Training and Implementation Specialist

We are looking to recruit two people to join a mission-led organisation, supporting a friendly and dynamic team.

The Implementation Specialist role is ideal for ambitious, client-focused individuals, passionate about improving services.

It is an exciting time to join the organisation! The team are testing out new ways of working internally to streamline some of the administrative tasks away from this role, piloting new ways to support clients and even redesigning the training!

Position: Training and Implementation Specialist

Location: Remote (national travel with occasional overnight stays required)

Hours: Part-time, 28-35 hours per week

Salary: £38,972 pro rata

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: Between 8th Dec – 5th Jan TBC with candidate

You will play a vital role in supporting organisations to embed the Outcomes Star into their practice. This means helping clients make the best possible use of the Star through training, advice and practical support.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with the two Fundraising Managers (one focused on Trusts and Foundations and the other Corporate Partnerships) and the Development Director to support corporate, trust, foundation, and individual fundraising efforts. Joining during a time of growth and strategic development, you will have the chance to be part of the implementation of a new Fundraising Strategy. In the role you will:

Assist the team across the fundraising function supporting corporate, trust, foundation, community and individual fundraising activities.

Develop and maintain positive relationships internally with colleagues and externally with stakeholders, donors, and funders.

Demonstrate strong organisational skills and reliability, maintaining systems for data management and accurate records of fundraising activities and donor interactions.

Liaise professionally with Warm Welcome Spaces, funders and supporters, acting as a warm and approachable communicator.

Confidently use and manage our CRM system (Copper) to track donor data and fundraising activities.

Support basic marketing efforts, including creating quality written content such as emails and social media updates, as needed.

Securely store and organize documents on our G-Drive, ensuring accessibility for the team and compliance with GDPR and good fundraising practice.

Support the logistical planning for fundraising and wider team events.

Ensure deadlines are met, prioritising a varied workload and maintaining attention to detail in all tasks.

Take initiative to explore new areas of fundraising and contribute to innovation.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Strong organisational and administrative skills with a track record of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

2. Experience in using CRM systems (e.g. Copper) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

3. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with diverse stakeholders.

Myeloma UK is looking for a driven and pro-active Events Fundraiser to join our growing Community and Events team.  You’ll be joining the team as we continue to refine and expand our mass participation events portfolio including London Paris Ride, Great North Run and 100 miles for myeloma. You will have experience in event delivery or project planning, delivering these activities within tight deadlines while successfully building effective relationships.

The role holder will have strong administration skills, attention to detail and work as part of a team.  You will be self-motivated and able to work remotely with little supervision, managing a wide range of tasks and having an interest in sporting and mass participation fundraising events.

Previous experience or knowledge of digital marketing, virtual fundraising events and using Raiser’s Edge or similar CRM system would be an advantage but not essential. 

About the role

As the Events Fundraiser you will be required to research, promote and deliver fundraising events, campaigns and activities, providing excellent stewardship to supporters, whilst working to help achieve monthly fundraising income targets.  You will work to deliver an annual calendar of runs, walks, challenge and sporting events across the UK as well increasing support through Myeloma UK virtual and Facebook events.

The role holder will work with the Senior Event Development Fundraiser to provide the highest quality of event delivery as well as developing relationships, securing support, marketing, delivering and monitoring the event ensuring post event evaluation and future recommendations are made.  They will also work closely with Community Fundraisers, supporting them as they identify opportunities to expand and diversify their fundraising portfolio.

You will work with other teams, develop materials required to support all marketing and promotion of events, ensuring organisational brand, style and key messages are adopted and ensure maximum use of database and other technology to increase operational efficiency within event fundraising.

We are seeking a Scientific Communications and Content Assistant to join our talented Scientific Communications Team during an exciting period of growth and change for both charities.

The Scientific Communications and Content Assistant will support us to deliver our scientific communications strategy by helping to draft, design and publish engaging content for our print and digital platforms. This includes assisting with the creation of visual and written content that effectively convey complex scientific information to our diverse audiences.

