakeholders, liaison with contractors, arranging appointments, ensuring health and safety compliance, within procurement guidelines- Provide cohesive administrative support for senior team members, for projects, meeting and communication coordination, and to provide synergy across the Estates and Construction team

- Act as deputy for the Contracts and Database Manager, as required, working flexibly with Estates Assistants to provide good UK wide service coverage

- Define, document and implement clear and consistent processes and create accurate records for asset registers, in filing systems and databases such as Terrier and SharePoint

- Prepare and enhance reports to support the Principal Surveyor and Contracts and Database Manager to administer contracts and service delivery to meet team objectives  

- Raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices

About the Estates and Construction team:

- We ensure that Cats Protection is able to sustain its cat welfare operations and retail activities by providing Estate Management and Construction services delivering acquisition, repair, maintenance, re-development and disposal services for an estate portfolio of circa 196 properties including 34 Cat Centres, 88 Shops and other Cats Protection premises across the UK. Together with the Safety, Health and Environment Team and Facilities we ensure regulatory/legal compliance of properties.

- The Estates and Construction Team consists of approximately 15 personnel, 5 of whom form immediate colleague relationships.

What we’re looking for in our Estates and Construction Coordinator:

- Administrative experience working within an estate management or construction setting

- Previous experience of supporting senior team members such as Heads of or Directors, on development initiatives and projects

- Supervisory experience of team members

- Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders

- Confident creating spreadsheets, action plans and drafting documents

- Highly professional customer service experience

- Confident communicator, strong prioritisation and organisation skills, able to work on initiative

- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Word and Outlook

What does this role do?
As Gift Processing Administrator, you’ll:

• process all incoming donations, from uploading data to the supporter database and sending thank you letters, to assisting charity shops with the administration of Gift Aid,
• work closely with Gift Processing Officers on more complex work, such as problem payments or refunds,
• accurately capture supporter consent preferences, ensuring data is entered correctly and in line with regulatory requirements,
• support the Supporter Stewardship team with emails during busy periods.

The Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to oversee the financial management, control and compliance functions of the College.

This is a pivotal leadership role within the Finance team, supporting the College’s mission to improve child health by ensuring strong financial governance, sound reporting, and long-term sustainability. Working closely with the Associate Director of Finance and senior leaders across the organisation, you will take responsibility for the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of all financial operations and reporting processes.

As Financial Controller, you will lead a team of six, overseeing financial control, statutory reporting, payroll, and compliance. You will ensure that robust internal controls are in place, and manage relationships with auditors, banks and investment partners.

This role will suit a qualified accountant with substantial experience in financial management and a collaborative leadership style.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes, including group consolidations and statutory accounts
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax, audit and charity regulations (including SORP)

About the role

The role requires travel across Hertfordshire to our Wellbeing centres, community partnerships and external organisations and is responsible for a team of staff and volunteers who work within Complex Needs and Community teams across the county.

As a Services Manager you will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and work in partnership with Complex Needs Team Leaders and the other Service Managers across the Charity. Reporting into the Director for Complex Needs and Community you will be directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of two or more of our Services and a key member of the Herts Mind Network Safeguarding team.

Responsibilities of the post

• Support the Director of Complex Needs and Community with effective running of the complex needs and community services.
• Build strong relationships and liaise with commissioners and partner organisations.
• Manage the Flourish and PCN contracts.
• Work closely with all key delivery partners across the system to ensure the service is responsive, inclusive and easy to access.
• Support the development of services by promoting and being responsive to changing needs.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you’ll combine hands-on accounting with process improvement and strategic project work — helping to shape the Trust’s future financial systems and reporting capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the accounting and reporting of a significant investment portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant outputs
• Support the production of statutory accounts and related disclosures
• Partner with the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance to enhance management reporting through a newly implemented Microsoft Business Central system
• Work with custodians, investment managers and auditors to refine and automate financial processes
• Contribute to financial papers for the Board and the Trustees’ Annual Report
• Play a key role in developing improved internal reporting and governance practices

About You

• You’re a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• You bring experience in financial or investment accounting, ideally from a charity, investment, or audit background
• You’re comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels — equally confident preparing accounts or redesigning a process
• You have an interest in systems and reporting improvement, ideally with exposure to Microsoft Business Central
• You’re detail-focused, well-organised, and thrive in a small, collaborative environment

The role 

Family Fund is seeking a dynamic Statutory Funding Manager to lead efforts to grow our income from government and statutory funders. This includes proactively identifying new funding opportunities linked to government policies and programmes, collaborating with operational teams to develop strong funding proposals, and building positive relationships with potential funders to support the organisation’s growth objective.

About you

You’ll have a proven track record of meeting and exceeding income targets from statutory income sources, have significant experience or researching and writing tenders and the commercial ability to understand, set and meet financial targets. 

To be successful in this role you will have a positive approach to business development and a detailed understanding of the statutory funding landscape and how policy development links to funding.You’ll need to have creative and lateral thinking skills to identify and expand on opportunities to meet government needs through the capacity and skills of the organisation.

About our Complex Needs & Community Services

Hertfordshire Mind Network’s (HMN) Complex Needs and Community Services have rapidly expanded. The services portfolio includes, The Community Support Services, The Domestic Abuse Service, Bounce Back, Complex Needs Housing Service, Flourish (for refugees and asylum seekers), Primary Care Network Service, Peer Support, Wellbeing Services and our newest services at The Sadie Centre. The services provide one to one outreach and community-based support for people across Hertfordshire as an alternative to statutory pathways. About You and the Role

The Mental Health Administrator will be a key member of the Complex Needs and Community services, providing effective administrative support to the team, ensuring accurate and effective policies, communication and procedures are in place.

Key responsibilities

• To support the Complex Needs and Community teams to process referrals and make 72-hour initial referral phone calls
• To be the first point of contact for HMN callers via telephone, email and in person – providing high quality service to every person
• To undertake responsibility for admin duties for the Complex Needs and Community teams, including the processing of mail, responding to internal/external e-mails, word processing, entering accurate statistics, sending out reminders, staff training audits, record keeping audits, diary management and letter writing.
• To work in line with standardised administrative systems across HMN
• To work with the Team Leader for Peer Mentoring for groups to manage admin inboxes, send out meeting place invites and coordinate Peer Mentoring services
• To support with monitoring and evaluating services
• To check and process invoices
• To support the team with recruitment admin and staff induction
• To provide sickness/annual leave cover for our wellbeing centre admin teams, answering the main switchboard to answer enquiries
• To support the Director of Complex Needs and Community and the wider Senior Leadership Team as required with administrative tasks
• To support the teams as appropriate with client casework

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.

• Build and maintain relationships with funders and donors to maximise opportunities for growth and diversification of income.
• Ensure effective financial management, monitoring, and reporting of a c.£750k annual budget.

Partnerships & Place-Leadership

• Develop and maintain partnerships with voluntary, public, and private sector organisations to aid joint delivery of services.
• Represent the Dalgarno Trust in local strategic forums, influencing public policy and service design to reflect community needs.
• Strengthen the charity’s role as an anchor organisation and hub for community activity and leadership.
