Key Responsibilities:

· Manage the development of ARUK’s clinical research portfolio, including funded trials, sub-studies, and Clinical Fellowships
· Act as the key point of contact for potential clinical research applicants, liaising with our clinical advisors to provide advice regarding strategic alignment and pre-application feedback on potential proposals
· Work closely with the Research Involvement Manager and Clinical Research Manager to integrate best practices in patient involvement and co-production to ensure ARUK funded clinical research is relevant for and supported by people affected by dementia
· Support the Research Funding team with the grant review process for clinical proposals to ensure appropriate Clinical Committee reviewer allocations, meeting logistics, paperwork, minutes, and committee feedback

Clinical Research Portfolio Oversight
· Oversee the progress monitoring of key clinical research projects, tracking milestones, managing potential risks, and keeping partners updated where applicable, working with the Research Funding team to ensure invoices are managed accordingly
· Work with the Senior Clinical Programmes Operations Officer to maintain the programme tracker and Salesforce records, ensuring conversations and updates are captured
· Support internal reporting mechanisms, providing timely updates to the Senior Leadership Team and preparation of papers and briefings for relevant meetings, including the Clinical Committee and Scientific Advisory Board

· Play a pivotal role in fostering and nurturing relationships with clinical leaders and research funders in the UK to build the profile of ARUK’s clinical research programme and help us to accelerate research towards a cure
· Work closely with our Research Partnerships manager to maintain and build partnerships that further the clinical research programme’s objectives
· Support the Head of Clinical Research in enhancing ARUK’s external profile through active participation in meetings and collaborations with key stakeholders

· Degree (or equivalent) in relevant biomedical science

TAG Youth Club, an award-winning charity and a youth club open to children, young people and young adults, whatever their disability. - Work closely with the Head of Collections and Research and Head of Exhibitions to maintain excellent environmental conditions for the protection of the house and objects.
- Proactively improve the sites in collaboration with the Visitor Experience Manager, leading on wayfinding, sustainability, and access initiatives.
- Actively manage and monitor the annual operations and utilities budgets, seeking cost savings and service improvements through regular contract reviews.
- Maintain records to ensure any discrepancies are followed up, allowing pro-active, timely review of invoices.
Site maintenance
- Schedule and manage routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance.
- Ensure regular inspections of plant and equipment to deliver safe operational standards, documenting results and addressing concerns proactively.
- Carry out maintenance requirements and lead on scheduling external contractors as required.
- Schedule regular contractors as required for servicing and maintenance visits.
- Hands-on approach with the ability and willingness to carry out minor repairs and fixes as needed.
- Actively manage and monitor the budget for site maintenance.
- Research and source cost effective and sustainable materials and supplies.
- Maintain records to allow proactive timely review of invoices and follow up of any discrepancies.
Health and Safety
- Lead annual health and safety reviews and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Support the development of comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for all areas of work throughout the gallery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Carry out operational maintenance work identified by Health and Safety assessments.
- Attend and contribute to monthly Health & Safety meetings.
- Work with the Visitor Experience Manager to ensure all facilities are accessible and inclusive for visitors with additional needs.
Emergency and security procedures
- Act as a keyholder and respond to emergency callouts as required.
- Manage building security systems and records and serve as Fire Marshal.
- Lead staff inductions on emergency and security procedures.
General duties
- To act at all times in the best interests of Charleston.
- Ensure that data capture, storage and processing related to finance and resources activity complies with Charleston’s policies and GDPR regulations.

The purpose of this role is to manage and develop all core HR functions, supporting employees and the organisation and ensuring the delivery of HR services which are efficient, inclusive and aligned to the Trust values.

The role will line manage the Senior HR Officer and oversees HR operations, recruitment, policy development, staff development, wellbeing, EEDI and remuneration processes. The post provides an advisory service to the senior management team and will have the opportunity to play a key role within many of the Trust teams.
You will be CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards, and be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience of working at HR Manager level in which you will have delivered the full range of generalist HR operations. You will hold skills in relationship building, communication, project management and organisation together with good knowledge of employment law and digital systems utilisation.
