Our partner, a leading international not for profit, seeks an experienced Finance Manager to lead on the financial management of a complex multi-country & multi-grant project. This role will really be suited to someone interested in developing and strengthening systems and processes & providing financial oversight, whilst working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial management oversight on the project, verifying project-specific transactions and ensuring that financial data is up-to-date; and ensuring adherence to the organisation’s financial policies.
• Lead the project’s annual budgeting and forecasting process, allocating funds across country and global teams & operations.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial reports for the organisation’s project, including monthly, quarterly, and donor-specific reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and implement financial controls and processes to ensure compliance to donors and organisational policies, including tools such as templates, checklists, and manuals.
• Review budgets, quarterly reports and variance analyses, reforecasts, cash requests and agreements from sub-grantees; and ensure that they understand guidance on compliance and financial reporting.
• Treasury management – monitoring and analysis foreign exchange fluctuations, and their impact on project delivery.
• Responsible for supplier management, including reviewing contracts.
• Management of a Finance Officer

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (and holding an active membership with an accountancy body) with experience in designing, developing and strengthening processes and controls for complex multi-country, multi-grants projects.
• Experience in the financial management and administration of grants, including budgeting, forecasting, undertaking analysis & monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience of donor compliance and reporting, including of institutional donors with complex compliance and reporting requirements.
• Experience of working specifically in the context of sub-grantees and implementing partners on the ground.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, able to analyse complex financial information to provide the full picture on the project implementation, and to be able to present this alongside other analyses and reports to senior internal and external stakeholders clearly and succinctly.
• A strong command of the English language.
• Able to work effectively under pressure

About the Role

As Retail Area Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting a portfolio of approximately 10–15 charity shops across your region. Currently, there are 9 shops in this area – located in Cockermouth, Doncaster, Hexham, Matlock, Penrith, South Shields, Ulverston, Wetherby, and Whitby – though this may change as our retail network evolves.

While our long-term vision is to have paid Shop Managers in all our shops, approximately 80% in this area are currently run by volunteers and do not have a paid Manager. You'll work closely with and through volunteer teams (150–200 people) to drive income growth, meet key commercial targets, and deliver an exceptional experience for customers and donors alike.

You'll lead with purpose – inspiring, coaching, and empowering teams while ensuring operational excellence and championing our mission on the high street.

This is a home-based role with regular travel across your region and occasional overnight stays.  You will be expected to spend an average of four days per week in the shops and reside within the area served by one of the region's shops.

The Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) is looking for a Senior Manager - Network to support our mission to help every young person find their best next step. You will ensure consistent high-quality delivery and support for all Careers Hubs across the country.

You will play a key role in delivering CEC’s current and future ambitions through our network of Careers Hubs, including the government’s ambition for a new work experience guarantee to ensure that all pupils participate in 2 weeks’ worth of work experience by the time they leave year 11. About the Role

As part of the Strategy, Finance, and Operations Team, the Insight and Evaluation Manager will be responsible for ensuring all teams have the right data to deliver, monitor, and fund our programme in a timely and effective way. You will manage, analyse, interpret and present data, most of it recorded on Salesforce, in order to enhance the quality of delivery, maximise the achievement of outcomes by participants, and ensure that our programme is fully funded.

You will support this growth plan by ensuring that our data-related systems are efficient and scalable. Working  closely with the rest of the Technology and Insights team, you will help identify areas across the organisation that are in need of improvement and work to develop and implement improvements in our data-related processes.

Role responsibilities include:

· Data analysis, monitoring, and evaluation

· Manage one part time staff member working on data insights and systems

We are looking for someone with experience of:

Overall purpose

This is an opportunity to join Refuge as a Service Manager to lead on the delivery of high-quality services to the women and their children living in our refuges and survivors of domestic abuse supported by our community outreach service.

We are recruiting for Service Manager who is passionate about supporting survivors who are impacted by domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.  This is a multifaceted, fast paced, and exciting role where you will join our team in Derby to lead on the delivery and development of high-quality refuge and outreach services for survivors of domestic abuse and other gender-based crimes.

Our service provision in Derby includes culturally specific service for South Asian women as well as a specialist multiple disadvantage support worker who support survivors facing enhanced needs.

The post holder will provide line management and support to the accommodation based and the outreach service staff. This will include providing supervision on complex and high-risk cases, overseeing operational emergencies, and ensuring high standards of casework. You will also ensure that all service users in refuges and the outreach service always receive a high-quality support service in line with Refuge’s policies and procedures.

The Service Manager will lead on the delivery of the multiagency aspect of work, working jointly with the Refuge teams and wider stakeholders to deliver best services to the survivors.

Candidates must have proven experience of providing direct emotional and practical support to vulnerable people, managing, and motivating staff, managing casework as well as working within multiagency setting.  In addition, you must have an excellent knowledge of domestic abuse and other gender-based violence and its impact on survivors.  

You will have knowledge of relevant criminal and civil law legislation, as well as Housing and Health and Safety legislation.   

As member of the management team, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call management service.

The service manager will be responsible for ensuring that contractual and other funding requirements are met fully, this includes ensuring that the services operate within the allocated budget and that Refuge’s high-quality standards are maintained. The role may involve visiting potential sites and contributing to the establishment of new services in conjunction with the development team.

The job involves working closely with staff that support survivors and their children who are experiencing domestic abuse and other gender-based violence.
