METRO, In partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, delivers a model of sexual health support (SASH) throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. We are looking for a manager to lead the counselling team to deliver high-quality person-centred services within a busy inner London environment. The clients are from diverse communities affected by sexual health and mental health issues, and the role will support staff to work with people from communities such as LGBTQ and Black and Asian Minority Ethnic backgrounds and young people.

[Programme]

METRO, in partnership with Turning Point, NAZ and London Friend, deliver a model of sexual health support throughout the three London boroughs of Hammersmith and Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster. Turning Point is the lead partner for the contract and a matrix staffing model is in place. The post-holder will be line-managed by METRO Head of Mental Health and Wellbeing and work alongside staff from other agencies. They will need to work closely with the Turning Point Operations Manager, contributing to management team meetings, and working

collaboratively with other managers across the service. The role will also be clinically supervised via independent supervisor arranged through METRO.

The post holder will also manage an additional contract under METRO called Cherish Hounslow. This contract is in partnership with NAZ, to deliver groupwork and counselling to LGBTQ+ BAME residents in Hounslow. There will be two posts to line manage in this contract, a group work lead and a counsellor.

[Role]

You will lead the liaison and development of work in the local community to promote referrals and joint working across the client pathway and be responsible for supporting the Operations Manager at Turning Point with reporting on the SASH counselling service. The post-holder will also work with the Head of Youth and Mental Health & Wellbeing, to manage Cherish Hounslow.

You will be required to lead and manage the therapeutic team including direct line management of counsellors for sexual health and HIV, LGBT HIV/Sexual health counsellor (supported by London Friend), Black African and other global majority counselling (supported by NAZ) and volunteers within all aspects of the programme. Also, the post holder will carry out clinical assessments, and recruit and line manage volunteer counsellors to support the programme. The postholder will also carry a small client caseload themselves.

The post holder will ensure the completion of all external and internal monitoring and evaluation requirements, including regular performance reports for funders for both services. This will involve the use of appropriate outcome measuring tools, including CORE, and maintaining good relationships with funders and other external stakeholders and partners through regular communication.

Katherine Low Settlement has worked with older people since its conception in 1924.They are a core part of the community that we continue to work with. We provide, often in partnership, a range of projects and activities for older people including health and wellbeing; creative arts; intergenerational work; connecting people and trips/outings. Our services include an Older People's Lunch Club, Contact Club, T’ai Chi for Elders, exercise and social sessions, and support online.

We work with older people to:

• Reduce isolation and loneliness

• Improve well-being and prevent ill-health

• Enable older residents to be dynamic and contributing members of the Wandsworth community.

Key Objectives for the Elders Core Service Manager Role:

1. Team Leadership: Lead a team of dedicated part-time paid staff and volunteers, including a cook, support worker, minibus driver, and sessional workers.
2. Day-to-Day Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Elders Core Service, including the lunch club, transport, social sessions, and overseeing the one-to-one work of the core team.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the wider team to provide a hands-on program that builds on older people's strengths and potential.
4. Monitoring and Evaluation: Support the monitoring and evaluation of the project in collaboration with the Head of Programme.
5. Budget Management: Ensure the program operates within budget constraints.
6. Member Engagement: Support the planning of the core program with input from elder members and the wider team.
7. Recruitment and Support: Recruit and support new and existing members (service users).

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Delivery

• Planning and Oversight: Ensure that all service output aligns with KLS' vision, mission, values, and charitable objectives. Organize and promote one-off activities throughout the year.
• Transport Management: Manage the transport offer, including route planning and pick-up schedules.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate activity records, registers, and casework notes for the core team.
• Outreach and Support: Conduct outreach work with older people in the community, oversee home visits, and manage a small caseload.

2. Staff and Volunteer Management

• Recruitment and Line Management: Recruit and manage the Outreach and Support Workers, Lunch Club Cook, and relevant social activities workers and volunteers.
• Performance Management: Use performance management and quality systems to monitor and evaluate the project's work and processes.

3. Relationships, Communication, and Networks

• Member Engagement: Build and sustain strong relationships with elder members.
• Communication: Oversee communication for the Core Programme, including newsletters, activities calendar, annual reports, and social media platforms.
• Meetings: Attend meetings on behalf of the Core Programme as required.

4. Finance

• Budget Management: Manage project areas to budget and maintain financial records as agreed with the Head of Programme.

5. Other Duties

• Professional Development: Participate in regular management supervision and annual appraisal. Identify job-related development and training needs.
• Professional Conduct: Professionally undertake roles, maintaining a high-quality standard of work in line with KLS's aims, values, and ethos.

Strategy and Operations

1. Develop, implement, and lead execution of the charity's annual operational plan and 3-year strategic plan.

The Director of Finance Business Partnering (Operations) is a critical role within the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance division that will lead, develop and deliver high quality finance business partnering and decision support to all the central services of the university, including providing financial planning, reporting and insight across revenue and capital funded activity. 

