One of the nine members of the Coram group, Coram Children’s Legal Centre (CCLC) is the UK’s specialist centre for children’s rights in education, immigration, community care and family law, and provides significant international legal systems consultancy. We champion access to justice through information and advice, legal practice and representation, policy and strategic litigation. Our Legal Practice Unit provides advice and representation primarily under legal aid contract. Our Migrant Children’s Project promotes the rights of refugee and migrant children, young people and families through the delivery of advice, practice change through training and capacity building to professionals and systems change through research, policy and advocacy.
About the role
This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.
The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.
This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected. However, on other days the candidate could be based in the London or Colchester office.
Whilst this is a full-time position, we will consider requests for part-time working (28 hours per week minimum) and we will endeavour to offer some flexibility with days and hours to be agreed.

The Role
As our Marketing Operations Officer your role will be to build brand awareness, helping to ensure the Yorkshire Cancer Research brand is accurately and consistently presented across all marketing touchpoints, including branded merchandise and printed collateral.
Supporting the Marketing Manager, you will extend the charity’s reach across Yorkshire and support the marketing team to deliver effective marketing campaigns that engage supporters and help raise the profile of the charity.
Specifically, you will:

Work with stakeholders across the charity to define requirements for branded items and marketing products / services (e.g. branded merchandise / clothing, printed collateral, branded display items).

Manage the relationship with external marketing suppliers (e.g. printers, merchandise suppliers, signage companies etc.) to source marketing products and services.

Identify suppliers, make product recommendations, obtain samples / quotes and evaluate which products/services represent overall best value for the charity and formulate recommendations for approval.

Manage the procurement of marketing products/services in line with the charity’s procurement processes/policies.

Be responsible for stock management for branded items/collateral across the charity.

Develop a preferred-supplier framework for marketing products/services in partnership with the Finance and Corporate Services department.

Manage the marketing budget for branded collateral and merchandise, ensuring team and charity processes are adhered to.

Lead the Photo Permissions Process on behalf of the marketing team and ensuring appropriate permissions are in place for all images used in the charity’s marketing, ensuring that permissions are recorded appropriately on the supporter database.

About EFA
English for Action provides free, participatory, and empowering English language classes (ESOL) for migrants in London. Our classes are spaces to build community and support students to organise collectively around issues like employment and housing rights. Our work currently supports around 500 adult migrants across London. Karibuni Children, a UK registered charity, works to help Kenyan children from some of the poorest backgrounds, to fulfil their potential and release themselves from the cycle of poverty. At any one time, we are supporting around 700 children across Kenya and our aim is to walk with the children through their whole education. In addition to providing financial support to enable children to attend high-quality educational institutes, we work to reduce other barriers that may prevent those living below the poverty line from maximising their educational potential. This includes provision of nutritious school meals, school uniforms and shoes, learning equipment and feminine hygiene products. The charity is seeking to recruit a UK Operations Manager to support the programme of work. The successful candidate will be one of only two paid employees, working with the Trustees to lead the charity through the next phase of its development.
Job Description
Salary: up to £30,000 – 34,000 full time equivalent depending on experience.

This role is envisaged as permanent part time for 30 hours per week over a minimum of four days. The Operations Manager is responsible for Dose of Nature’s day-to-day operational management, providing a welcoming and efficient front face and ensuring organisational effectiveness to support the delivery of Dose of Nature’s strategic objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic team player to join our warm and friendly charity team on a full-time basis for a period of one year, with the possibility of a part-time position thereafter. Dose of Nature is in an exciting phase as we continue to receive greater funding to expand our reach. The nature of the job responsibilities may require occasional flexible hours, including some evening and weekend hours up to 6 times per year, or adjusted beginning and ending times, for example to support with monthly evening training sessions.
Dose of Nature is a mental health charity whose objective is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. Our work is rooted in a wealth of scientific evidence that demonstrates the physiological and psychological benefits of spending time in nature. We deliver ‘nature prescriptions’ to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Our Dose of Nature Prescription Programme is overseen by psychologists and is a genuine alternative to both medication and more traditional psychological interventions. Through a combination of education, first-hand experience, and practical and motivational support, we aim to encourage a greater connection with nature, and inspire lifestyle changes that will have a significant and lasting impact on mental wellbeing. The role is 37.5 hours per week and will involve working at Pensford Field, Kew, Monday to Wednesday from 9am-5:30pm and from home Thursday and Friday 9-5:30pm.

Key responsibilities and duties
• To oversee the smooth running of the studio and field, ensuring Dose of Nature’s operational systems, processes and policies are fit-for-purpose, compliant with current legal requirements and are maintained effectively and efficiently.
• To be the initial point of contact for all enquiries, responding quickly and efficiently to requests for information and other enquiries from a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, volunteer guides and trustees, health professionals, supporters, media, and academic institutions.
• To be the main point of contact for volunteer guides; leading all aspects of the recruitment and induction process with the support from our Senior Administrator; and providing guidance and support to existing guides – including management of the on-going training programme.

Job Overview
Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. The role will embrace a wide remit to support colleagues across our Investment Management, Sales and Operations functions with day-to-day investment administration to enable smooth operation of the company and to enhance our customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Due Diligence: Conduct full operational due diligence on potential offers to be listed on the platform. This includes KYC, legal entity checks and offer document review.
· Offer management: efficiently and effectively managing the end-to-end process of creating, reviewing, tracking offers. This includes administration of post-close payments and investor updates. Serve as the central point of contact for enquiries from both the issuing clients as well as investors.
· Process improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline and optimize offer lifecycle management processes through automation, standardization, and best practices.
· Standard Operating Procedures: Ensure that process notes are kept up-to-date with any changes or enhancements to offer management processes, and make them accessible to relevant team members for training purposes.

Key skills and experience:
- As an ideal candidate, you will have experience in a financial services environment which could be in a customer service, investment management or business operations role (a financial services background is desirable but is not essential for the right candidate)
- Experience of working in the back office of a platform-based service organization would be welcomed but again is not necessarily essential
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, a can-do attitude, engaging with multiple parties from inside and outside the company
- The ability to build relationships, influence, manage conflicts if necessary and efficiently navigate situations in order to get things done
- MS Office suite literate
- A passion for operational excellence and customer service excellence.
- A structured and self-disciplined approach to work
- An interest in sustainable development/impact investing or similar
- Preferable but not essential, experience in fast-moving, growing organisations

The Director of Operations will work as part of the management team to develop and implement the organisation’s strategy and operational plans and to build the longer term sustainability of the organisation. They will be required to deputise for the Chief Officer in their absence and assist in the overall management of the organisation. As part of the management team the role demands a high level of flexibility, initiative and commitment. The role also involves working with the Chief Officer to design and improve our monitoring, evaluation and learning across the organisation in line with our new strategy.

Job Title: Admin/Customer Services

Main Purpose of Job
To ensure the smooth running of the sales floor and main office to offer a high-quality service to donators and customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Serving customers, dealing with enquiries, arranging delivery when necessary
- Processing cash, card and other customer payments
- Arranging for approved donations of furniture to be collected
- Handling product returns and payment refund requests
- Helping with movement, inventory and presentation of stock in the warehouse
- To assist in the movement of stock by road transport, including van driving.
- To assist and support new volunteers as directed. Ensure that volunteers understand the customer service standards that we aspire to as an organisation
