Job Description

• Administration & Systems Management

Managing supplies, equipment, and maintaining filing systems, records, and CRM database. Engage with and support running The Circle’s current operational systems, including Beacon CRM, Quickbooks, 1Password, Breathe HR, Microsoft 365 (including Microsoft Teams & SharePoint), FreshPay, Stripe, PayPal, Mailchimp, Wordpress, etc. Continue to develop and update systems.

• HR & Volunteer Support

Assisting with staff onboarding/offboarding, managing recruitment; Lead on health & safety, including having staff undertake regular risk assessments for home working and electronic device safety; ·

• Finance Support

Processing invoices, expenses, donations, and assisting with budget tracking. Management of monthly reconciliation with QuickBooks. Submission of Gift Aid claims and donation tracking using Beacon CRM

• Meeting, Event & Travel Support

Organizing team meetings, Board meetings, away days, overseas travel and coordinating event logistics.

The Social Media and Digital Content Manager is central to shaping and delivering the Young Vic's social media and digital content strategies. This role will take ownership of the Young Vic’s social media channels, promoting the full scope of programming and projects and bringing the Young Vic’s brand and tone of voice to life for our online audiences. The Ecommerce and Retail Manager will be responsible for driving strong, sustainable growth in online retail revenue through the charity’s online shop. This role manages the end-to-end ecommerce operation, ensures best-in-class customer experience, optimises product availability, and leads digital trading activity across the charity’s website and social channels. The successful candidate will work cross functionally with IT, Marketing, and operational teams, and serve as the key point of contact for our warehouse fulfilment partner and ecommerce technology suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Ecommerce Trading & Growth

• Own the ecommerce trading plan and deliver year-on-year revenue growth for the charity’s online shop.
• Optimise product listings, content, merchandising, and promotions to maximise conversion and average order value.
• Manage seasonal retail moments (Christmas, summer, themed campaigns) and work across directorates to deliver high-impact commercial activity.
• Maximise margins and contribution

Product Range, Inventory & Supplier Management

• Manage online inventory levels end to end, ensuring high availability and accurate stock levels on Shopify.
• Source new products and suppliers and build compelling, mission-aligned product ranges that support both revenue and brand objectives.
• Ensure merchandise is stocked, optimally displayed, and refreshed in onsite racking within the charity’s restaurant/HQ retail space.

Operational Manager
Location: Welwyn Garden City with travel around Hertfordshire (own transport required)             
Hours / salary: 30 hours / week. Full Time Equivalent Salary £35,000 p.a.
Pension: Viewpoint offers a defined contribution pension scheme. Contribution levels are based on Total Gross Salary Employer 5%, Employee 3%. Participation in the scheme will commence after an initial 3 month probationary period.
Annual leave:  25 days per year plus 8 bank holidays. Holiday entitlement will start to accrue after a satisfactory six month probationary period.

Operation Smile UK is now seeking a Philanthropy Manager to help grow major donor fundraising, building new philanthropic relationships and expanding support from HNWIs.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will:

• Develop and implement Operation Smile UK’s major donor strategy alongside the Director of Partnerships
• Identify and cultivate new major donor prospects through research, networking (internally and externally) and peer-to-peer introductions through supporters and board members
• Steward a small but warm portfolio of existing donors while focusing primarily on developing new prospects, delivering full lifecycle stewardship from cultivation through to long-term relationship management
• Develop compelling restricted funding propositions aligned with programmes, including geographically or thematically focused projects
• Lead cultivation activity including donor meetings, proposals, events and programme visits
• Represent Operation Smile UK confidently with major donors, prospects and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to the continued development of philanthropy fundraising within the wider Partnerships team
• Occasionally travel internationally to visit programmes and accompany donors, providing first-hand insight into Operation Smile’s impact

Essential skills and experience:

• Experience in major donor fundraising with a track record of securing five-figure+ gifts from HNWIs
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of major donor fundraising, from prospecting and cultivation through to solicitation and stewardship
• Strong prospect research and pipeline development skills, including identifying and developing new donor relationships from cold
• Experience and confidence in building rapport and trust with prospective major donors
• Experience engaging trustees, senior volunteers and colleagues in fundraising and leveraging networks for peer-to-peer introductions
• Confidence and credibility when representing an organisation to HNWIs and senior stakeholders
• Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to champion major donor fundraising in a collaborative and thoughtful way across the organisation
• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to identify and develop opportunities within a growing fundraising programme

Desirable:

• Experience in international development or global health fundraising
• Experience helping to develop a major donor programme from a low base or early stage
