As a key member of the programmes team, the post holder will be responsible for planning and implementing a portfolio of impactful programmes across Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe using sport as a development tool for social change.

They will be responsible for managing a diverse sport for development portfolio, providing high level programme support, financial oversight, monitoring and evaluation technical expertise and capacity building support to our global implementing partners. This role will involve working closely with the Senior Programmes and Grants Managers, aiming always to ensure Sport for Good makes progress towards its Vision. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To develop and manage a caseload of grants, including institutional and internal grants. This includes assessing competencies of organisations and developing organisational plans with grantees
• To support the ongoing development of grantees through capacity building, and providing networking opportunities
• To support the Sport for Good Development Team in their applications to institutional funders, trusts and foundations, providing input and advice as requested
• To ensure grant-management requirements for Sport for Good and external funding are met successfully
• To work closely with grantees responsibly to source narratives of individual and community transformation to support development of donor relationships and communication 
• To provide good customer care to grantees, maintaining regular but appropriate contact and safeguarding their interests
• To undertake monitoring trips, conducting site assessments to international and UK based projects
• To source new, innovative projects in line with Sport for Good’s funding criteria
• To assist in raising the standards of child protection within Sport for Good’s portfolio
• To update the database and to analyse data from reports and write up recommendations for senior management and/or board consideration

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience from working in a charity or foundation with focus on international development
• Experience of submitting successful funding proposals to institutional donors and trusts and foundations
• Strong track record of successful management of all reporting requirements associated with grants received from third parties
• Good project management skills, with experience delivering or grant-managing projects internationally; able to work on multiple tasks and to prioritise these to meet deadlines
• Affinity to sport, understanding of sport as a power for development 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative
• Basic budgeting and financial management experience, able to understand the link between finance and operations
• Ability to work cross-organisationally with multiple stakeholders in the realisation of shared goals
• Confident communicator and convenor, particularly in  written reports, external communications, presentations and with people whose first language is not English

Overview/Purpose
To lead, deliver and continuously improve a programme of work that communicates the long-term environmental and social impact of a major infrastructure asset in London. This role will be central to shaping how the organisation demonstrates its legacy and future value across three interconnected areas:

• Environmental Impact & Data Reporting - analysing and presenting tunnel performance data, including water quality improvements, in collaboration with research institutions and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy

• Develop and evolve the organisation's impact and sustainability strategy to reflect its transition from infrastructure delivery to asset management.

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time and the ability to capture, transport and store or utilise carbon dioxide will be crucial to ensure a sustainable, competitive and equitable transition to a climate neutral Europe.

The CCSA is the trade association accelerating the commercial deployment of Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (or CCUS) through advocacy and collaboration.  Our ambition is to see CCUS developed and deployed at the pace and scale necessary to achieve net zero emissions by 2050 and deliver sustainable growth across regions and nations. We represent a wide variety of organisations with an interest in CCUS across many applications to decarbonise heavy industries, power, and hydrogen production, and remove carbon dioxide directly from the atmosphere.

The CCSA operates as a not-for-profit company, overseen by a board of elected members. We have 20 staff across our London & Brussels office. We turnover around £3m. Our income comes from membership fees from our 120 members and sponsorship at our conferences.

The CCSA has grown by 100% over the past few years, as we have grown in profile and impact supporting the developing industry across Europe. For maximum impact we have focused on delivery, however, we are now looking at enhancing some of our internal systems including our finances. We have a UK registered company and a Belgium registered company, external accountants and bank accounts for each and a recently dedicated internal finance resource. We have some support from outsourced finance support, we anticipate this would continue, at least initially. In terms of accounting packages, we use Xero in the UK and Yuki in the Belgium office.

The role
We are a dynamic organisation looking for a part-time finance manager. We have put some structures and processes in place, but we are looking for somebody that will enjoy improving finance processes and helping make things easier for our teams in both offices. The role will be a stand-alone finance role without any admin support, so we are looking for a self-starter who works independently and is both strategic and operational and won’t mind invoicing/chasing debt.

The role will be managed by the CEO and other members of the senior leadership team.

Responsibilities

Finance management

• Preparation of accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including reconciliation across both UK and BE offices accounting systems and comparing the forecast out-turn for the year against budget
• Assisting with the preparation of the finance update for the quarterly board meeting working with our two external accounting firms
• Cash monitoring and reporting
• Working with senior managers to produce an annual budget with quarterly re-forecasting
• Supporting the CEO with documents/reporting for the quarterly Board and Finance and Risk Committee meetings
• As finance controller, develop and enhance the CCSA’s finance processes, compliance and systems, especially using tech solutions
• When required, liaise with the external auditors, ensuring that timescales are communicated and agreed, and the auditors’ requirements are met to ensure timely completion of their work

Finance operations

• Preparation and sending of sales invoices (c200 a year) and chasing aged debt
• Oversight of bill payments and expenses
• Process and post month-end journals
• Running the monthly UK and maybe BE payroll including liaising with payroll providers
• Ensuring payroll taxes, VAT and other taxes are filed and settled on time.
• Act as a point of contact with accountants, banks, service providers, and suppliers
• Provide finance support to the wider staff team

• Other ad hoc finance/operations duties as required

About you

We are a youth movement that empowers people with refugee backgrounds to build community, become leaders, and flourish into adulthood in the place that they call home.