The role will report to our Scientific Communications and Outreach Manager and work closely with the Public Affairs Lead and other internal teams to create engaging content for our audiences. We're looking for a confident and positive self starter with a high level of emotional intelligence, attention to detail and excellent communication skills to be our new Project Support and Administrative Officer.

 You will play a vital role in coordinating our schedule of peer-support meetings, managing our busy inboxes, supporting our volunteers and ensuring our internal systems and processes are well organised and working smoothly. You will work closely with our Co-Heads of Training and Programmes to plan and manage service delivery, support the recruitment, wellbeing, training and development of volunteers, as well as provide day-to-day running of our services. Supporting the Chief Executive and Head of Fundraising, you will contribute to Frazzled’s fundraising and development by providing administrative support and helping to organise events, meetings and reports.

Frazzled runs meetings throughout the day, from early in the morning until late in the evening seven days a week. The Project Support and Administrative Officer will be responsible for scheduling meetings and supporting our Facilitators with issues when they arise.
Please note that there will be some evening and weekend work expected when emergency tech or meeting issues arise.

Key responsibilities
 

Core Programme:

• Manage the delivery of all Frazzled meetings by being the main point of contact for day-to-day queries, managing the day to day running of core programmes, ensuring documents, schedules, records and systems are all up to date, and being on call to deal with any issues that arise.

• Respond to all public enquiries in a helpful and efficient manner

• Manage the Frazzled meeting schedule by arranging our meetings with volunteers and uploading them onto our booking website

• Design all pre- and post- volunteer meeting polls and ensure these are completed

• Host Ruby Wax public meetings with Ruby on Zoom
   

Volunteer Support:

• Support the Heads of Training and Programmes in the recruitment, support and training of volunteers

• Be confident in having constructive conversations via Zoom, phone and email with our stakeholders and volunteer network

• Ensure all volunteer records, DBS and training tracking is maintained and updated, and arranging training meetings

• Assess feedback forms from volunteers that may highlight problems or risks within meetings and manage these accordingly

• Support all volunteers in case of distress, queries, updates, problem solving alongside the Heads Training and Programmes

• Support and minute monthly volunteer meetings

• Write a monthly volunteer newsletter

Data and internal operations

• Manage and oversee all data collection from the core programme meetings, including analysis and presentation of results to staff, volunteers and trustees.

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing partners

• Support CEO and Head of Fundraising with funding applications and relevant administration tasks

• Maintain office systems and the central filing system

• Support the smooth running of quarterly trustee meetings, including preparing papers and reports

• Assist colleagues whenever necessary.

Shared Responsibilities with wider team

• Design and rollout ongoing participant feedback surveys, evaluate survey data and present conclusions/proposals for next steps to internal stakeholders.

• Manage continuous improvement projects to support the organisation and your own development 

• Help with the development and implementation of the Frazzled strategy.

• Assist in the production of the Annual Report of the charity and other publications and publicity material.

• Represent the organisation at external meetings where appropriate.

Your purpose

To manage and optimise Voice 21’s marketing activity across campaigns, data, and digital channels, ensuring a seamless experience from first engagement through to conversion. The Marketing Lead will be the technical lead on our HubSpot CRM, drive inbound activity, strengthen the buyer’s journey, and ensure our brand and messaging support long-term impact.

Your responsibilities

• Manage and optimise marketing campaigns, data, and workflows in HubSpot

• Build and maintain landing pages and web content aligned with campaign goals

• Partner with Sales to develop and execute data-informed marketing plans targeting schools across England

• Design and refine the buyer’s journey to maximise engagement and conversion from Lead to Opportunity

• Deliver marketing automation workflows and lead nurturing activity to improve pipeline conversion

• Produce and oversee high-quality, evidence-led digital content (emails, blogs, webinars, e-books)

• Collaborate with Communications, Events, and Engagement teams to strengthen reach and alignment

• Track and analyse funnel performance using HubSpot analytics and integrated data sources

• Maintain and improve HubSpot data integrity, segmentation, and reporting accuracy

• Lead UX-driven website design and optimisation using Figma and HubSpot CMS