You will support the senior Director of the Financial Strategy, Planning & Performance function in development and improvement projects. Examples include the development of a professional competencies framework to support career progression and performance at all levels, supported by learning and development opportunities, improving key processes, resource allocation and financial planning methodologies, and reporting on financial performance.

As part of the function’s senior management team, this role will lead a team of finance business partners who will provide outstanding partnering services to our central services including large functions such as Estates and Facilities, IT, Students & Education, Research Management and on other crucial ‘head office’ activities. Working closely with the corporate reporting team on the provision of management accounts, you will lead on financial performance support in-year and across our three-year financial planning framework. You will lead them in line with the vision, mission and values of the charity and work to fulfil the goals of our strategic plan. You will strengthen our current volunteering strands with effective governance and great communication and will develop new volunteering opportunities within the charity.

You will manage our volunteer-led Branches and Support groups who offer peer support, fundraising opportunities and activities locally. You will also manage HD Voice, our panel of volunteers, who contribute to the internal development of the charity and ensure that the voice of the Huntington’s community is at the heart of research into the condition.

You will co-ordinate all aspects of the volunteer journey from recruitment, selection, induction, training and ongoing support and develop effective policies, procedures and guidance for volunteers as well as developing an effective monitoring and evaluation process.

We are looking for someone with strong volunteer management skills who has experience of training volunteers and of writing policies, procedures and guidance in line with data protection guidance. Also someone with great communication and relationship management skills who has experience of managing volunteers at all stages of their volunteer journey.   

There will be regular evening and weekend work as many of our volunteers work themselves so need the support out of office hours. There will be a need for travel across England and Wales.

We are looking to recruit a bilingual, French and English speaking, Grants Officer to join our dynamic team of dedicated sexual and reproductive health and rights specialists. The Grants Officer provides support to the Grants Support Team and Grants Operations Manager across a portfolio of grants, ensuring grants move efficiently and in a timely manner through the grant management cycle. The Grants Officer will be trained to become an advanced user of our online Grants Management System Fluxx and will guide and support users who are less conversant with the system. The Grants Officers also support operational management of the fund with the development and maintenance of efficient operating and reporting procedures. 

AmplifyChange is a bi-lingual fund. Due to the current team composition, fluency in French is required, as the postholder will support our Francophone grantees, who are based across West-Africa and occasionally the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

The role is a Bath-based position and will work closely with team members in the UK and overseas, including our Grants Support Team, our Finance Team and our Fiduciary Risk Team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Using our online Grants Management System Fluxx, oversee a portfolio of grants through a grant implementation process from grant set up through to grant closure, ensuring compliance with internal procedures
• Act as the operational focal person for grantees and provide support throughout the grant cycle on contractual, operational and reporting matters, drawing on and coordinating expertise from the Grants Managers and Fiduciary Risk Team (FRT)
• Provide support in the preparation and implementation of new grant calls, and support the selection and Due Diligence process when necessary, responding to all applicants whether successful or unsuccessful
• Regularly monitor the completion of pre-contracting conditions by grantees, and obtain appropriate sign-off internally
• Coordinate, draft and issue Grant Agreements and Addendums using our online system
• Provide regular and up-to-date information to operational management by tracking and monitoring grants, and sharing best practice and lessons learned across the portfolio of grants with other staff members and stakeholder
• Track grantee reporting deadlines, supporting timely report submission by grantees
• Monitor grantee disbursements in collaboration with the Fiduciary Risk and Finance teams
• Support team members, grantees and external consultants to be confident users of the grant management system
• Contribute to the further development of our business processes and the grant management system, by sharing feedback and suggestions with relevant colleagues

REPORTING AND ORGANISATION

This is a UK based, full time (37.5 hours/week) permanent position, reporting to the Grants Operations Manager. AmplifyChange is based in Bath, and we operate on a hybrid working model. GRT are looking for an experienced, passionate and delivery focused Finance Manager to join our team in Birmingham. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial one-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. GRT’s aim is to eradicate poverty by providing humanitarian aid, relief and providing sustainable programmes to the needy across the globe. 

The ideal candidate will have a have a genuine understanding of, and commitment to, the aims and values of the GRT to implement the financial policies whilst working to support our dynamic teams. The Finance Manager will report directly to the CEO.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for preparing financial statements, overseeing monthly management accounts, managing payroll operations, handling accounts payable and receivable, and preparing the annual budget.

Main Responsibilities:

· Ensuring that financial and accounting services adhere to legal standards and contribute to the smooth operation of GRT activities.

· Annually reviewing and updating of all finance related policies.

· Creating an annual budget and regularly monitoring and comparing it with actual figures monthly.

· Managing the finance team by assigning tasks and overseeing their performance.

· Entering all financial data into finance software. (QuickBooks, Sage etc)

· Creating financial statements, overseeing cash management protocols, and managing accounts payable processes.

· Responding to bank inquiries and providing necessary information.