We are looking for a highly engaging Leadership & Volunteering Manager to lead and grow our leadership training programming, and to lead on the recruitment, development and retention of our pool of volunteers. You will work across our various hubs to ensure all volunteers are well-supported, feel valued, and are making meaningful contributions to OSH’s mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership Training & Development

• Oversee and continue to codify OSH’s LIT (Leaders in Training) course, including in-person and online sessions, and mentoring LITs on their first residential. This will include hands-on delivery, managing logistics, and working with volunteers and facilitators.

• Co-design and develop other leadership programmes for young people.

• Support young people from refugee backgrounds to move from participants to leaders within OSH.

• Lead the delivery of training and induction for new and returning volunteers in hubs, at pre camp training days and leaders retreats. This includes safeguarding, group dynamics, facilitating groups, and OSH values, but will also include identifying gaps and trends in skills and experiences.

• Help shape the pedagogy and outcomes of OSH’s leadership programmes.

Volunteer Strategy & Recruitment

• Ensure there is an active pipeline of people signing up for the LIT course

• Design and implement a volunteer recruitment strategy to attract a diverse range of volunteers from within OSH and externally.

• Build partnerships with universities, youth networks, and professional communities to widen reach.

• Develop inclusive recruitment materials and accessible application processes.

Volunteer Engagement

• Develop progression pathways for volunteers.

• Ensure an active culture of feedback and reflection within leadership and volunteering.

• Track volunteer impact and progression.

• Coordinate check-ins, socials, and wellbeing support for volunteers.

• Work closely with the whole team to ensure volunteer experiences are safe, rewarding, and well-held.

Operations & Evaluation

• Maintain volunteer records and communications using Beacon (OSH’s CRM).

• Monitor data on volunteer recruitment, attendance, retention, progression, and impact.

• Contribute to fundraising work, for example by ensuring there is a regular supply of case studies for OSH programmes.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share impact and improve practice.

Other duties

• Getting involved in OSH events in the evenings and at weekends, including residentials. These are overnight trips from 2 to 5 nights

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills.

• Strong experience managing volunteer programmes and/or leadership development.

• Experience designing leadership training or curriculum.

• Understanding of and training in safeguarding in youth settings.

• A deep understanding of inclusive, trauma-informed, and youth-centered approaches.

• Experience supporting young people from marginalised backgrounds, ideally those with lived experience of the asylum system.

• Experience volunteering or working in residential programming.

• Ability to build relationships across diverse groups and inspire trust and commitment.

• Organised and systems-minded, with good project management skills.

• Confident using digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, CRMs)

• Passion for OSH’s mission and commitment to centering people with refugee backgrounds.

• Ability to speak in other languages relevant to our community, including Arabic, Pashto, Farsi, Tigrinya, Amharic, and Oromo.

On use of AI

We appreciate many use AI tools in applications, but encourage personal insight and genuine motivation. We may also use AI tools to support application sifting, under human supervision. Final decisions are always made by people, not machines.

Want to work with multiple award-winning charity, FoodCycle? As Regional Manager you will represent, manage and co-ordinate your allocated regional Projects. Our Projects are spaces where volunteers are empowered to run community meals using surplus food.​

You will manage local relationships with venues, community partners, supermarkets and volunteer recruitment channels to enable this to happen. As an excellent communicator, you will manage the volunteers at each Project ensuring they are trained, supported and on-message with FoodCycle strategy, ensuring that volunteers are confident enough to self-organise and make a success of their Projects.​

You will have experience of programme planning, delivery and development including community led/owned programmes. You will also have experience of building relationships with a range of stakeholders and be passionate about food and cooking.​

There will be frequent travel to our projects in Yorkshire and The Humber, with some evening and weekend work needed to cover our projects. A full driving license and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this rewarding role.​

As our Events and Admin Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Events: Helping to plan and deliver a wide range of events – from breakfast briefings and online panel discussions to gala dinners – ensuring every detail runs smoothly. This will include liaising with suppliers, venues, speakers, and sponsors; coordinating catering and logistics; supporting event promotion; and overseeing attendee communications and requirements.
• CRM & Data: Acting as a Hubspot ‘super-user’, ensuring our CRM is effectively maintained to manage stakeholders, track engagement, and support compliance.
• Meetings: Coordinating internal and external meetings, including diary management for the senior team and producing accurate records.
• Enquiries: Serving as the first point of contact for shared inboxes, responding and redirecting queries efficiently.
• Office & Admin: Supporting office operations, liaising with landlords and suppliers, assisting with finance queries, and ensuring our day-to-day administration runs seamlessly.
• Projects: Assisting with proposition development and project delivery, keeping accurate records and chasing actions.
• General: Providing all-round support to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who is:

• Educated to at least A-Level (or equivalent) with an administrative or operational focus.
• Professional, approachable, and confident in communicating with people at all levels.
• Experienced in event management and administration.
• Skilled in budget tracking, on-the-day event management, and post-event reporting.
• Organised, with excellent attention to detail and strong time-management skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experienced with CRM and e-marketing platforms (ideally Hubspot).
