About the role

We are seeking an Events Manager to lead UnLtd’s event portfolio while our current Events Manager is on maternity leave. This person will be responsible for leading, coordinating and delivering the event plan in line with the organisational strategy. We are looking for a confident event specialist who will be able to support our frontline team to deliver a schedule of events for social entrepreneurs and UnLtd’s wider network.

You will be flexible in your approach and confident managing the whole process from planning through to delivery and event evaluation. The role is primarily hands-on and often involves working as part of, and at times leading, a cross-functional team. This role will suit you if you are patient and keep calm when things don’t go to plan, or when you don’t have all the answers you need. You’ll fall back on your meticulous organisation skills to ensure that UnLtd events are produced efficiently, fulfil their purpose, and are executed to the highest level.

This role may include some travel within the UK and evening work; however, we operate a TOIL system.

Operation Christmas Child UK (OCC) has implemented a strategic volunteer ministry, investing in teams of volunteers who will multiply themselves and hugely extend the reach of OCC’s mission.

OCC is the world’s largest shoebox appeal where Samaritan’s Purse, together with local churches here and overseas, distributes from the UK 1/4 million gift-filled shoeboxes annually to children in need overseas and in so doing demonstrates God’s love in a tangible way while sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

A resourceful and energetic Regional Manager is needed to recruit, select, equip, and lead teams of volunteers throughout the greater West Midlands area and Wales. You will be passionate about developing others towards highly effective ministry, teamwork and increased personal competency. You will also directly engage churches to participate in OCC in areas not yet covered by Connect volunteers.

You will be confident to take initiative with people and projects and also have good administrative and organisational skills. You will also enjoy envisioning the numerous volunteers who participate in the OCC shoebox appeal each year.

You will enthusiastically support the Christian purposes of OCC and Samaritan’s Purse and be committed to the value of well-equipped volunteers and to developing them further. Candidates will have proven people and project management and administrative experience in the workplace and be educated to A levels or ideally Degree level.

This role is based in region and so prospective candidates should currently live in the region and provide their own transport for which defined expenses will be paid.

About the role

As Finance Operations Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality finance operations service across the organisation. You will ensure accurate and timely processing of income and costs, maintain strong financial controls and reconciliations, and help colleagues across the business understand and use finance processes effectively. You will also work collaboratively with internal teams, external suppliers and partners, including Save the Children International and its member organisations, to support statutory and donor reporting, audits and continuous improvement across our finance systems and processes.

In this role, you will:

• Provide leadership and expert guidance on finance processes including income and cost accounting, reconciliations, retail controls, accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring services meet agreed service level agreements.
• Maintain strong financial control by owning and completing bank, cash and balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying, designing and implementing enhancements to finance processes and systems to improve efficiency, controls and user experience.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, supporting smooth month-end and year-end close and high-quality financial reporting.
• Support statutory and donor audits by responding to queries and providing clear, timely and well-documented evidence.
• Support treasury activities, ensuring payments and refunds are processed securely, on time and in line with organisational policies.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience in a complex organisation delivering finance operations across income and cost accounting, reconciliations, retail controls, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Proven experience of month-end and year-end processes, including journals, data uploads, payment runs and resolving financial issues.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts and their application within a charity or not-for-profit environment.
• A proactive approach to identifying, developing and implementing controls and process improvements.

Process – a development programme for women, non-binary and trans+ music makers. Structured across three strands for different abilities (Create, Define, Release), Process combines workshops, mentoring and masterclasses to build skills, confidence and community for underrepresented producers.

Out The Box (OTB) – hands-on analogue mixing workshops in leading London studios, giving emerging producers practical experience with desks, outboard gear and professional engineers while bridging digital and analogue production techniques.

Programme Management

• Lead planning, scheduling and delivery of MPC, Process and Out The Box programmes and events.

Quality Monitoring & Evaluation

• Collect and analyse participant data, case studies and feedback, and drive solutions in response to pain points.

About the role 

The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in the smooth running of the day centre and night shelter. Working with the Operations Lead, the post holder will secure a diverse and active cohort of volunteers able to fill all the necessary shifts, ensure the building is well maintained and manage the stock of necessary provisions so that guests are adequately provided for. We particularly welcome those with lived experience of homelessness who are able to bring their ‘expertise through experience’ to the role.

Key responsibilities:

Volunteers

• Work with the Operations Lead in the recruitment, training and onboarding of our volunteers, coordinating any relevant checks as required
• Manage volunteer rotas for all our projects: ensuring all shifts are filled in a timely fashion
• Contribute to our engagement with volunteers to ensure they have the best possible experience. This includes supporting the Operations Lead in managing the volunteer advisory group and the provision of training and development of volunteers

• We’re looking for an experienced, delivery-focused manager to lead our event-led merchandise trading offer during a maternity cover. This is a hands-on role for someone who can keep business-as-usual running smoothly while delivering pop-ups and two major retail peaks: Welcome and Graduation.

Administration

The Booker Prize Foundation is a registered charity, established in 2002, which is responsible for awarding the Booker Prize and the International Booker Prize. The role

Working to the COO, the Finance & CRM Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function and overseeing the operation, data quality, and user support of the organisation’s new CRM system. The role encompasses financial processes, CRM data and reporting, governance, and wider organisational activity.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Administration

• Manage finance operations: ledgers, payment runs, reconciliations, VAT and Gift Aid where applicable.

• Work with the external payroll bureau to prepare monthly payroll.

• Liaise with HSBC regarding direct debit set-up and management.

• Run and validate financial reports and prepare monthly management accounts.

• Provide support in updating Companies House and Charity Commission records.

• Liaise with Somerset House regarding office administration.

• Support the external audit with reports, schedules and response to queries

CRM and Systems Management & User Support

• Manage daily CRM operations and provide support for reporting on contacts, organisations, events, fundraising, and prize submissions.

• Carry out system admin including user access, fields, workflows, and reports.

• Perform regular data quality checks and cleansing.

• Act as first-line CRM support for staff including onboarding new users.

• Manage access permissions.

• Liaise with CRM supplier, logging and tracking support tickets.

Person Specification

Essential

• Part qualified accountant or qualified by experience.

We’re looking for an Operations Officer to play a central role in keeping our organisation running safely, smoothly and effectively across our central office, refuges and dispersed accommodation.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining operations, facilities management, reception, health & safety, admin coordination and service-user access support. You’ll help ensure our buildings, systems and processes enable high-quality, trauma-informed services for Black and minoritised (Global Majority) women and children.

You’ll be a key first point of contact for the organisation — welcoming, calm and professional — while helping to maintain safe, well-managed environments and strong operational systems.

You’ll:

• Support the day-to-day operation of the central office, refuges and dispersed accommodation

• Coordinate facilities, repairs, access and health & safety requirements

• Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, referrals and visitors

• Support safe service-user access and reception processes

• Provide administrative and operational support across teams
